small and perfectly formed for an active family holiday! this is our second stay here, and for the price, we dont think you can beat it. Yes, it's a small cottage and the stairs are an adventure (! - we recommend channelling your inner sailor and coming down backwards!), but the beds are comfy after a day exploring, the back garden private for a bbq and enclosed for the dogs, the pub x2 doors down is welcoming and has a hearty menu and if you want to stay in, the kitchen has every thing you need to prepare food at home. the cottage now also has wifi to keep the teen entertained after tea time..we'll very probably be back for another year!
The property is small and tidy in a nice rural.location which is mostly quite but on a busy road also no wifi which was a bit of a problem otherbthan that the l9cation was great
A very pleasant, comfortable and well equipped cottage in the heart of Porchfied. Superb location for getting around the island. Brilliant for accessing the island's cycling routes.
Obviously a well used lane for commuters to Cowes and Newport. The main downside is the flight of stairs which are the narrowest I've encountered and best descended backwards. On the plus side the side gate and conservatory presents a secure room to house a bike. The pub is 2 doors away and although offering a basic menu is so convenient.
