Relaxing peaceful venue

Lovely house situated among the trees. Good location, close to Alma Bay. Very peaceful and quiet with lots of beautiful bird life.

Love it.

We have stayed here before and love it. It backs onto the national there are so many wildlife interactions. Birds, koalas, rock wallabies. Walking distance (10 mins) to beautiful beach and hotel with a swimming pool.

Wonderful spot

Magical wonderland as creek running under house with daily visits from wild birdlife. Straight out of a fairy tale, never wanted to leave.

peaceful

the location is quiet, safe and physically beautiful. The house has everything needed including wifi. it is extremely spacious. upstairs open plan bedroom would not suit all but was perfectly adequate for just the two of us. Privacy may be an issue for more than one couple. we absolutely loved our morning breakfasts with the wildlife.

Holiday house surrounded by bushland

Loved the serenity, broken only by the morning chorus of birdsong. Walking access to beaches, buses, shops and bush walking trails. Good household bathroom, laundry, cooking and dining facilities. Comfy beds and plenty of fresh air. A relaxing carefree holiday home. Thank you Eleanor

Magic Haven

Lovely oasis, situated among the trees with lots of bird life around and some very cute rock wallabies. We witnessed kookaburras, honey eaters, butcher birds to name a few all coming to have a look at us on the verandah. Just magic. House is comfortable with lots of space for relaxing, only 7 minute stroll to Alma Bay. A wonderful, peaceful spot to unwind.

far away and close to everything.

lovely property set amongst the environment. Very private and quiet... off main roads but only a short walk to ammenities and transport. Felt like we were the only ones on the island when we were at the house. everything was well set up and there are plenty of thoughful additional activities for the kids to chill out with once we got back from the beach. They loved exploring the area around the house and the regular wildlife visits from the birds. Great location, great house, great hosts. Will book again

Forest stay with plenty of space!

Relaxing stay in Arcadia

A lovely spot, in the bush but we could walk down to the lovely Alma bay. Just have to watch the kookaburra who expected breakfast!

A beautiful house set in a fantastic environment surrounded by trees, kookaburras and other animals.

Great experience. The house had everything you needed including warmth and character. My highlight, other than feeding the friendly kookaburras was spotting an awake koala which was only about 300m from the house up the rocky dry creek bed.

Great for children. Disproportionate safety deposit made us uncertain and hypersensitive about damage an accidents. Probably need to be very clear about what it’s for... wouldn’t stay again based on this

A lovely home with everything you need in an amazing natural setting

I would highly recommend Samsara as a holiday rental to anyone looking for a relaxing private retreat. It is in a central location on Magnetic Island, a short walk to Alma Bay and a short drive to any of the main bays where you can find restaurants and shops. The house is set amongst natural bushland with great balconies to observe the wildlife. The house felt homely and inviting and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. My children loved swimming in the creek that ran next to the house and exploring the property. A highlight was the kookaburra who made regular visits around mealtimes. Eleanor was a great host who was easy to contact and gave us lots of useful information about the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Samsara. It was a great property that had everything our family needed for a wonderful stay on Magnetic Island.

Fantastic house amongst the trees!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - a fantastic, clean and quiet little home amongst the trees. We especially enjoyed breakfast with the local kookaburras. Eleanor was a fantastic host, I highly recommend staying here, we would like definitely like to return!

Adjacent to the National Park set high amongst the trees, a seasonal creek with rock pool during the wet season & wildlife visiting daily including very friendly kookaburras, shy rock wallabies, koalas, possums, curlews & some amazing butterflies.

A true bushland experience while being in the peaceful village of Arcadia & a 12 minute walk to the island's best swimming beach.
A 20 minute walk to the Geoffrey Bay snorkel trail.
A 10 minute walk in either direction to the shops/eateries/hotel.
