Great apartment with fantastic view of Triest

The apartment is well equipped and has a fantastic balcony with a great view of the sea and the old town of Trieste. We really enjoyed the few days. The location is ideal. The bus stop is right outside the door and you can get to the city centre very quickly by bus. There is also a private parking space for the car and we were even allowed to store our bikes in the landlord's private garage.The contact with Susy and her son was great. They provided us with lots of information about Trieste as well as cakes, jam and drinks.All in all, a perfect holiday.

Comfy, Convenient....Wonderful!

The apartment is comfortable, convenient, in a great location and our host, Susy, was fantastic! Oh! and the large terrace has a magnificent view of the whole harbor, old town, and most of the bay! Susy met us upon arrival, solved some other issues we had, and then left us with a fridge full of breakfast and other goodies to ease us into the neighborhood shopping and so on. Later, when I got a cold, she even brought me cough medicine to help out! While the shower is a bit tight, the apartment is very comfortable with all the amenities you could care for. The apartment is very near the bus stop and taxi service is very good - everyone seems to know the address. If it's available, it's a great place to stay. Hopefully we can get back some day!

Fantastic hosts.

The appartment was excellent, it was very clean and our hosts were very kind and generous. Food gifts were left for us ( regional breads and beer) apart from the well stocked larder for our use in the kitchen. I could communicate with them through WhatsApp, so any information etc I needed was quickly given. They offered to take us on a tour of the town and even took us out to the Castle Miramare. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Bus stop very close, 25 minute walk to town ( there are a flight of steps on the way but they can be avoided by walking straight on. Fresh fish available to buy just outside property boundary. Mini market 5 minute walk, supermarket 15 minute walk ( steep hill on the way back, we managed it we’re over 70 years old, easy bus journey also available. Cards and other games provided, balcony furniture extensive plus comfy cushions. We have never met such friendly, kind and generous hosts, and we have stayed in a lot of apartments around the world. We were even taken to the cruise port at the end of the week and I was given a pretty lavender bag as a present. Wonderful place and wonderful hosts.

Sehr schöne Aussicht vom großen Dachbalkon auf die Hafenstadt Triest, ausgerüstet mit Liegen, Tisch und Stühlen. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, sind immer ansprechbar und haben immer frisch für das Frühstück eingekauft. Busanbindung sehr gut. Fußläufig zum Zentrum sind es 20 Minuten. Sehr schöne Stadt, mit vielen schönen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants in der City, besonders schön am Canal Grande di Trieste.

Über den Dächern von Triest

So unscheinbar das Haus an sich auch war, diese Ferienwohnung hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Schon die Begrüßung der Gastgeberin und ihres Sohnes war sehr freundlich und es wurde uns alles für unseren Aufenthalt zur Verfügung gestellt. Von Kaffee und Keksen für das Frühstück, bis zu Knabbereien und sogar Bier stand gekühlt im Kühlschrank. Auch an unseren Hund wurde gedacht. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, inkl. Waschmaschine. Das Highlight war die große Terrasse mit dem Blick über die Dächer, das Meer und den Hafen von Triest. Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung in jedem Fall und kommen gerne wieder.

Ein schönes Appartment mit grandiosen Blick!

Die Wohnung hat einen schönen Charakter, mit Sorgfalt und vielen liebevollen Details eingerichtet. Die Küche ist funktionell (Messer könnten gerne geschärft werden), ebenso das Badezimmer mit Waschmaschine. Die Dusche ist für jemanden mit einer Körpergröße von 198cm gerade noch in Ordnung. Die Terrasse ist fantastisch mit einer modernen Markise, ziemlich groß und hat einen grandiosen Blick auf das Meer und die Stadt Triest. Unsere Gastgeberin Susy und ihr Sohn waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Vielen lieben Dank für den schönen, entspannten Aufenthalt in Trieste!

Unterkunft über den Dächern der Stadt

Susy hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns viel über ihre Stadt erzählt, so dass wir uns gut orientieren konnten. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man hat vom Balkon einen wunderbaren Blick auf Triest. Wir waren mit den Fahrrädern unterwegs. Allerdings ist das Radfahren in Triest eine Herausforderung und die steilen Berge nur mit Mühe zu bewältigen. Wenn man die Wohnung, die recht hoch liegt, mietet, sollte man das berücksichtigen.

Gut gelegene Dachwohnung mit grandiosem Balkon

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Wohnung sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und sauber, die Aussicht von der sehr geräumigen Dachterrasse ist umwerfend. Auch die Lage der Wohnung hat uns gut gefallen - sie liegt zwischen dem Zentrum und dem Schloß Miramare, in der Nähe ist ein Stadtbad (bei uns noch geschlossen) und eine Promenade mit Badestelle. Die Busanbindung ist super (es ist sehr empfehlenswert, die Busse zu benutzen - sehr günstig und man hat keine Parkplatzsorgen), auch zu Fuß sind viele Orte gut erreichbar. Bequem war der kostenlose Parkplatz vor der Haustür. Susy war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat uns viele gute Empfehlungen gegebenen und war jederzeit erreichbar, eine wirklich herzliche Gastgeberin. Check-in und check-out liefen problemlos und flexibel. Die Bilder in der Anzeige entsprechen den Fotos. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Danke, Susy, für alles!
