Peacefull stay in romantic wooden villa in Polish 'paradise'...
We had a wonderfull stay in Poland. We got to now a country with a wide range in culture & nature.
The location where we stayed was fantastic;
- We were welcomed on a very pleasant way and could count on the home owner for every question.
This familiar feeling of 'coming home' during your holiday is a luxury that we love!
- The house was very clean and very big. Thanks to the location in the woods, the temperature was perfect. We also enjoyed to cool off in the pool.

This house is a dream!
we will never forget this holiday!
an incredibly beautiful, large, clean house in the middle of the forest. absolute peace on this place.
an accident of our youngest child brought us to a hospital. joanna was always there and was able to translate for us. joanna is an incredibly loving and understanding hostess!
the weather wasn't quite cooperating, but the kids had plenty else to explore on the property. We'll definitely be back when the kids are older. then we will do more excursions to historical places.
dear joanna, thank you very much for the unforgettable vacation in your house. Maximilian is doing great again, Katharina will come visit the rose ;-) and Florian is looking forward to the next time in the pool.

Perfect Location for restful holidays
We (4 adults and 3 kids) really enjoyed one week in this lovely location. Joanna was a perfect host, very polite and always reachable. Whenever we had a question she was available. The house is very cosy and well equiped. There is a wintergarden, where all of us found place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. When it was warm enough we used the chance to have our meals at the pool. This was awesome. There is a well equiped barbeque place available and also a fireplace behind the house. The garden is really good maintained and our kids loved to play there. So many tiny lovely spaces to have some rest or read a book or just dream a little bit. The huge garden is surrounded by a wall, so we felt very safe. Wifi worked quite well and there were also german TV channels available. A very good equiped kids area with many games was one of the highlights for our kids. 3 bathrooms and also a room with a washing machine gave enough possiblities to feel like home. Thanks again Joanna for having us ... We will definitely come back.

Einfach ein wunderschönes Haus, sowohl für Familien geeignet als auch für eine etwas wildere Männertruppe.Jedes Zimmer hat einen Ventilator, falls es zu warm wird. Da es in einem Wald liegt, sollte man unbedingt Mückenspray einpacken. Ansonsten war es einfach eine tolle Location. Es hat uns sehr gefallen.

Das Haus und der riesige Garten sind absolut fantastisch! Die Ausstattung um Haus ist großartig. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt und sogar noch mehr. Die Vermieterin ist super sympathisch und kümmert sich bei Fragen und hilft auch mit Ausflugstipps. Alles in allem hatten wir einen super Urlaub, wir konnten jeden Tag den großen Pool nutzen.

...eine excelente Lage....das Haus schön, komfortabel und mit Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet....ein Ort, um zu erholen und Kraft zu schöpfen....... Sonderwünsche und Ideen, zB die Gegend zu besichtigen, erfüllt die Vermieterin sofort....... Wir haben hier zwei schöne Wochen im August verbracht. Das Haus und das Grundstück sind sehr gepflegt und die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und gibt gute Ausflugtipps.

Toller Urlaub in einer sehr schönen Location.
wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, der Ort ist wirklich einmalig zwischen den Bäumen. Die Einrichtung im Haus ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber auch sehr stilvoll und sauber.Wir hätten gerne den Pool mehr genutzt, nur knapp 21°C Wassertemperatur war doch nur für abgehärtete bzw. nur für eine kurze Abkühlung geeignet, der Pool hat keine Heizung. Der Ort ist auch gut gelegen um andere schöne Locations wie Krakau, Katowice, Seen usw. zu besuchen. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, wir werden den Aufenthalt in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten.

wunderschön und sehr ruhig
Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Woche. Das Wetter war jeden Tag sonnig. Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit. Die Eltern leben mit auf dem Grundstück. Der Papa kümmert sich um die Sauberkeit des Pools. Das Haus ist traumhaft. Alles aus Holz, ein toller Kamin. Sehr gemütlich. Draussen gibt es eine Tischtennisplatte. Wir fanden es toll...vielen Dank für eine sehr erholsame Woche...

Schöner Ort um abzuschalten
Vorweg, wir waren mit 7 Personen für eine Woche vor Ort alle zwischen 20 und 30.
Insgesamt waren wir mit unserer Woche in diesem schönen Haus im Wald sehr zufrieden. Die Bilder können mit dem tatsächlichen Eindruck vor Ort wirklich nicht mithalten, alles wirkt viel freundlicher und einladender. Das wohnen hat etwas herrschaftliches.
Das Grundstück ist deutlich abgelegen, man teilt sich das Gelände nur mit den Eltern der Besitzerin, welche aber sehr angenehm zurückhaltend waren. Wanderungen und Spaziergänge direkt vor Ort sind leider ziemlich schwierig und unwegsam und auch sonst ist in direkter Nähe nicht viel zu sehen, ein Auto vor Ort ist quasi Pflicht.
Wir haben jeweils einen Ausflug nach Krakau und einen nach Auschwitz gemacht, hierfür braucht man ca. eine gute Stunde mit dem Auto, für uns hat es sich aber gelohnt.
Abzüge gibt es in der B-Note, weil leider auf Grund eines Sturms sowohl das Internet (was ziemlich ärgerlich war, da einige Reisende für die Arbeit darauf angewiesen waren), als auch der Whirlpool ausgefallen sind.
Ansonsten ist es ein sehr schöner Ort, mit einer sehr freundlichen Gastgeberin und das perfekte Ziel um ein wenig Abstand vom Alltag zu bekommen.

Lieber Julian,
Wenn Sie sich die Beschreibung unseres Hauses auf der Website genau ansehen, werden Sie feststellen, dass wir unseren Gästen keinen Whirlpool anbieten. In der Beschreibung steht nur eine normale Badewanne :). Dies war auch bei Ihrer Buchung der Fall.
Was das WLAN angeht, hat der Sturm tatsächlich das Kabel beschädigt und wir mussten auf das Eingreifen unseres Betreibers warten: Orange Polska, der aufgrund der großen Anzahl ähnlicher Meldungen in dieser Zeit leider nicht zu schnell war. Ich hoffe jedoch, dass die von uns gefundene Lösung mit einem WLAN-Extender Ihnen den Zugang zum Internet ermöglicht hat.
Wenn es um Sehenswürdigkeiten geht, ist es schade, dass Sie mich nicht danach gefragt haben: Der Adlerhorstweg mit mittelalterlichen Burgen auf Jurafelsen verläuft in einem Umkreis von etwa 20-30 Minuten, es gibt die Błędowska-Wüste, Sie können Sie ein Silberbergwerk in Tarnowskie Góry oder ein Kohlebergwerk in Zabrze besuchen. In Kattowitz gibt es ein sehr interessantes, interaktives Schlesisches Museum, das die Geschichte dieser Gegend schön illustriert. Andere Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie die Brauerei in Tychy oder eine noch ältere Brauerei in Żywiec ...
Ich hoffe, Sie kommen bei besserem Wetter wieder hierher :), um zu entdecken, was das lokale Land zu bieten hat. Herzlichkeit für Ihr gesamtes Team.

Schöne ruhige Unterkunft
Liebe Joanna,
vielen lieben Dank für die wundervolle Woche im schönen Czekanka. Auch wenn das Wetter zum baden gehen nicht optimal war, hatten wir 7 schöne Tage. Vor allem der Wintergarten wurde sowohl zum gemeinsamen Frühstück, als auch in den Abendstunden gern genutzt. Auch die vorhandene Tischtennisplatte wurde häufig verwendet.
Über Ihre freundliche und aufgeschlossene Art haben wir uns sehr gefreut und werden sicher noch einmal wieder kommen.

Super vakantie!
We hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad!! De woning is erg groot en heel gezellig ingedeeld. Het privé zwembad was echt ideaal met het warme weer. De eigenaren zijn enorm vriendelijk en hielpen direct als we een vraag hadden. Een echte aanrader! Het enige nadeel zijn de muggen maar ja dat is logische midden in het bos.

Traumpool in tollem Garten
Wir hatten eine super Woche in Joannas Haus. Das Wetter war jeden Tag schön sonnig, wodurch wir den Pool sehr viel nutzen konnten. Die Außenanlage ist wirklich traumhaft, nur die Mücken können nervtötend sein.
Die Einrichtung war schön gemütlich, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, besonders der Kühlschrank mit integriertem Eisspender haben das warme Wetter noch angenehmer gestaltet.
Alles in allem hatten wir eine super Woche.

Spędziliśmy cudowny tydzień z rodziną: babcia i dziadek, mama i tata, ciocia , dwie dziewczynki. Pogoda była średnia, ale i tak było bardzo miło. Dom wyposażony wspaniale i pięknie urządzony. Super basen dla dzieci i dorosłych. Przemili i uczynni gospodarze. Pan Zbigniew zagrał dla nas piękny koncert akordeonowy. Ciekawa okolica: dla dzieci atrakcją była hodowla alpak i park z placem zabaw w Siewierzu. Blisko Ogrodzieniec i Bobolice. Szkoda, że czas tak szybko biegnie i nasz pobyt dobiegł końca. Chętnie przyjedziemy tu znowu. Dziękujemy!

Séjour inoubliable
Joanna est une hôtesse très sympathique et disponible. Elle nous a conseillé sur des visites et nous a même emmené chez un charcutier où tout était très bon.
La maison est magnifique un havre de paix à une heure de cracow ou rien ne manque.
Nous avons pu profité de la piscine, jouer au Ping pong et à la pétanque ! Merci au papa pour l entretien de la piscine.
Si vous voulez visiter la région de Cracovie n’ hésitez plus... rendez vous chez joanna
Et aussi vous détendre en pleine nature !

Ein wundervolles Haus mit phänomanaler Umgebung
Das Haus ist sehr rustikal und mit allem ausgestattet. Es gab Bettzeug und Handtücher.
Allerdings war das Holz für den Kamin bei 8 Personen und 5 Tagen sehr rar bemessen und auch Geschrirrspülsalz und -Klarspüler waren nicht ausreichend verfügbar. Das Spa-Bad entließ nur lauwarmes Wasser ohne Sprudel und Nachts wurde das Haus zum Jahreswechsel zu einer großen Kühlkammer.
Sonst war es wirklich ein wundervolles Traumhäuschen mit vielen kleinen Details und Möglichkeiten jede Ecke des Hauses zu entdecken.
Gerne wieder.

A lovely situated, comfortable datcha.
We had a splendid holiday, swimming in the great and well maintained swimming pool and taking walks in the woods behind the house. Also we could made a fire in the evening for a holiday feeling ( there were enough dry logs). Joanna and her daugther and father were very friendly and helpfull..The datcha was also child-friendly and nicely decorated. We got nice tips from Joanna to visit interesting places.we can recommend this traditional home to everyone.who want to have a nice time in Polen. Thank you very much Joanna and family and greetings from your guests from The Netherlands..

Uniek, riant, en sfeervol
We hebben lang moeten zoeken om ergens niet te ver van Krakau een leuk vakantieverblijf met zwembad te vinden voor 8 personen dat ook nog sfeervol is. Zowel voor de volwassenen als de kinderen voldeed ons verblijf hier volledig aan al onze hoge verwachtingen.
Daarbij was het contact met de vrouw des huizes allerhartelijkst en gastvrij.
Aan te bevelen voor welke groepssamenstelling dan ook.

Unique group residence in the south of Poland
Slowly Poland seems to be discovered by tourists and yes, for places like Krakow it already goes way too fast. Already so crowded. Anyway, Poland is not prepared for this invasion and it cost me a lot of time to find a charming villa for more than one family and, that was a condition, including a swimming pool for especially the kids.
With the eight of us, 4 adults and 4 kids between 4 and 14 years old, we stayed at this absolutely fabulous house of Joanna and Bernard. We were all amazed by the nice and intimate atmosphere of the house and all the many rooms and spaces in it.
The quiet dacha in the woods is a very good base to visit yet underrated Katowice, very touristic but still beautiful Krakow and several interesting smaller villages in the neighborhood, and at end of the day there was always the swimming pool. Also necessary for all of us because, although we all thought Poland is no Spain or Italy, it was just between 25 and 35 degrees all the time.
During our stay we meanwhile experienced the hospitality and good services of the owner, Joanna, a very likeable and flexible woman.

Great big villa in a secluded setting
We spent a week here - two adults and two teenage kids. The house was more than big enough for us (it's big!) and had everything we needed. The pools were great and the location very peaceful - secluded and surrounded by woodland.
The owners live in a similar villa on the other side of the pool. They're very friendly and helpful.
Do note there's a requirement for both a 500 Euro Damage deposit and a further 80 Euro Cleaning deposit. These need to be paid in cash when you arrive, but you do (of course) get the cash back at the end of the trip so long as you haven't broken anything of left the place in a mess.
The house was generally clean and tidy, although we did find a few things around the place which needed a wipe - no big deal though.
All in all, a great villa.
