Lovely cottage in a very nice rural location

Jill was extremely attentive to us, solving quickly a problem with the key safe and even mading up for the inconvenience with two wine bottles of wine.The house is very well equipped and the surroundings are charming (it is at the end of the village, rigth next to the old church grounds and a river).

We loved our stay here.

We loved our stay here. Very warm greeting from Jill at the start set the tone for a friendly relaxing holiday. The cottage itself was well equipped and despite the cold weather, it was warm enough indoors to remain very comfortable. Visited the local pub at the end of the drive and the Social Club a couple of times and immediately felt part of the village as everyone was so friendly and we chatted to several of the locals each evening. Good base for visits to Lapworth, Warwick, Leamington Spa, the longest aqueduct, Stratford, Stow, broadway, bourton-on-the-water. Shame the weather wasn’t better as we would have loved to take in a few more walks but we cannot fault the cottage, owners or the location

Lovely place to visit.

Lovely place to visit. Owner lives in the Vicarage next door (huge shared garden) and was super helpful and friendly - really cared that we were OK, comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Our visit was during Covid and we were very impressed by the lengths that the owners had gone to in order to deep clean between bookings and indeed when talking to us. (A side note - Arrival times are currently slightly later than usual and departure time slightly earlier than usual in order to allow additional time for serious cleaning.) Cottage finished both internally and externally with class and flair. Jill and her husband extremely friendly and helpful. Absolutely lovely location within easy reach of Stratford and a number of NT and other interesting places to visit. Would certainly book again in a few years time.
