We just fell in love with the simplicity of the town and the area. We also love the mountains and the abundant wildlife of the area.

We had a wonderful time here with 3 adults & 4 kids (ages 7-15). From roasting marshmallows to coffee on the deck to cozying up with a movie downstairs to exploring Stewart & Hyder, we were at home in all the best ways.
Great location, everything you need
Had a wonderful time at this rental in Stewart. The house was super comfortable and had everything we needed.. as well as lots of comfy perks like outdoor patio and bbq! The beds were also very comfortable. Would stay there again.
Thank you for the kind review. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay in Stewart!
A wonderful stay in a scenic area
We, a family of two adults and two teenagers, stayed at Nanci´s lovely Guesthouse in late September. When we arrived, the house was welcoming warm due to the cleaner put on the central heating which was appreciated due to the temperature outside was (of course in this time of the year) a bit cold. We had everything we needed during our stay and when we did not find something Nanci immediately provided help. Another thing which made us feel that she really wants her guests to enjoy their stay was that she described everything (e.g. electronical stuff) very well.
The patio upstairs (where there is one entrance) provided a well-functioning BBQ grill. During the nights there has not been any noise from the street (although not having been located on the main street through Stewart, the town in total is very quiet) or from neighbors.
We used the days to drive over to Hyder (especially Fish Creek) or to take a look at the various Glaciers in the area of Stewart. It was great to be able to sit around the fireplace when getting back to the Guesthouse again.
To sum up, we can highly recommend this accommodation for people who want to enjoy nature or just want to relax away from it all in a well-furnished house.
Thank you Sabine and family for the lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your visit to Stewart!
Stewart is a small town located on the Portland Canal in Northwestern British Columbia. Stewart is also a 5 minute drive from Hyder, Alaska. The town is an old mining town that has heli-skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months and abundant bear, wildlife and nature viewings, especially in the summer months. The 5th largest glacier in North America, Salmon Glacier ia a 45 minute drive from the property. Stewart is a beautiful spot to get away from it all and connect with nature.
