Toledo boasts an excellent location and is perfectly connected by road, high-speed train (AVE), and air. We are located just 45 minutes from Madrid city center, making our apartment the ideal starting point for your vacation.

✈️ By Plane (From Madrid Airport)
Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD): This is the closest airport, located just 50 minutes from Toledo.

Driving Route: Take the M-40 highway following signs toward the A-42 (Autovía de Toledo).

For groups of more than 4 people, this option is usually more affordable, faster, and much more convenient than buying individual public transportation tickets for everyone. 🚄 By Train (High-Speed - AVE / AVANT)
The fastest and most comfortable way to travel from Madrid. The Renfe AVANT/AVE train departs from Madrid-Atocha Station and takes only 25 minutes to reach Toledo Station.

How to get from Toledo Train Station to the apartment:

By City Bus (Recommended if carrying luggage): Take any bus going directly to the historic center and get off at the Plaza de Zocodover / Museo del Ejército stop. We are located just 150 meters (490 feet) away from the stop!

By Taxi: You will find a taxi rank right at the station exit. The ride is short and very affordable (approximately €7).

On Foot (Scenic Route - 15 minutes): The walk is beautiful and crosses the iconic Alcántara Bridge and the Puerta de Doce Cantos gate. Important Note: The final stretch features stairs and steep slopes; we do not recommend this option if you are traveling with heavy luggage.

🚌 By Bus (From Madrid)
Origin: Direct buses to Toledo depart from the Plaza Elíptica Station in Madrid (operated by the ALSA bus company).

Destination: You will arrive at the Toledo Bus Station, from where you can take a city bus or a short taxi ride directly to Plaza de Zocodover (just 150 meters from the apartment).

From Madrid: Via the A-42 (Autovía de Toledo), connecting from the M-40.

From Talavera de la Reina, Cáceres, and Portugal: Via the A-5 (Autovía del Suroeste).

⚠️ RECOMMENDATION FOR DRIVERS: The center of Toledo is a walled medieval city. To access the property by car in the most comfortable way—and to avoid tight pedestrian-only streets—we highly recommend always entering the walled district through the iconic Puerta de Bisagra. From there, you will have a straightforward and clear route leading straight toward the Zocodover area.

To guarantee a smooth, stress-free arrival without unnecessary waiting times, please read the following logistical information about your stay carefully:

⏰ Official Hours (Check-in & Check-out)
Standard Check-in Time: From 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM (14:30 to 21:00).

Check-out Time: Until 12:00 PM (noon).

🛎️ Key Note About Reception: As this is an exclusive vacation rental apartment, we do not have a physical front desk with permanent staff. Therefore, it is essential that you inform us of your estimated arrival time as soon as possible. This ensures our team will be there waiting to give you the warm welcome you deserve and hand over the keys in person.

🌙 Late Check-in Policy (Night Arrivals)
We understand that flights or ground transportation can be delayed. If you need to check in outside of our standard hours, we offer a late check-in service subject to the following surcharges (to cover the costs of our night-assistance staff):

From 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM (21:00 to 22:30): €20 surcharge.

From 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM (22:30 to 23:30): €35 surcharge.

⚠️ Closing Time: 11:30 PM (23:30) is our strict cut-off time and final closing hour for guest check-ins. No arrivals will be accommodated after this time, except in cases of force majeure that are justified and explicitly accepted in advance.

Any special check-in or check-out requests outside of standard rules must be communicated and coordinated as far in advance as possible.
