We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the home’s location, natural light, and overall cleanliness, and we appreciate your acknowledgment of the spacious kitchen and private neighborhood. We strive to create a comfortable and welcoming experience for all our guests, and we're sorry to hear that your stay was affected by several issues. I am not sure why you didn’t acknowledge that we texted you a house manual in advance, which included instructions for the fireplace, noting the remote was not functioning and could be operated manually. We understand that this was an inconvenience, but we always aim to provide clear communication ahead of time. This manual included all the information for the home WiFi, how to operate thermostats, Garbage disposal and things to do in the neighborhood (including restaurants, super markets and wine store) etc. We also sent over a long list of items an available at the house prior to your stay (specifically the kitchen). In terms of the sewer smell, it was unfortunate that this occurred during your stay, we walk our property before and after every rental. Right before your check in (same day) and after your check out (same day) this “smell” was not present. We also regret that there were issues with the TV functionality, and the ping-pong net. Upon our walk these items were also operating properly and we were actually surprised to find the table net completely torn when we returned to the home. As well as several dishes missing /broken (no big deal). The dishwasher full of dishes, spills all over the house and not to mention we also provided duraflame fire starters for the fire pit. We strive to be responsive to all guests, and it’s unfortunate that the back-and-forth didn’t meet expectations. We also do try to accommodate reasonable requests. but we ask for mutual understanding and respect when it comes to house rules and property expectations. I’m sorry we could not accommodate an early check in and late check out for you. Even with a new group coming in after you we were flexible enough and asked our cleaning team to come at a later time. Despite our efforts to provide clear instructions in advance, including the information about the fireplace, it became apparent that resolving issues was difficult. The frequency of inquiries—many regarding small or easily addressed matters—was not productive and created a stressful experience for both parties.
