Teal Cottage is the perfect choice for a family seaside holiday or a romantic couples escape at any time of year.. 2 steps to entrance.

Ground Floor:

Living/dining room: (1 Step), Freeview, DVD Player, DVDs, Electric Woodburner

Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 2: Bunk (3ft) Beds (Children Only)

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating (underfloor in shower room), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Small screened patio with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only.. This beautifully presented, semi-detached cottage, sits just a short stroll away from the sandy beach at Instow and its many highly acclaimed restaurants and bars. With its long promenade and sand dunes, Instow offers something for everyone. The area is a must for watersports, sailing enthusiasts and fishermen, whilst walkers and cyclists can enjoy the famous Tarka Trail, which passes through the village. Dining out is a real treat as Instow has an excellent selection of restaurants and cafés, many overlooking the estuary with views towards Lundy Island.

You can take the ferry from Instow to Appledore on the opposite side of the estuary, where young and old will enjoy crabbing off the quay. The wide golden sandy beaches of Northam Burrows and Westward Ho! are popular with surfers, and are just 4 miles away. Bideford, only 2 miles away, and the RHS Rosemore, 10 miles, offers a plethora of amenities and boat trips to Lundy Island. Golf, fishing and horse riding are available locally, or for family fun The Ultimate Adventure, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure parks are close by. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 350 yards.

Excellent property

Lovely house in a great position, had everything needed for our stay. Communication with the owner was good. Had read comments about the parking space but we had no problems with seat ateca. Would recommend this house to anybody.

Teal Cottage

A great property, lovely internal decor and furnishings, with only a small outside area. A very well stocked kitchen with all the essentials for home cooking if required. Car parking on site, tight but adequate .Sadly we were unable to access Wi-Fi . Only a short walk to the large sandy beach, perfect for families and dog walkers. Hope to revisit this property.

We had a very good week at Teal Cottage. It is very attractive, clean and well equipped. The beach and the Tarka trail are just a few minutes away and there are several good eating places nearby. There is also an excellent delicatessen and cafe just round the corner. Instow itself is conveniently located for visiting many lovely places. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Great little spot from which to enjoy exploring the local area on foot or in the car.

Great little spot from which to enjoy exploring the local area on foot or in the car. Smart, cosy and well equipped cottage. Sun on the terrace over lunchtime makes it a nice spot to return to from the deli! Effort had been made to put additional cleaning in place this summer, although the PVC covered cushions were rather unappealing! Would have preferred the stair gates had been removed as we didn't need them, and made the stairs feel a little awkward. Otherwise everything was great.
