About this property

Private house in town center in quiet neighborhood. Free parking

Nice old, but modern house in dead and street. That’s why is very quiet. Just 5 minutes walk to town center and 35 minutes by train to Amsterdam. Free parking in the street between 20:00-09:00 hours. Other hours just a few minutes walking from the house and also free of charge. There are three bedrooms, 2 double beds and 2 single beds. You can find everything you need in the kitchen-living. Bed linen and towels are free of charge. The house has a small front yard and a nice sunny back yard/patio. In the summer, every friday the famost cheese market from Alkmaar. You can also rent our BICYCLES (2) The beach is just 6 km away with a nice bike tour. Or rent a small boat to explore the many canals of our town. Ofcourse you can stay home and enjoy Netflix with rainy weather.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Lovely home and great location

This rental had everything we needed. Very comfy and clean, and great location. Our host was so nice! I would not recommend this for people with mobility issues, the staircase is quite steep, but other than that we loved it.

Great Place

We stayed here to attend a family reunion, a five-minute walk away. We found the house extremely comfortable and our hosts were fabulous. The center for shopping and eating is a 15-minute walk, 10 minutes to the grocery store. The canal with a walking path is two minutes. The train to Amsterdam is nearby.

Beautiful home in a fantastic location. Immaculate, very clean with everything we could need, a much loved family home.In street parking is available directly outside the property using a time card which gives 3 hours. You can change the time as often as you like to allow you to park all day, but this would have to be done every 3 hours. If you are going to be out all day the hosts provide an address where you can park for free, but it’s 10 minutes walk from the house. We had no problem at all as we used the car during the day.Alkmaar is gorgeous with plenty to do within walking distance of the house.

Es war richtig schön. Alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Wir wurden von Henk empfangen und bekamen alles gezeigt inkl. Tipps für die Stadt. Diese ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar inkl. Fahrradverleih. Und mit dem Fahrrad kann man dann z. B. an die Nordsee fahren. Im Hof kann man schön draußen sitzen. Und weil es bei unserer Abreise so stark regnete, hat Henk uns sogar zum Bahnhof gefahren. Dafür nochmals vielen, vielen Dank.

Zentrumsnahes Haus in absolut ruhiger Lage

es war alles stimmig. Das Haus im Zentrum von Alkmaar, alles fussläufig zu erreichen. Möglichkeit mit dem Fahrrad ans Meer zu fahren. Die Lage war total ruhig. Sachgasse, Gerne wieder wenn es zeitlich passt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Häuschen ist sehr zentral gelegen und mit dem Fahrrad erreicht man alles in wenigen Minuten. Supermarkt in der Nähe, sowie viele Einkaufsläden zum Bummeln. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man im Alltag benötigt.
