Marvellously peaceful setting in fantastic countryside.House has plenty of space and stayed cool during thr hot weather.Sophie was easy to deal with and we greatly enjoyed our stay
Great place, lovely spot in the countryside for a peaceful holiday. The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need for an easy comfortable and relaxing stay. With local walks on the doorstep, canoeing, high wires, lakes and the beautiful countryside of Swiss Normandy just down the road we had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. Thank you Sophie and Fred for a wonderful holiday.
We (a family of five, all adults) loved our stay at this lovely holiday home. We had a lot of space, very cosy places to sit inside the house and outside, to read and chat. There was good equipment to cook dinners and so on. The area around the house itself was peaceful. It was also a good central location to explore inland Normandy.
On the few rainy days we had it was nice to be in the hoise, we could use the fireplace.
Beautiful made home! Very nice owner (Daughter in this case), and good clear communication. Quiet and a lot off space, loved the surrounding of nature. The house has everything you need, and yes it is sometimes nice to have no TV or internet :) Just enjoy nature and the outdoors.
Take your own sheets/sleepingbag and pillow whit you, it is more comfy.
the house was quite big. we were with 8 people but you can easily sleep here with 10 or 12 people. the kitchen was well equipped and the house had everything we needed. the garden around the house was huge, had a hammock and a very nice terrace. the owner was very welcoming and helpful. the surrounding area is beautiful and perfect for a walk. the city of briouze was about a 10 min drive and is perfect to get groceries and baguette in the morning. the city of Caen was a 1 and a half hour drive and the WWII museum is very impressive. lac de rabonges is a 15 min drive and is perfect to go canoeing.
Overall: 10/10 we had a great time and would definitely recommend.
