DRYRIDGE ESTATE - Sunrise Lodge

Sunrise Lodge is perfect for a place to relax and unwind and experience the magic of mountain life. Nestled on the edge of our boutique vineyard with magnificent escarpment views across the tranquil Megalong Valley, it offers an unforgettable, self-catered accommodation experience. The lodge boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fabulous spa bath and a close proximity to amazing wines!

Luxury in the mountains

Architecturally designed, Sunrise Lodge comprises two large bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom, a spacious living area and fully equipped kitchen. An open log fire warms the whole lodge in winter and the bathrooms are complete with under-floor heating. Double glazing retains all of this warmth Ceiling fans are installed in all rooms for the summer.

The lodge kitchen is complete, with generous bench space, large fridge and all the appliances you could desire to ensure holiday cooking is a pleasure and not a chore.

The spacious deck includes a large outdoor table, chairs and a gas BBQ for outdoor entertaining.

You can relax at any time in the indoor hot tub from which there are fabulous views of the valley. Bath robes are supplied



Enjoy the vineyard and the Estate

Half the estate is covered in conservation-protected Megalong Granite Forest which is home to an abundance of native flora and wildlife. It is a delight to explore, with picnic spots in the vineyard and by Megalong Creek with its clear water and sandy bottom.

The Lodge is of course stocked with our exceptional DRYRIDGE wine and the cellar is available to guests for additional purchases. Become a Club Meg Member and take advantage of special accommodation discounts and special wine prices.

I absolutely loved it. The accomodation has everything I was looking for in a mountains with great views; open fireplace and a spa. The balcony has amazing views over the vineyard with the mountain escarpment providing an impressive backdrop.Perfect for a romantic getaway - a casual BBQ on the balcony with some good wine followed by chocolate fondue in front of the fireplace and then dessert wine in the spa - how can you possibly go wrong?

Peaceful, relaxing, perfect for a recharge!

Amazing Views, everything you could possibly need to spoil yourself and the one you love. Spa, comfy bed, open fire, full kitchen, the product of the vine waiting to be sampled plus easy access to the six foot track to walk off the wine and cheese platter from the night before. Wish we could have stayed a week!

Our stay at Dryridge Estate was blissful. The view, the peace, the fresh air and the lovely cottage was just what our little family needed. We saw kangaroos, among many other forms of wildlife, and the sky at night was incredible.Barbara is a warm and friendly host, but left us to our own devices, so we felt relaxed and private in our cottage. We always knew that friendly help (and yummy wine!) was available if we needed it.What a great way to escape, unwind and relax. I would thoroughly recommend Dryridge Estate. We will be back without doubt!
