Perfect Place to stay on vacation

I recommend this property where we have just spent 10 days . The location is great, very calm : by motobike, it's was easy to go to the beaches and to the little Town nearby. It's equal distance from north and south: the perfect location to visit the Island. The villa is comfortable, spacious, clean and well-maintained. Outside, we appreciated the garden, the swimming pool and the beautiful bathroom in the open air The owner gave us all information we needed to visit the Island, find good restaurants, drink and food . He arranged for us  taxi transfer from the airport and motobike rental.

This Villa is the perfect place to relax

What a beautiful place set in lovely gardens spotlessly clean with everything provided. Motor scooters are needed to get around the island Yves rented them for us no problem. Mango Bay is just a 5 minute ride away beautiful practically empty beach to relax in the sun. Sakura restaurant is the nearest place to eat excellent food Kiem is also very helpful and organised us a boat trip. The villa is perfect the pool is cleaned and the barbeque in the garden was well used by us shopping in the market for fresh fish and veg and having a barbeque supper perfect. The Island is beautiful and Yves gives excellent advice of where to visit and how to get there. Taxi can be ordered and are a good way to get around but bikes are better. I would love to return we had the perfect relaxing holiday thank you Yves and Len.

Great Host, Excellent Villa, Highly Recommend

My wife and I stayed at Villa Phu Quoc during August of this year. The villa is located close to local amentities, restaurants, supermarket and local bars as well as the beach at Bai OnLang. Further afield Duong Dong Night Market, typical fisherman villages at Bai Ganh Dau, and Bai Rach Vem are worth a visit as well as the beach at Bai Sao which was our favourite. The villa itself is very comfortable,with excellent amenities, comfortable bedrooms, lounge area, spacious ensuite facilities and practical kitchen area. Outside the private pool, undercover dining area and mature gardens are a delight. Yves arranged transfer to and from the airport and met us on arrival. Yves is an extremely friendly host who made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.We spoke daily to discuss places to visit and eat as well as discussing our activity during the day. We highly recommend the villa and will be more than happy to return in the future Thanks Yves Alan and Maxine

Quiet, clean and relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay in this villa. Mr Yves helped us renting scooters that were waiting for us when we arrived. Scooter is a must if you choose to stay here but since the island has very little traffic it´s´no problem to drive. We explored the island and found so many nice beaches, restaurants and small resorts along the northern part of the coastline. The nearest beach is less than 10 min away by scooter and it´s an empty, nice sandy beach with a small local restaurant. If you want to visit a more upscale, and nice place, you have Chen Sea Spa resort just 1 min away from there. Mr Yves helped us with what we needed, even potato gratin for Christmas dinner and Champagne for New Years Eve, home delivered. Excellent service and the pool and villa are well maintain. Even a bit far from the Long beach which most if the tourist choose to stay this is a way better place to stay and explore the best part of the island which are up in the north. Go to Peppercorn resort, stunning swallow beach with nice palm trees and relaxed atmosphere. If you don´t want to cook yourself you have cheap and excellent food 10 min from the house, Sakura restaurant. Thanks for a nice stay! Karin with family If you want to eat in the villa

Peaceful and Beautiful

The villa is exactly as stated on the website - it is in a very peaceful and beautiful area which allowed us to relax and completely switch off. Yves and Len are very tentative - they kindly purchased groceries for us so the fridge was full when we arrived, they were always available to answer questions and book taxis etc and cleaned the villa whilst we were out each day. We decided not to hire scooters preferring to use taxis - over the course of seven days our total bill only came to less than £300 for eight days and we used multiple taxis everyday including three half/full day outings so this was cheaper than expected (Mr Thong, the taxi driver is exceptional!). As a family of four adults we ate out every day for lunch and dinner and found many very good quality restaurants - our favourite was the Tropical Garden just a few miles away near One Lang beach. Wifi is provided via a mifi - so although performance isn't as fast as we are used to in the UK, it did mean we could take the mifi with us wherever we went which was excellent for finding restaurants and our way around the island. All in all, we had a lovely, relaxing and very enjoyable week at the villa - thank you very much Yves and Len. Simon Warwood, Rochester, England

Relaxing stay

Ein sympathischer, freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Anlage war wie in den Bildern beschrieben und alles mit dem Roller gut zu erreichen. Bei Fragen konnten wir uns jederzeit an Yves wenden.

We will go back again.

We were 5 people travelling through Asia for 5 weeks at the height of the coronavirus in order to avoid the winter. We spent a week in Phu Quoc. This was the highlight of our trip. After visiting the Royal Palace in Bangkok, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and rushing through Ho Chi Min, it was nice to be able to relax around the pool and do nothing much for a whole week. Three of us went to the beach almost every day. The resort is about 3 km from the town, but a one-way taxi ride costs only $2.50. Our host Yves was very helpful with any thing we wanted and kept the place very clean. He called taxis for us. There were many restaurants to choose from. Yves’ wife has a fish business and he brought us barracuda filets one day and we had that for dinner. Another night, we had smoke tuna which was excellent. There were 16 cases of the virus in Vietnam but all had recovered, so we felt very safe there. There is a Pepper Farm 10 minutes walk from the resort. Yves told us that there is no point in getting pepper from Kampot as the one at the farm is identical but at a fraction of the price. Everyone was very sad to leave.

Völlig unkompliziert, absolute Ruhe, gut ausgestattet, exklusiv...aber trotzdem preiswert! Obwohl wir ja ein Haus gemietet hatten, haben wir uns trotzdem wie in einem Hotel gefühlt! Zimmer Service... 😜👍war gar nicht im Angebot aufgeführt! 😅Sehr netter Vermieter! Sehr zu empfehlen für gestresste Erdbewohner !

Beautiful villa and perfect hosts

We (two couples 60 years) stayed in the villa for 11 days. The villa, the swimming pool and the garden were very clean and perfectly maintained. The beds, the bathrooms, the kitchen - everything is very good. The bedrooms have the best airco's ever! Yves and Len are very good and kind hosts. They arranged the rented scooters, answered the many questions we had, and Yves even guided us a whole day to the beautiful spots of Phu Quoc. We were very impressed to visit an authentic fisherman's village. An unforgettable experience. Coconut Palm beach is only a few minutes (7 min. by scooter) away. A nice and quiet beach with a few very good restaurants ("Mai Jo" and "Bird of Paradise") nearby. Supermarkets and little shops for fresh fruits and vegetables are also at a few minutes drive. The Phu Quoc people in restaurants, shops and markets are very friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great villa in Phu Quoc

Great villa near the forrest/mountains. Kitchen needs a little, no bowls for nudelsoup etc. Great host who got fresh bread fo ud in the morning. A little too far away from the city to walk and the wifi was really bad. Other then that the House was really nice, clean and functional. Great pool and outdoor area.

Good sized property in quiet location. Very safe for all visiting.

Well, what can we say.......what a tremendous host. The best. He stayed up until the early hours to greet us as we had a late flight and showed us around. Brought us fresh bread and cake. Before our arrival Yves made sure our fridge was stocked with what we asked for. Much needed as hungry and tired. The pool was cleaned everyday. Beds extremely comfortable and all rooms extremely tidy. Bonus of walk in wardrobes with mirrors. Showers really good too. Yves was so helpful in every way. The gardens are large, colourful and well kept. There is a vocal cockerel that reminds you that it is dawn but can hardly be heard with the doors shut. Yves recommended "The Bird of Paradise" restaurant which we found to be authentic Vietnamese, reasonably priced and delicious. We found the "Mango Beach Restaurant" to be a great eating establishment and excellent place to watch the sunset. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Yves.

Fabulous!

Villa Phu Quoc is a home away from home!

Private Villa Phu Quoc was wonderful! Spacious and tidy. Beautiful, peaceful, relatively secluded location outside the city of Duong Dong. Close (by scooter) to many restaurants and beaches. (Note that you do need a scooter to get around.) A real bonus to Private Villa Phu Quoc is that the owners - Mr. Yves and Ms. Kim - live next door. They take great care of the villa, with Mr. Yves cleaning the pool daily and Ms. Kim tending the beautiful grounds. They provide light housekeeping daily such as taking out the garbage and wiping the bathrooms. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up and take us back to the airport as well as for scooter rentals and anything else we needed. Mr. Yves brought us a loaf of fresh bread the the first morning after we arrived, and sat down with a map of the island to explain all the best beaches, restaurants, and sights to see. It was wonderful to have him for a resource each day and to know a ‘local’ who could help us with any questions. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property. Thank you Mr. Yves and Ms. Kim for all you did to make our stay so special!

Nous avons passé un très bon sejour dans cette maison avec piscine très confortable et tranquille. Les propriétaires sont serviables et très sympathiques. De plus la maison est située à 3/4 Kms de la jolie plage de ong Lang où on peut trouver quelques bons restaurants. Il est toutefois indispensable d’avoir un scooter pour se déplacer.

Private villa in jungle, with awesome pool, beautiful yard, gracious hosts and close to beach!

We had a fantastic experience at this location! The 3 bedrooms were clean and roomy. The kitchen well stocked with tools to cook. The pool was perfect for our family of 4. The gardens were beautiful. Yves was a wonderful host. He set up a taxi from the airport and had motor bikes ready for us. The location of this villa was perfect for us. It is a short ride to an amazing beach and little restaurants. We were able to explore the island on the motor bikes we rented easily from the villa. Yves gave us many recommendations on food to eat, beaches to visit and tours to make on the motor bikes We will be back!!

20 minutes in motorbike or taxi you will find Bai Thom Cape,the most natural area of the island .The best place to make wonderful Photos.From there you can run all the east cost mountain in one side and the sea in the other side to arrive in Ham Ninh fisherman village with seafood specialty .Many small restaurant on the sea.
In my taste the best round trip of the island.We will speak about during your stay .
