About Linda Kremin
We hike or ride bike whenever we get a chance. Landscaping and gardening occupy a lot of our time. We have over 50 organic blueberry plants and LOTS of strawberries. Whenever we get more time off, we explore other parts of Oregon & Washington. We have always loved the northwest.
Linda Kremin purchased this Lodge in 1976
Why Linda Kremin chose Hood River
We have lived in the Gorge most of our lives. The lodge location has so much to offer . . . the view is awesome, there are two great hiking trails within one or two miles, if we need something we are just 3.5 miles from town, less ambient light makes for a great place to observe the stars at night, plus the peace and quiet can't be beat. The Columbia Gorge is rich with wildlife, we presently have a doe & two fawns and a large herd of turkeys that visit daily. Natural beauty abounds, go hiking, camping, kayaking, skiing, exploring - all types of adventure. We bought our property in '76 and built a large log home taking full advantage of our mountain view. We have been offering our lodge to guests for over 28 years. We love this area and enjoy helping our guests locate the many treasures we have found in the gorge.
What makes this Lodge unique
Peace and Quiet. People come from all over for the silence, the nearby trails, the superb mountain view, the awesome night sky and a variety of wildlife. We have many wild turkeys out the kitchen window each morning. And it is not unusual to see a deer and fawn ambling through. We feel pretty lucky.

This was a fabulous place, from the antiques, the perfectly framed view of Mt. Hood and the orchards in the valley, to the antiques and incredibly well stocked log cabin. Linda was exceptionally accommodating and welcoming. We had ten old friends visiting and we all had a great time. Highly recommend to any future guests!
Linda was super easy to work with and the house was perfect! It’s a log cabin so don’t expect super fancy, but it was perfect for our group. Would recommend to anyone.
great for a large group
This beautiful home is perfect for large groups plenty of room for all and great areas to hang out and visit and the view of Mt Hood is spectacular. The host was welcoming but left us to enjoy our time there. Thank you Linda
Thank you. You had some awesome fall weather. Hope you enjoyed the Harvest Festival. I went down and stocked up on fruit too. Hope you can come back next year.
We had a great time!
This is a wonderful rustic lodge that we used for a family weekend that included the grandchildren. There was a nice big deck with a beautiful view of Mount Hood.
Thank you for choosing our lodge. We are close to town yet the forest and views make it feel like a very secluded area. We cater to groups - family reunions, church groups, non-profit groups and small businesses like our home for company events. We hope you can come back as your family continues to grow.
The view of Mt Hood from the back porch is magnificent! House was big enough for our group of 14, and everyone had their own bedroom. The eclectic mixture of cludder in the house bordered between messy and quaint. House needs major updates in bathrooms and kitchen—the microwave is plugged in on the front porch! However, we made the best of it and had a great time in the Hood River area.
Comfortable house for large groups
Our group of 17 hikers / bikers in their 60's & 70's stayed at Panorama Lodge for 2 nights in late September. The house is set up well for large groups, with several roomy conversation areas including one with a nice gas fire pit outside under cover. Great views of Mt. Hood and easy access to Hood River. Furnishings were dated but comfortable, and beds were mostly good but a few probably need updating. Owner is very close by, responsive, and friendly. Would definitely stay here again with a large group!
