Located in the hinterland of the Fampamp region, the Le Clos du HĂȘtre cottage is nestled in a calm and relaxing green setting, ideal for recharging one's batteries.

Valmont, its very pleasant town of a thousand inhabitants, offers all the amenities, and surprises its visitors with the richness of its heritage (abbey, castle).

Character house furnished 3 stars, independent brand new all comfort, chic and cozy atmosphere, large landscaped garden.
The access, dead end, offers all security to children and hikers.

Detailed description of the gĂźte:

The kitchen / dining / living room of 39mÂČ, equipped with dishes, kitchen utensils, quality appliances: induction hob, extractor hood, dishwasher and silent washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster , kettle, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, TV, DVD player, radio / CD.

Baby equipment available on request: bath, high chair, travel cot.

Shower room with shower column, large shower head and hand shower, separate WC.

The first bedroom with its king-size bed (160x200)

The second bedroom with its double bed (140x190) + its 2 bunk beds (90x190)

Rental of sheets and towels, final cleaning on request.

Very well insulated house with heating by electric radiant panels.

Large private outdoor terrace with garden furniture and barbecue possibility.
Clear view on the edge of the wood, not overlooked.

We draw your attention to the possible rental period in July and August. The gĂźte is only bookable from Saturday to Saturday only.
For your comfort the capacity of the gĂźte should not exceed 6 people (4 adults and 2 children)

Beautiful setting and surrounding area

Perfect Quiet and Relaxed Stay with delightful Host

We had a very warm welcome from our charming host . The house was very clean and comfortable overlooking the most beautiful garden . Lovely local walk into the village and lots of places to explore including Honfleur and Veules Les Roses .

A strong recommendation esp. if you have kids

The house is perfectly located to spend some nice days close to the "Alabaster Coast". We had a very friendly welcome, received some really valuable insider tips and enjoyed the whole visit. Especially the walk from the house to Valmont City to buy the baguette is the perfect start into the day. A strong recommendation especially if you have kids.

Very special location

With this house you get what you see: You can enjoy the silence and the singing of the birds. The idyllic very well kept garden is simply a gem. In a short half an hour walk through a small forest along a river you reach Valmont. To explore the region of Seine Maritme Valmont is a very good starting point. The house is well equipped with lovely details. Rachel is a very nice and friendly host who gives you a lot of advices for places to see. (All the best for Regis, who was ill, when we spent our time in Valmont.)

Das Haus ist zauberhaft, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet mit einem gut ausgestatteten KĂŒchenbereich, einem hĂŒbschen Kinderzimmer, einem Schlafzimmer mit Himmelbett (himmlisch)! und einer schönen Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln und einer wundervollen Aussicht in den kleinen Park. Vor dem Schlafzimmerfenster wĂ€chst ein großer Teerosenstrauch mit herrlichem Duft. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch und entgegenkommend. Es ist wundervoll, dort zu sein. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und gut erholt.

Ruhe und Erholung in der Natur

Das Haus ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub braucht. Hinzu kommt ein großer parkĂ€hnlicher Garten, in dem man immer ein schattiges PlĂ€tzchen findet. Neben den sehr freundlichen Vermietern leben auf dem großen GrundstĂŒck noch drei nette Ziegen, die zur Entspannung beitragen, wenn man sich zu ihnen setzt.Das Meer ist mit dem Fahrrad ĂŒber eine Bahntrasse schnell zu erreichen.Rachel and Regis, thank you very much for a beautiful week.

Kleines Paradies

In dieser Unterkunft wurden wir von Rachel und Regis sehr herzlich begrĂŒĂŸt. Das Haus ist ein Juwel, richtig gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet und einige Details sind mit viel Liebe kunstvoll gestaltet. Die KĂŒche ist gut ausgestattet, man findet alles, was man zum Kochen benötigt. Und der wunderschöne große Garten, mit seiner friedlichen Stimmung, hat uns wirklich gute Erholung geboten. Auch zu unseren AusflĂŒgen bekamen wir Tipps, die Gold wert waren.

Hervorragende Unterkunft

Das sehr schöne Haus liegt in einem zauberhaften kleinen Park. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und es gibt in der gut ausgestatteten KĂŒche alles, was man zum anspruchsvollen Kochen braucht. Das Schlafzimmer mit dem Himmelbett ist sehr romantisch und man schlĂ€ft dort so gut in der himmlischen Ruhe und der guten aromatischen Luft. Es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Terrasse mit Ausblick in den schönen Park. Es ist ein kleines Paradies. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch, liebenswĂŒrdig und großzĂŒgig und haben uns mit vielen guten Gaben aus ihrem Garten und den köstlichen Backwaren von Rachel verwöhnt. Wir haben uns in den 14 Tagen sehr gut erholt und können das Haus bestens empfehlen.

Het was in 1 woord fantastisch.We hebben zo genoten. Prachtig huis en heel schoon. En dan de tuin, heel groot en zo mooi! Zelfs met 3 hele lieve geitjes. Eigenaren ook zo lief! Het fietspad van vroegere spoorlijn naar Fecamp en Barneville was fantastisch

Vacations in an idyllic paradise

Nous avons passé 2 merveilleuses semaines dans un endroit calme, proche de la nature, avec une belle ambiance. Le jardin favorable aux abeilles nous combla de joie. L'aménagement moderne et confortable nous permettait de nous détendre. Grùce à l'emplacement idéal, nous avons pu faire beaucoup de choses avec nos fils (12 et 14 ans). Nos hÎtes Rachel & Régis nous ont gùtés avec un délicieux gùteau et des légumes. Nous n'avons donc pas manqué notre jardin. Leur maniÚre affectueuse rendra également notre séjour ici spécial et mémorable. Merci & vielen Dank!

Paradies in der Normandie

Unsere zwei Wochen in dem wunderschönen Ferienhaus kann man mit Worten kaum beschreiben. Das Haus liegt in einem sehr gepflegten riesigen Garten. Egal aus welchem Fenster man blickt, man blickt ins GrĂŒne. Das Haus selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet und bietet genug Platz fĂŒr vier bis sechs Personen. Die KĂŒche ist sehr gut eingerichtet und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Vermieter Rachel und Regis haben uns sehr freundlich begrĂŒĂŸt und uns gleich mit GemĂŒse und Salat aus ihrem Garten beschenkt, sowie mit hilfreichen Tipps fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in der Region Seine-Maritime versorgt. Wer Ruhe sucht ist in diesem Anwesen genau richtig. TagsĂŒber hört man die Falken am Himmel und abends die KĂ€uzchen aus dem angrenzenden Wald. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen

Heerlijke vakantie in een schitterende omgeving.

Wij verbleven in een mooi huis van alle gemakken voorzien met een prachtig aangelegde heel grote tuin in een rustige omgeving. Niet ver van de indrukwekkende kliffen en stranden van FĂ©camp en Etretat.

Ein kleines Paradies in der Normandie


Wir haben 2 unvergessliche Urlaubswochen in Valmont verbracht. Das Haus ist wunderschön, die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Der Garten ist sogar eher ein Park und eine Oase der Ruhe. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch und immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Valmont ist aus unserer Sicht ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in die Umgebung - und man kehrt danach immer wieder gerne hierher zurĂŒck. Wir werden das Haus und die Vermieter in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten.

Mooie locatie met fantastische tuin

De locatie is een mooi groot huis met goede faciliteiten en een fantastische immense tuin. We werden allervriendelijkst ontvangen en rondgeleid, en kregen vervolgens heerlijke hapjes en een drankje als welkom. Omdat we in onze week in de tweede helft van September toch nog mochten genieten van heel mooi weer, konden we zelfs buiten eten aan het eind van de dag en zodoende nog meer genieten van de werkelijk fantastische tuin. Het huis ligt ook goed om te dienen als uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar de magnifieke krijtrotsen met name in Fecamp en Etretat. Wij hebben enorm genoten van onze vakantie op deze toplocatie!!

Super semaine

Nous avons passé une semaine dans une maison trÚs agréable avec un magnifique parc .Nos hÎtes Rachel et Régis étaient super accueillants ( nous avons eu droits à un gùteau fait maison et à quelques légumes du jardin à notre arrivée) et ils nous ont donné de bonnes adresses de restaurant 
 Location à recommander et on espÚre y retourner prochainement

Traumhafte Unterkunft, um den Alltag hinter sich zu lassen

Das Haus in Valmont ist wunderschön. Es ist in einem traumhaften und top gepflegten Garten eingebettet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, dennoch hat man im Ort die wichtigsten GeschĂ€fte (Supermarkt, Tankstelle). Von Valmont aus ist man mit dem Auto/ Fahrrad rasch am Meer. Rachel und Regis sind fantastische Gastgeber. Wir wurden mit einer sehr leckeren Schokoladentarte und frischen GemĂŒse aus dem Garten begrĂŒĂŸt. Wir reisten als Familie mit zwei Kindern (2 und 7 Jahre) und in der Unterkunft hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Ziegen waren fĂŒr die Kinder ein kleiner Höhepunkt, da sie sich gerne ein paar Streicheleinheiten abholten. Die Unterkunft und die Gastgeber sind voll und ganz weiterzuempfehlen.

Idyllische Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage

Sehr idyllische Unterkunft im sehr grĂŒnen Valmont-Tal. Das Ferienhaus ist wie beschrieben. Sehr gepflegt, modern ausgestattet und die Gastgeber sind sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten sofort entspannen und runterfahren. Im Ort gibt es fußlĂ€ufig u.a. einen BĂ€cker, einen Supermarkt mit Tankstelle und eine Pizzeria. Die Umgebung lĂ€dt zu abwechslungsreichen AusflĂŒgen in die schöne Natur oder kultureller Natur ein. Sehr weiterzuempfehlen.

Superurlaub in Valmont

Endlich haben wir DAS Haus gefunden, nach dem wir seit Jahren in der Normandie gesucht haben: sehr nette Vermieter, sehr sauber, total ruhige Gegend, riesiger gepflegter Garten. Das Objekt lĂ€sst keine WĂŒnsche offen. Kurze Wege zum BĂ€cker und zum Supermarkt. Wir werden im nĂ€chsten Jahr mit Sicherheit wieder dieses Objekt buchen und können uns langwieriges Suchen im Internet ersparen und werden daher keine unliebsamen Überraschungen erleben.

Puur Buiten-Leven

Wat een heerlijke plek om van je vakantie te genieten. In een mega tuin, die een lust is voor het oog, zijn de vele vogels je enige aangename gezelschap. Wat een landelijke rust! En dat alles met een comfortabel en ruim huis voor de uren dat je niet buiten kunt/wilt zijn. Alle ingrediënten voor een superverblijf na een warme ontvangst door de eigenaren, die je met allerlei lekkers ontvangen. Zoek je rust en buitenleven, dan is dit een superkeuze.

Een paradijsje

Het huis is super schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, en de enorme tuin is prachtig. Wat een uitzicht terwijl je geniet van je ontbijt. We zijn zeer gastvrij ontvangen en hebben genoten van onze week vakantie. Zouden hier zeker nog eens terug willen komen!
