Modern - Vintage apartment by Acropolis museum

This is a stunning apartment of 125 sq.m. Its decoration is modern, built around some vintage Art Deco furniture from the 30s.

It is located right at the back entrance of the Acropolis Museum, and less than 100 meters away from Dionysiou Areopagitou street and the Acropolis metro station.



The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a typical Athenian building and it can host up to 8 guests. It has three bedrooms:

The Green room with a double bed and a private bathroom.

The Purple room with two single beds that can easily become a second double bed.

The Blue room with a single bed that hides another pull out single bed with quality mattress.

In the living-room, there is a sofa with a pull out bed that can host two people.



The apartment has 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. You will enjoy having your complimentary coffee during your stay.



From the spacious living-room, from the dining room and from the Green room, you can access the front (east) balcony with a view of the Acropolis museum and a partial view of the Acropolis rock.

There is one more balcony in the other side of the apartment, in front of the Blue room and the Purple room (west), facing the yards of typical old Athenian houses.





You can also request the access of our roof garden (6pm - 8pm) with a great view of the Acropolis and the city of Athens.

Up there you can have your coffee or a glass of wine under the Athenian sky, enjoying the spectacular view of the Acropolis!

Please note, though, that you are kindly requested to strictly obey the quiet - siesta hours and the rules for keeping the roof area clean and proper.



The apartment has a fast Wi-Fi connection, a 32HD led TV with a web browser and air-condition units in every room.



Of course the beds are already made-up, with fresh ironed sheets from top quality brand. Furthermore there are clean towels for every single of you.



Smoking is only allowed on the balcony

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place was exactly what we wanted for our girl trip. We were an easy walk to all the major sites. Our host was super easy to communicate with. And watching the sun set over the acropolis up on the rooftop will probably always be one of my favorite memories.

Apartment was a great place to start our girls (6) trip before taking a cruise. Unit was clean and as described. Location was fantastic! Located only a couple blocks from the Acropolis and great dinning options. There are some steps and a very small elevator to work around but these were not an issue for our group. George and group were great to communicate with and we utilized their services for both airport and cruise port transportation. My only recommendation for an enhancement to our stay would be wash cloths and hand towels but I also know those are both very ā€œAmericanā€ conveniences. Would definitely stay here again if traveling with a larger group.

Stay was nice, great location. Apartment was nice great communication with Memo properties. Easy check in and check out. Was not expecting a 200 security deposit before checkin but should get it back, hopefully. Roaches were seen but all of Athena has them

Great place perfectly located

The place was perfect for our family of 5. There are 3 bedrooms: a master with bathroom en suite, and two other ones with two single beds in each and a bathroom shared among these rooms. There is a living room where you can sleep on the couch and all doors close so it could be private somewhat. The only complain is that the washing machine did not work. Maybe user error but doubt it. George was super helpful and friendly. He arranged transportation for our family from the airport to the apartment, then from there to the port (took a cruise), and heā€™ll have a driver for us waiting to take us back to the airport after our cruise.

Stayed for 2 nights and the apartment was comfortable for 8 of us on a family trip. George was very helpful and even arranged for transportation from the airport. Excellent location. The Acropolis is just minutes away. Would definitely stay again.

We had 2 days in Athens before our cruise. The apartment is conveniently located near the Acropolis Museum. The apartment was clean and had a great floor plan with all the amenities. The host arranged transfers from airport and to cruise terminal, which was wonderful. The only hiccup was the VRBO listing said the deposit was due at arrival While at the airport I received message stating that the arrival instructions would not be provided until i paid the deposit through a link that i did not receive and a company we had never heard of. received or heard of. deposionhicvup Vz

Almost perfect

This property is well set-up with everything needed, and the location could not be better. It is spacious with a charming balcony. Please note that that there are steps to climb before you get to the elevator. I submitted some problems to be fixed to the property manager, and if he fixes them, I could give this property a 5-star review.

Nice place that could use a little care

Great location, 5 minute walk to the metro and the Acropolis. Stores and restaurants are nearby although it's not a popular going-out destination area. Management company was responsive. It is a high quality apartment with nice wood floors, suberb shades on the windows, some good pots, and an elevator in the building. But I almost gave it 4 stars because it could use some care:1) the doors creak loudly - a little grease for the hinges would take only 5 minutes to apply 2) two of the beds (the twin bed with trundle) had no mattress pads on the bed under the sheets. This is unsanitary. I put some old small extra comforters under the sheets; even when I asked for mattress pads they didn't come (they did bring new sheets and towels though).3) The trundle bed in the single twin bedroom has a bend in the frame which means the mattress is quite slanted.4) There were barely enough covers. The bed covers were nice but not that thick, and they needed some nice extra ones.5) The living room has doors that enclose it which was great, but the one couch in there is the size of a twin bed with a trundle smaller than a twin. The trundle pops up to connect with the couch part. The listing says "2 double sofa beds" which is totally false. 1 sofa bed only. There were no sheets provided for this sofa bed.6) 4 for cleanliness b/c the floors were dusty7) dishwasher doesn't work; there are no kitchen towels or hot pads.8) The towels are very thin; they provided only 1 per person for 8 days.

Location is amazing. Apartment was super charming and exactly what we wanted. Coffee, bakery, grocery, UNESCO world heritage site all in the neighborhood. Couldnā€™t have been better!

Athens getaway

A fabulous 6 nights in Athens and the location of our apartment was outstanding. It was a great size for us 4 single ladies with plenty of room for more. We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the rooftop balcony however having access to the balcony without having to book would have been preferred. The communication was excellent from start to finish.

Apartment in best location in the city !

This apartment is a located by the Acropolis, restaurants, marketplace, stores and metro station. You couldnā€™t ask for a better location to explore Athens. The apartment has air conditioning in every room. It is in a quiet neighborhood so very little outside noise. The apartment is very nicely decorated and very clean. We would stay here again.

Great Location near Acropolis Museum

The arrival and checkin went okay. The location is just minutes from the Acropolis Museum and entrance area to the Acropolis and the Metro station. There are a ton of restaurants near the Acropolis Museum but I recommend venturing a little further away to get better prices and better food. The apartment was not cleaned as thoroughly as we would have expected if a guest was coming to my home but was acceptable. The dishwasher control panel was missing so it didnā€™t work. Thereā€™s an upstairs terrace for viewing the Acropolis but it was locked except for a short time from 6-8pm so we didnā€™t get to check it out. The beds in Greece are extremely firm. This was true of another location we were at earlier in the month. It claims four bedrooms but itā€™s three bedrooms with sleeper sofa in the living room. Overall, it worked for our needs and Iā€™d stay there again.
