This peaceful & relaxing, self contained apartment is on the lower ground floor of our house. You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. There is a separate entrance.
The apartment is situated on a quiet, tree lined street of family houses in the fashionable South London district of Balham.
Close to the tube station & only 21 mins from central London
There is on street parking outside.
Oak flooring, double glazing & underfloor heating throughout
One good sized bedroom with comfortable double bed & storage.

Cheery, Bright, Efficient, Modern & Clean

Back to London this year again. Great for the short stay. Lovely area, quiet, and all you need at the end of the block, including the tube, taking one directly in to the heart of London. A cared for residence. Very helpful owners. Thanks Again.

Quiet comfortable apartment near everything

Thanks for sharing your comfy apartment with our family during Wimbledon. We really appreciated the ability to walk to the tube, railway and several nice restaurants. We appreciate Michael walking us through the flat and giving us pointers to getting around (Oyster card). Double thanks to Fiona for the tip on the Turkish BBQ place around the corner. We will stay there again on our next trip to London.

Experience to repeat for sure. Great host, beautiful place.

Such a great experience, a beautiful apartament, clean, true to the photos and a great location. The neighborhood was so quiet and safe. We walked from the underground with our son to the house by night and it felt like home. There are two grocery stores near by and an outdoor market. Michael was a fantastic host. We arrived late from the airport and we were graced with milk, eggs and croisssants for our breakfast. Thank you Michael for your kindness and we will back

Das Apartment ist hervorragend geeignet, um London zu erkunden. Die direkte Umgebung bietet zahlreiche Einkaufs- und Essensgelegenheiten. Die Anbindung an Over- und Underground ist in unter 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Apartment ist sehr schön und mit allem, was man so braucht eingerichtet. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Cozy flat in Balham

My wife and I enjoyed our 5 day stay in the Balham/Clapham area of London. The flat was warm, cozy and clean and the hosts, Michael and Fiona made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, including orange juice, milk, eggs and croissants. Location is good - only 5 minutes or so from the Balham tube and train stations. As an added bonus, the lovely Nightingale pub is only a 7 minute walk away!

Perfect location. Perfect hosts.

This apartment exceeded our needs and expectations. Michael was very accommodating and helpful. We arrived and found everything we needed for breakfast the next morning. The bus stops and Balham underground station were close by and we enjoyed our rest and privacy at the apartment when we returned from sightseeing. Thank you again, Michael... everything was perfect.

Great apartment and great hosts!

Michael and Fiona were more than accommodating during our stay. The apartment is clean, full of amenities, and well kept. The location proved to be ideal, as we were only a short walk from the underground and rail station. This allowed us to explore all of London’s offerings. The neighborhood was safe and had two grocery stores up the street (also a short walk) and a nice outdoor market as well. We definitely recommend staying here for any travelers passing thru London. Clean, roomy apartment

The apartment is in a perfect location. It is a short walk to the tube station and there are several grocery stores nearby. You can get anywhere in London from the apartment and in a very short time. The apartment is clean and has everything one needs for a nice stay in London.

bon plan en famille

Fidèle à l'annonce, vraiment très bien situé pour départ des visites ( 5 mn de marche pour prendre soit le train vers gare centrale de Victoria soit le métro Northern - station Balham), dans rue calme, bons couchages, supermarché entre le tram/train et l'appart en rentrant le soir pour faire les courses. Kitchinette avec la base pour cuisiner mais suffisante. Bon confort (literie, wifi, télé). Demander à Mickael prise "plug" pour nos équipements frenchies. Pour info : nous avons atterri à Southend (60km londres) : prix mini cab pour 4 personnes 70€-80€ en réservant par Kabee. Nous recommandons. Merci Mickael.

Nice spot to enjoy London

The flat is on a very quiet residential street, only a short walk to easy transport to central London. Michael and Fiona were very welcoming and available to help. The flat itself was well-equipped, clean and cheery! We would definitely recommend it to friends.

Siamo stati a Londra a metà giugno. L'appartamento è in zona tranquilla, pulito, accessoriato, entrata indipendente. I proprietari che abitano al piano di sopra sono cordiali, disponibili, discreti verso gli ospiti. Ha la fermata della metropolitana a pochi minuti a piedi. Rapporto qualità - prezzo: ottimo.

logement agréable et un super sejour

un sejour idéal dans un appartement très agréable , des propriétaires attentionnés et présents pour nous conseiller. l'accès est très facile proche du metro et train. un upermarché et des pubs à 2 pas ....l'appartement très joliment décoré. nous avons que du positif à dire et nous reviendrons chez vous dés que possible it was great

Très belle et confortable appartement dans un quartier calme.

Nous étions déjà venus l'an passé à Londres dans un logement à Battersea, plus proche du centre mais où seul le bus passait. Cette année, nous sommes certes un peu plus loin mais le métro qui y passe fait partie de la ligne essentielle de Londres. Du coup, nous sommes plus rapidement dans chaque quartier.. L'appartement est à proximité d'un parc, d'où la possibilité d'aller courir de bon matin.. et de partager le quotidien des locaux... De plus, il est très facile de stationner dans la rue à proximité de l'appartement, il suffit de prendre un ticket à la journée.. Le voyage en voiture est beaucoup moins cher pour une famille et plus rapide (pour nous qui sont normand 5h au total) et franchement la conduite à gauche, on s'y adapte très vite. Du coup, nous avons poursuivi notre séjour à Oxford.. L'appartement est vraiment super, chaleureux et les propriétaires très charmant s et bienveillants. Une très bonne adresse..

We are a family of 4. One of our son's is now at university while the other is studying for his A Levels. We are writer's and Film makers. We have lived in London all our lives and have lived in this area for over 20 years so we can help make your stay in London a memorable experience.

The property is self contained but we will be on hand to help and advise if needed. Warm and cosy in winter and cool in the summer - the apartment is a fantastic base for exploring London and the south coast. Perfect also for business travellers looking for a home from home while they work in London.
Balham is a fashionable district in South London. We have many Cafes, Bars and Restaurants. There is a market with flowers, fruit and vegetables. We also have supermarkets and banks close at hand.
3 minutes walk takes you to Balham train and Tube station with a quick service to central London. At weekends the tube now runs all night and there is a night bus that goes from the City Centre all through the week.

The renowned Michelin starred restaurant Chez Bruce, is just a 15 minute walk away.
We are in the famous Nightingale Triangle and are lucky enough to be able to walk to 3 of London's famous Commons. Clapham, Wandsworth and Tooting Commons are all within easy reach.
