La Casa del Puerto, private pool with sea views

La Casa del Puerto is a vacation home located in the Marina of Puerto Calero. The most exclusive residential area of Lanzarote. The villa is very spacious and offers a large terrace with a barbecue area and pool with impressive views of the Atlantic and Fuerteventura. We have a stable WiFi connection reaching around 30 Mbps, ideal for working from home. The pool will receive a weekly visit from the maintenance team but guest presence is not required to carry out this weekly routine task.



This house has three bedrooms, the main bedroom with a double bed and ceiling fan, another with two single beds, and the third with an individual bed. Two bathrooms equipped with hair dryer and welcome products (gel/shampoo dispenser and moisturizing cream). A living room with sea views, comfortable sofas and dining table. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. The terrace is fully furnished.



Puerto Calero is one of the best areas to live on the island, with a local atmosphere well blended with residents and visitors from the rest of Europe, offering tranquillity and a very good gastronomic offer in a select environment among yachts.



Additional Guest Policy: The listed nightly rate covers up to 2 guests. If you're traveling with more than 2 people, guests aged 3 and over will be charged an additional nightly fee, which must be included in your booking.



WELCOME:

Please provide your arrival information so we can arrange your check-in. Guests will need to download our partner app, Hoomvip, where you’ll receive a guest code to complete the online check-in and activate your digital key access, as there are no physical keys. On arrival, you’ll find a welcome pack with water, milk, coffee and tea packets, cookies, crackers, half a bottle of local wine, and a cleaning kit. The app also includes useful details such as services, recommendations, and contact information. We’re available 24/7 to assist with any questions or needs you may have.

FIXED CLEANING COST:

The house comes with clean and fresh sheets, fresh bath towels, beach towels, and kitchen cloths. In the bathroom: hand soap dispenser, moisturizing cream, and gel/shampoo dispenser. Additionally, we leave an extra set of towels and bath sheets. This cleaning service has a fixed charge shown in the reservation, but if you want additional cleaning services during your stay, please consult us for more information/prices.



CAR RENTAL:

I recommend renting a rental car before coming to Lanzarote as there is high demand. We work with a solid company on the island, and for your reserved dates I can organize and book your vehicle with special conditions, including taxes, free cancellation, no deposit required, full insurance, no fuel charge, unlimited kilometres, and a second driver included. If you would like me to arrange the car rental reservation, all I need are the details of your flight.

The house is fantastic, very comfortable and cosy. Various restaurants and supermarkets at 5 minutes walk, very hands! Owner is very helpful. There,s everything you need in the house and it is super clean An extra set of towels would be nice

A Little Disappointed

As we visit every year we compare with previous visits. The villa has been spruced up with some much needed painting and small remedial work. The fridge door drink holder remains broken 1 year later and is in a slightly worse state. The fridge door seal has now split. Pool cleanliness was very disappointing. Usually there is at least one visit from the pool maintenance team yet no visit in this occasion.

We love the villa which is why we keep returning Due to Covid we have not visited the villa since 2020. A little painting internaly and externally is required. Worst was the crumbling masonry around the lower parts of some internal walls. Normally we would rate the villa as excellent but these items need addressing.

Not great. Sheets and towels had been stabbed by a knife! The garden palm tree was diseased and shedding a continuous shower of dead mealy bugs onto the pool, making it unusable

Ferien Haus Puerto Calero

Der Empfang von Gina war äusserst freundlich und kompetent. Das Haus ist an einer guten Lage zum Hafen. Der Nachteil; gegenüber dem Hauseingang gibt es ein Hotel welches immer wieder Animation mit lauter Musik durchführt. Vor dem Haus (Sichtweise Richtung Meer) gibt es direkt unter der Terrasse zwei Baugruben! Im Nachbarhaus waren laute Engländer mit Kinder welche nachmittags sehr laut waren. Etwas weiter vorne war eine Baustelle auf welcher gearbeitet wurde. Das klingt jetzt etwas übel aber wir konnten es trotzdem geniessen. Wenn man aber wirklich Ruhe sucht, ist das wohl eher schwierig. Die Küche ist etwas knapp eingerichtet. Der Herd funktionierte eigentlich schon, bloss waren zwei Pfannen nicht für einen Induktionsherd geeignet und somit unbrauchbar. Kaffeemaschine gab es nur eine schmutzige kleine mit Filter. Klar wir waren meistens auswärts essen, somit für uns auch kein Problem. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig. Das kleine Zimmer ist kein Zimmer, dass ist ein Nebenraum von 6 m2! Die Nasszelle mit Dusche (Glastrennwand) hatte keinen Wasserdruck und konnte somit nicht benützt werden. Wir mussten also im Bad duschen. Sämtliche Fenster und Türen klemmen. Bei starkem Wind (gibt es halt in Lanzarote) hat es sogar das Tor zum Parkplatz aufgerissen. Der Pool wurde nicht oder kann nicht geheizt werden, somit war es zu kalt um schwimmen zu gehen. Zu zweit finde ich das Haus ok mit den genannten Einschränkungen. Freundliche Grüsse, Roger Zberg
