Good location, good views over the surrounding countryside.

Good location, good views over the surrounding countryside. Cottage was a great place to stay even in the bad weather we had a good time and the dog loved the walks in the area. Cottage was clean tidy and a nice garden area. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely cottage not as clean as maybe it should have been due to Covid.

Lovely cottage not as clean as maybe it should have been due to Covid. Beds very comfy. Garden excellent although should have taken my secateurs with me to walk into the small wood adjoining the cottage. Kettle very temperamental. Great views. Weather good too which is always a bonus. The cottage is lovely, cosy, well equipped, the beds in twin room very comfortable, also the end bedroom, the middle bedroom not so much. The extension is lovely, the lounge suite is dreadful. The garden is nice but not fully dog friendly as one of our dogs got out and onto the main road so that she could have been killed as the road is fast.

Lovely quiet spot in the middle of the countryside.

Lovely quiet spot in the middle of the countryside. Excellent for discovering the Solway Coast and only 14 minutes drive away from Dumfries. Good Wi-Fi connection. Spent most of the time we were at the cottage in the kitchen/diner as we had the patio doors open to appreciate the fields around us. Only about half a mile from Caerlaverock Castle and the Wetland Centre. Came back very relaxed after our time away.
