This beautiful new construction farmhouse sits on three and a half gorgeous acres in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Located in Candler, NC you are only a short drive to downtown Asheville, the famed Biltmore Estate, and all that the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer. With two bedrooms, two baths, and an outdoor hot tub, this farmhouse is the perfect getaway for couples or small families.

Relaxing getaway

My wife and I had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The house is so nicely decorated and comfortable, and not to mention the view is absolutely breathtaking.

Relaxing stay in the country hills

Perfect location spot overlooking the hills. Saw some deer, turkeys, and lovely mountain sunrises. Location was quiet yet central to all things Asheville and Blue Ridge/Smokey Mountains. Loved our stay and figuring out when to book again!

Perfect for us

Great little place on a grassy hill with wide open views of the surrounding hills/mountains. It was a perfect place for our young kids to play outside and enjoy the hot tub in the morning and evenings. Easy drive to Builtmore and other local attractions.

Reunion with College Friends

My friend and were pleased with the accommodations. Super clean and comfortable beds. We wished that had been able to stay longer. Very beautiful setting to observe the fall colors and wildlife that appeared around the cottage. The cottage is located in a quiet area but not far from all the activities we had planned. We hope to stay again in the cottage when we are in the area.

Perfect!

We had the perfect anniversary getaway at this adorable home. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. The views were stunning and had daily visits from deer, turkeys and bunnies. We even watched a hot air balloon from the patio. We are out a few times and had a romantic grilled dinner on the patio another night. Just what we needed! Thanks for sharing your home!

Perfect!

We absolutely loved this little house! My husband and I and our four young children stayed the weekend and it was great. We saw deer and turkey every day. The view was beautiful. We could see many neighbors without leaves on the trees, but I imagine anytime other than winter it feels very secluded. The inside of the house was very nice. I especially liked the hardware and more high end touches. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Each bedroom had enough space to include a cot for our three year old and a pack and play for our baby. We will most certainly be staying here again on our next Asheville visit!

Lovely "rural" setting minutes from the city

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. The location was convenient to everything "city" yet felt very rural. I saw deer and turkeys every day and stepped out the door to the sound of birds singing. The views were spectacular and so relaxing. The house was modern and comfortable aside from a few bug issues that likely come with the country setting and were no big deal. The kitchen was well equipped. The patio was an enjoyable place to unwind, with a nice grill and hottub. The management company was quickly responsive to questions. Bottom line, I would definitely stay here again should I return to the area.

Peaceful weekend in Candler

This was a lovely place to stay! Very quiet, very beautiful grounds, and very well renovated and decorated. My mom and I appreciated the peacefulness and ease of check in (key pad). The setting is very peaceful and has terrific views over the hills. We enjoyed the daily turkey sightings (with their babies). The house is fully stocked (I want those dishes!!) and thoughtfully designed. Internet and cell service were great. Everything is new but it appears they've kept the original hardwood floors which are beautiful. We didn't need the W/D but they are new and full size. My mom liked the step-in shower and not having to climb many stairs to enter the house. Unfortunately, we had rain and clouds all the nights we were there or it would have been a perfect place to watch the Perseid meteors and see loads of stars. We have lots of family in the area but sometimes you need your own space - this will be our home away from home in the future!

really enjoyed the property - private, well furnished, easy access to the places we were visiting in Asheville. Check-in was easy, and in fact it was ready earlier than originally stated. The flock of turkeys walking the area made for an interesting accoutrement. Would stay there agin if I was heading down to Asheville.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful property. Private, well maintained, modern, beautiful. Upon arriving, discovered that hot tub (main reason for renting) was at 82 degrees. Called. No answer. Left voicemail. Then emailed and got an email back saying that the whole tub had to be drained to be cleaned for our arrival. So hot tub out for night 1 of 2. Then discovered that no TVs worked in the home. Again, no call, just email correspondence. No apology for either hot tub or TVs. Was instructed via email to unplug TVs for 30 seconds, then plug in. Then instructed to reset breaker box in basement. So this is what I spent the first hour or so doing of our stay. Didn't fix anything. We arrived at about 5--they emailed that someone would be out tomorrow to fix the TVs. Then the next day, huge storms came through and downed a tree across the driveway and knocked out power to the house and many in the area. Totally understand this. But I received no call, just an email that I happened to check on my phone as we were pulling in. They didn't check anything--I had to tell them the power was out. Guy was sent with a machete to cut the tree, waiting for chainsaw team. And this was about 6 p.m. AS far as TV situation, turns out this was the guy they had 6 p.m.....with two new remotes (this does nothing to fix HDMI boxes that are nonfunctional). So nobody had been sent to "fix" the TVs before 6 p.m. And no call. No power. Asked for a credit. Was told they would give me one (I had just asked as I was looking for a hotel 4th of July weekend)--response was "here's your credit, lock code will be changed in 45 minutes" Seriously. No calls. Not one. No apologies. And basically told to get out in 45 minutes.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay for our honeymoon! It is a great location and very clean cabin. Coffee, stevia, and creamer were included which were all very good! There are wild turkeys that run around the property, which didn’t bother us at all and were very entertaining. One did knock on the door which scared my husband a little only because it sounded like a person. We were not informed there would be yard work scheduled during our stay, or that there are neighbors that drive through the yard - which wouldn’t be a problem but there were many windows without blinds. The photos made it seem like a very private location, which it was, but sometimes it didn’t feel that way with people passing by. The dishwasher detergent compartment lid was also broken when we got there, but didn’t impede it from functioning. Overall it was a great vacation and we really enjoyed the grill and the hot tub.

Perfect Get-A-Way

Short getaway

When we pulled into the property, I was disappointed to see that the grass hadn’t been mowed in MONTHS. Some of the weeds were up to my waist. I booked this property specifically for the view. That ruined it for me and I was pretty upset. The building itself appears nice but the master bathroom door doesn’t even shut all the way. It gets stuck. I tried to use of the outlets beside the bed and the top socket didn’t even work, only the bottom one did so I was afraid to even use it as I don’t know if it was safe.

Just Beautiful!!

My family and I had a Fabulous time at the Farmhouse in Candler. The backyard view is just Beautiful!! The place is exactly like the pictures online. What you see is what you get. A bright, nice, clean, and cozy place. This was our very 1st booking from Vrbo and our overall experience is just Wonderful. The host was great at communication and fast reply. This will definitely be one of our go to places in the future. Thank You Brandon Towns for the wonderful experience.
