We had a lovely time staying here, the cottage is well equipped, clean, fairly comfortable and tastefully furnished, the log burner certainly being a welcome addition at this time of year and creates a cosy atmosphere. It is pleasantly situated in a pretty village just four/five miles from the beach, which suited us, as we like a quiet location. We enjoyed some local walks and visited East Runton and Overstrand beaches, which were not busy. Would definitely stay again.

This is a very comfortable cottage. It was a delight to stay in self-catering accommodation that is so well-equipped .
The nearest amenities are in Sheringham as there are none in the village.

We had a glorious fortnight at Primrose Cottage, coinciding with some amazing weather. The cottage is a great position for visiting some of the best beaches in Norfolk: Holkham, to the west, and Sea Palling, to the east, each about 45 minutes away and Overstrand just 15 minutes. Our visit to the Gunton Arms was a highlight (and we took a taxi there and back, £11 each way). And the Wheatsheaf, two or three miles away from Gresham at West Beckham, also good to drop in for a pint after the beach. We did two long walks from the cottage which the dog loved. Memories of driving along very narrow, country roads, lined with ancient oaks and bordered by golden fields. The cottage itself is a typical flint stone, slightly enlarged, well decorated with an exquisite cottage garden.

Located down winding lanes (if you don't like these don't go to Norfolk!) only 10 mins drive from Sheringham. Gresham is a lovely quiet place . The cottage is easy to find with space for 2 cars off road. It has a beautiful garden with garden table & chairs on small patio + small lawn. The cottage has been modernised to a good standard without losing its character .Living/dining room was lovely ,good picture on TV and good WiFi. Nice kitchen with everything we needed. Small separate WC and a lovely clean tidy bathroom with a good shower. We really enjoyed staying at Primrose cottage and can't think of any negatives and look forward to a return trip.

My only criticism would be now it is a bit colder the night storage heaters done quite have the muscle and it gets cold in the eve , portable heater very useful but meant bringing it up and downstairs.i know there is a wood burner , but we have one at home so didn’t really feel like messing about getting logs etc
Otherwise couldn’t fault the property
