Une fantastique terrasse de rĂȘve Ă  Ponte Vecchio FLORENCE

Au deuxiĂšme Ă©tage d'un magnifique bĂątiment historique, Casa Leopardi est sur deux niveaux (salon / chambre) et offre une belle terrasse avec une vue imprenable sur les toits de Florence.
Le bĂątiment oĂč il se situe, qui tire son nom de la route vallonnĂ©e ("cĂŽte" dans la tradition florentine) dĂ©diĂ©e Ă  San Giorgio, se trouve juste Ă  Oltrarno, Ă  30 mĂštres du Ponte Vecchio et Ă  seulement 10 minutes Ă  pied de la gare Santa Maria Novella.
L'histoire de la structure se perd avec le temps, ne conservant que quelques traces incontestables de son passĂ©. Parmi celles-ci, l’inscription en marbre du XVIIIe siĂšcle, dans laquelle il est attestĂ© que le bĂątiment a Ă©tĂ© utilisĂ© comme oratoire de Santa Maria Maddalena au cours des siĂšcles prĂ©cĂ©dents.

Our stay was good, the apartment was clean and as expected. Very small kitchen, limited seating. Otherwise apartment was spacious and had a king bed, which seems like a lovely luxury here. There is a washer, and a drying rack. (No electric dryer). We were caught off guard by the many mosquitos in December, and got many bites for those not in the primary bedroom with the mosquito net. Our one disappointment was being home one evening and having a different group attempt to key into our apartment. They had a message saying this was their apartment from the same manager we worked with, even though we had two more nights. We got it worked out (manager sent them to wrong apartment), but it was startling and concerning that they could get into our unit. The manager seemed to not think of it as a big deal and simply said things like this happen.

Very charming flat close to Ponte Vecchio. Cute kitchenette and comfy beds. Perfect for a 3 people as one bedroom is very big and the other bedroom is smaller and has a single bed but soooooo comfortable! The view is so nice overlooking the Firenze rooftops and Church in the distance with a bistro table. Close walk to everything but only access is a steep street or 44 steps while approaching the flat. A great way to get exercise after eating the best food and gelato in Italy! I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean apartment. Charming. In a good location. Beautiful view. The kitchen is a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures but was fine as we didn't cook anyway.

Nice place. The check in was a little difficult. I’m sure it seemed clear to the owner but if it hadn’t been for a very nice neighbor we probably wouldn’t have figured it out. Very convenient location.

The location of this unit was perfect. Right next to Ponte Vecchio on other side of river. Balcony with incredible views of Santa Croce church and panoramic views of Florence. Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved it, and would stay again, for sure. Serena, the host, was easily accessible to communicate with at any time.

The apartment was beautiful! Big bed, nice terrace and very quiet. There is a tiny lift so you dont have to climb stairs, however, there are about 50 stairs to climb to get to the apartment so not good if you have littles or older family members. You cant get the view without the stairs! The neighbourhood was perfect for us. Great gelato and other sights so close. Thank you for a great stay.

Great Location and Lovely Views

The apartment was quite nice and the views spectacular! It was close to many restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.There were a couple of drawbacks, but I'm sure they can be fixed. The washing machine door would not open and we didn't want to force it, so we didn't use it. The air conditioning didn't work when we turned it on and there were no instructions. Also, the coffee maker didn't work so we just boiled water and used instant coffee. Be sure to bring toiletries with you and we also had to purchase toilet paper!

2 nights in Florence

Florence was magical and our visit was wonderful. This lovely apartment offers a view overlooking the rooftops of Florence. Be advised that the centrally located apartment is located toward the top of a very steep and narrow one way street. Guests with mobility issues may find it challenging to navigate the hill, stairs and bathroom. Recommend to guests who are looking to experience an old world lodging and experience.

Great apt in Florence

Great apt in Florence, good location with lots of restaurants and cafes close by. Ponte Vecchio is very close as well as Palazzo Pitti. The bathroom is pretty tight especially when getting out of the shower. The apt is on a steep hill that taxis wouldn’t drive up so you might have to get out and walk up about 30 steps like we did. It’s much less steep from Ponte Vecchio as opposed to the other side. The nice thing about being up on a hill though is the great views of Florence. Overall we would stay again and had a great visit.

Lovely apartment

We enjoyed our stay! Upon arrival we had issues with the door not locking which was quite concerning, however the host was responsive & had the problem fixed by the following day! The apartment is beautiful & very spacious, although the balcony is much smaller than what appears in pictures. The unit is on the second floor & you can use the elevator for luggage, however you should prepare yourself when arriving that you are going up a hill to arrive at the apartment or climbing up steep steps. We walked from the train station (approx 20 min) & had no problem finding the unit, but the climb was tiring lol! Florence was beautiful & we hope to return again!

Lovely Stay in this VRBO Right Next to Ponte Vechio!

This was a lovely property to stay so close to the city. Getting to the place was a little difficult just based on our navigation ability, but the apartment was spacious, had the best view, and was properly accommodated for us. Our one issue was that a mosquito net hung up with not reach well to cover us so we did get some bites, but it was worth it for how amazing our stay was. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Florence (perhaps not a person with accessibility issues, but that would be better assessed by someone else).

Wonderful stay with great views from the windows of rooftops, great location. We really needed 3 bedrooms and may not have read things completely, as the unit has 2 BRs and a sleeper sofa. It was a nice stay, however.
