This place is gold. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is lovely. Our family has visited twice and we'll make it a yearly vacation spot if at all possible. We ran into a small snag and the owner's response was immediate and he got things smoothed out right away. Perfect!
The property was awesome, couldn't ask for more. Clean well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and very comfy couches and beds. Everything you need to come back to after a long day on the water, to recover and get ready for the next.
Three perfect days on the Bighorn River. The Trout House is everything you'd want in a riverside base — comfortable, welcoming, and right in the heart of world-class trout water. The fishing lived up to its reputation, and the location couldn't have been better for taking in the 150th anniversary commemoration at Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument just up the road. The hosts were gracious and made us feel right at home. If you're heading to southern Montana to fish or to take in the history, this is the place to stay. We'll be back.
