Nice apartment, renovated living room and newly painted  kitchin. Could do with a new fridge as the current one is missing shelves, meaning storage place.En suite bathroom needs some TLC, the toilet seat is loose and keeps sliding to the side, the toilet runs if the botton does not return prober, the shower cabin doors doesn't close prober and the floor is woobely. New shower head fitted while we were there.Second bathroom has a newer toilet but the shower cabin need TLC and maybe a larger door way for eldery people as does the en suite. Overall the water pressure was not great.Owner and or caretaker knows that.Beds with newer madresses in the bed rooms.With aircondition and that is great when the nights are 25c or more.Can sometimes be noicy from the bar or neighbors on the balconys at night but it was not intolerable. Pool area was great.Good distance to the beach, the bakery and the promenade with restaurants and bars.If arriving with your car, parking is a night mare.No parking spot in the basement is available so you have to be lucky to find a parking space close ro the apartment. But all in all we had a very nice 2 week holiday in the apartment and Praia da Rocha.And we would rent the apartment again in the future.

Less than expected

I would give this a half star if I could. While the pictures showed a cute apartment it was less than that. We were told we would be greeted by the manager of the apartment, but never saw him although my husband had several talks with him. There was no paperwork welcoming us to the complex and what was available or what was not like no WiFi. We didn't figure out the lights in the hallway until we had been there several days. The furniture was very old and uncomfortable. There were few linens and one bed was made with too small a sheet so it rolled up and eventually ripped. The pool was non functional although it is listed. There was no dish soap for dishes, no replacement bags for trash. The noise in the complex at night was ridiculous and would start at 3AM and go on forever. Parking was a nightmare initially, but that resolved. Our shower head was broken, the clothes washer was broken for the whole stay so we had to use the local laundromat. The utensils for cooking were in terrible shape, so cooking just couldn't happen. Over all a gross disappointment and not worth the money. For older adults who have higher expectations about where they are staying this does not fit the bill. How this unit passes a VRBO standard is beyond me. If this is Portimão's VRBO standard then this is disappointing. Don't waste your money on this unit. There are better available.

Boa localização, perto da praia. Piscina e área de piscina ótima. Apartamento com boas condições. Como sugestão, acho que seria benéfico para um apartamento que suporta até 8 pessoas ter uma máquina de lavar loiça.

Das Apartement bat die perfekte Lage weil es sind nur 8min zu Praia da Rocha aber trotzdem ist es nicht in dieser stressigen Hauptstrasse mit all den Bars.Dusche könnte mal erneuert werden aber sonst alles einwandfrei!! Pool super schön ind sauber!

Great location, great value and great host

We stayed here for 5 nights in the middle of June. It was perfect for the festival we were attending in Praia Da Rocha. Literally a 10 minute walk. The apartment was clean and spacious. There were 4 of us and although the apartment can sleep 8, I would say the 4 of us was a perfect fit. We had a lot of room. Plenty of storage. Joao was the perfect host. Available when we needed him but didn't encroach or bother us otherwise. He and his wife were warm and hospitable hosts and we hope to see them again. We were very grateful to find such a perfect apartment for our requirements. Thank you.

Inexistência de contacto; anúncio não corresponde à verdade

Em primeiro lugar é de salientar a experiência super negativa que tivemos em relação ao contacto com o proprietário. Foi-nos fornecido o contacto do senhor pelo VRBO, um número francês, ao qual este nunca respondeu. Nem no whatsapp - as mensagens eram entregues, mas nunca tivemos qualquer resposta. No dia da chegada ao apartamento, continuamos sem qualquer tipo de contacto por parte do proprietário, que nunca nos informou de como haveríamos de recolher as chaves. Após várias tentativas de chamada, e mensagens através do VRBO, o senhor lá respondeu, dando-nos o contacto da pessoa que nos iria entregar as chaves. Isto só aconteceu em cima da hora do check-in. Em segundo lugar, a descrição do anúncio não corresponde à realidade do apartamento. Quando chegámos, reparámos que as piscinas não estavam a ser utilizadas e vazias-, sendo que o anúncio refere a existência de piscina. E concluímos que as piscinas já se encontravam assim há alguns anos. No anúncio diz ainda que existe uma receção (receção essa, onde pensei que iriamos obter as chaves inicialmente), o que também não se verificou. O edifício já não tem receção há vários anos. Outro aspeto desagradável foi a questão do estacionamento, onde nos deparámos com alguns carros abandonados e aparentemente roubados. Por fim, outra questão foi a TV, à qual não tivemos acesso a semana inteira e que também nada nos foi informado - estão a ocorrer obras no prédio e determinados apartamentos encontram-se sem antena. Relativamente ao apartamento em si, é um espaço agradável, no entanto, apesar de o AC estar lá e dar para ligar, ele não funciona, isto é, o ar sai à temperatura ambiente. Aspeto positivo desta experiência: o café do senhor Mário que existe no edifício - o Sol Bar.

Très joli appartement bien agencé et agréable. Bien situé par rapport au bord de mer. Toutefois nous avons été déçu et assez gêné par le bruit très matinal des travaux de la nouvelle résidence en construction qui se trouve juste en face ... hôte accessible et sympathique.

Grand Appartement, résidence mal entretenue

L’appartement est grand, fonctionnel et propre. Il est bien situé à proximité des plages et des restaurants. La piscine est hors d’état et visiblement depuis plusieurs mois mais le propriétaire ne nous en informe qu’une fois la réservation payée. Ce n’est pas très honnête d’autant plus que nous avions choisi cet appartement notamment pour sa piscine.

Apartamento espaçoso e bem equipado. Suficiente para seis pessoas, não mais. Perto da praia e de supermercados e restaurantes. Pontos negativos: falta de estacionamento, não existência de WiFi e falta de ar condicionado, o que dificultou o descanso, pois tínhamos que dormir com as janelas abertas, havendo barulho em alguns dos dias. O edifício está um pouco degradado e a havia falta de limpeza.

O apartamento é espaçoso e a localidade excelente, tendo cafés, restaurantes, supermercados, etc a uma curta distância. O condomínio tem duas piscinas (uma para crianças e outra para adultos) que estão em óptimas condições de utilização. A praia fica a cerca de 7 a 10 minutos a pé. A única situação que pode levantar alguns problemas é o estacionamento, sendo que, no início de julho, se conseguia com alguma facilidade. No entanto, em altura de pico de afluência este poderá ser problemático.

Agradável, mas....

Estadia em modo geral bastante agradável, apartamento bastante espaçoso e acolhedor. Prédio e piscina em boas condições, mas a falta de estacionamento para tantos apartamentos causa bastante transtorno, especialmente para quem vai com crianças pequenas, tem que se deixar o carro longe ou em cima passeios. Esta situação pelo menos no mês de Agosto.
