Nice place to enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay
Had a good time staying at this cabin. Less than an hour to red river gorge and Cumberland falls which was where we planned our trip to. I would stay here if we visit this area again.
It's overall nice needs to be updated just a tad.very quiet and way out!!❤️
Really good inside, and quiet on the outside.
We followed Debbie's directions and drove right to it. Computer directions would probably have gotten us lost. Google directions have got me in trouble more than once. We took a walk on the road for a mile or two and saw two deer and two turkeys. The inside of the home was very clean. I would recommend this to anyone who wants quiet, no planes, trains, or automobiles. Debbie brought us a large umbrella when we arrived because it started raining when we got there. Overall, it's a good place to relax.
We had a great time staying at this cabin. The surroundings were so peaceful and quiet, a perfect place to retreat. While the cabin was nothing fancy and will benefit from some updates the owner already plans on doing, it was absolutely adequate for meeting our needs. Debbie, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful!
A nice get-a-way
The property is located off the beaten path for a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. There are horses grazing across the street. We stayed here for nearby access to Daniel Boone National Forest at a good price. It is a spacious 1 bed / 1 bath place with plenty of sitting room in the kitchen / living room. Like the owner's description said, it isn't the Ritz but everything is functional. There is a window a/c unit but we were there in November when it wasn't needed. All the basics are provided. Pictures are accurate.
Clean - away from it all location
We used this cabin after 4-wheeling at Wildcat - about 10 miles away. It is out- a- ways on back roads but was perfect for sitting around a fire and not having to worry about noise. Very clean. Had all the basics for a nice stay. Plenty of room to park the cars and pull the trailers around. Hard to find once you get close - does need a sign or something especially when it is night, but I called the owner who lives just a few houses up and she directed me and came over and showed us around. One bedroom/1 bath but air mattresses and linens provided. Owner was ready to please! There is no restaurants nearby except MAYBE a pizza joint. Would recommend bringing food to cook if after dark.
