Willowvale Estate : 5 Star Farmstay - Pet Friendly!

Enchanting historic Willowvale Estate, 1890:

- 2 hours from Sydney
- 20mins West of Wolgan Valley Emirates Resort
- 35 mins West of Katoomba
- 10 mins West of Lithgow; and
- 30 mins East of Bathurst.

The property is embraced by nearly 22 acres of stunning land.

It offers wide open outdoor spaces - ideal for families. Please note: Parties are not allowed on the property

The Cottage is a quaint & cosy wooden building, which is built over two levels.

It is located circa 150 metres from the main Homestead, where our family resides.

The Cottage remains private as it is separated from the Homestead by a hedge, swimming pool, tennis court and paddock.

- Bedding sleeps up to 6 people.

COTTAGE CONFIGURATION:

DOWNSTAIRS:

- Bedroom 1: Queen Bed, 1 Single Day Bed

- Dining/ Lounge Room: Dining Table 6 person seating, Lounge 6 person seating.

- Kitchen: inc. Stove-top, Microwave, Fridge & Washing Machine as well as BBQ facilities

- Bathroom: Shower, Toilet, Hand-basin. Please note there is only one bathroom.

UPSTAIRS:

- Bedroom 2: 1 Double Bed

- Bedroom 3: 2 Single Beds


OTHER FACILITIES:

- All-weather tennis court,

- In ground swimming pool

- Undercover entertaining area

- Sauna

- Character filled workshop, stables and shearing shed

22 Foot Boat & Driver available for Charter during stay. Please contact us with any questions in relation to pricing and date availability.

Please note we are a working farm which includes sheep, cattle, dogs, chickens and crops. Machinery is also used on the farm from time to time including tractors motorbikes and utes. Come and enjoy the full farm experience.

Fabulous getaway

Beautiful property and a gorgeous location. The check-in process was super easy and the hosts were lovely. Our dog had fabulous time running around while we sat out the back of the cute cottage and took in the view.

Cannot wait to come back

Everything we needed for a farmish getaway - great location, proximity to fun and interesting explorations in the area & easy for groceries. It was so great being able to bring the dog and the kids absolutely loved roaming the grounds. The kitchen was well appointed and everything was very clean and serene. Can't wait to stay again.

Cute Farmstay

Peaceful, quiet and private spot - great for a total switch off away from the world. Tennis court provided hours of fun and we really appreciated the 'surprise' of breakfast supplies and cheese and crackers in the fridge.

Perfect family break in great location

Had a great week here. An easy drive from Sydney and a perfect place for an active family with the tennis court, pool and places to bike ride. Dog heaven and lovely to enjoy the company of farm animals. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding areas are beautiful and we hope to visit again soon. Thanks to the owners for friendly and prompt communication throughout.

Peaceful escape

The cottage was idyllic. It had all the amenities you would expect at a hotel with the addition of a home feel. Our dog was able to run around in the surrounding grounds and enjoyed saying hello to the lambs and chickens. Although he may have scared them a little. This is a great place to stay and highly recommended for an escape from the city. Maybe bring some mosquito repellent as you’d want to spend as much time outdoors as you can. Thanks to the hosts!

Escape from the city

Relaxing 2 days in beautifully presented farm cottage. Great location to access Blue Mountains hikes and tourist spots. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Our lab Millie though it was the best place ever.

Perfect escape for everyone! The farm; the scenery, the activities for family, the weather - it’s all there. We nipped out for a few local activities but ‘rushed’ back to the farm for more escape. Can’t wait to go again!

A really comfortable little cottage, with a friendly tabby cat and adorable dog to complete that would drop by every now and then. Hosts were great and made you feel welcomed throughout the stay.

Escape to the country

We were looking for a place that was beautiful and had everything we wanted if we didn't feel like going anywhere but also somewhere we could comfortably drive from to enjoy the local country attractions such as historic villages like Millthorpe and Rylstone as well as Mudgee wine country. We were able to do all that from this lovely place while enjoying the stunning beauty of the location and feeling very much like home. Thank you so much Rob and Amy, it really was a lovely experience and we hope to try your property down south one day soon too 😊.

Relaxing country stay

Really enjoyed our long weekend away in Wallerawang. Beautiful walk close by to the dam, and enjoyed the fire each night. The dog enjoyed the property, playing with the farm dog and interacting with the other animals. Great stay thanks!

Great relaxing stay on a beautiful property

Awesome authentic country stay

Cottage was fabulous. Every amenity possible. Dog friendly so everyone had a fab time. Scenery spectacular and owners delightful. Would definitely love to stay again.

Absolutely perfect getaway for a family (with dog)!

We are a family from Sydney's East who needed to get out of town for the weekend. We have two small children and a dog. Arrangements were made last minute and we were very lucky to secure time at Willowvale Estate. The entrance to the grounds is impressive and the charming cottage in which we stayed deceivingly spacious (we are considering a return with another family). The kids (and dog) could roam around freely: we kicked the ball around, played tennis, bounced on the trampoline, gawked at the securely fenced off farm animals and generally spent relaxing quality time together. We felt we hadn't scratched the surface in terms of activities and eateries in Wallerawang and surrounding towns. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this truly Great Farmstay!

My sister & her family shared a weekend at Willowvale estate & we weren't disappointed. The bbq area was perfect for lunch & dinner & the tennis court pool & spa kept the kids off their gadgets! The added touch of friendly dogs, sheep & a chicken made for a great country experience.

Stunning Property

We had the pleasure of recently staying at Willowvale for a long weekend. We made great use of the amazing facilities on offer including the pool, sauna and tennis court. The accommodation was comfortable and clean and the property and its surrounds were beautiful. Would have no hesitation in recommending Willowvale this to others.

Great Country escape

We had a great time at this cottage. Rob and his family were more than happy to help and provide us with anything we needed, allowed the kids to help feed the sheep and collect the eggs from the chickens which was a novel experience for our city kids. It was such a quiet spot where you could enjoy the surroundings or go for a day trip to the mountains or surrounds. Shame the lambs weren't born while we were there! Only feedback would be some mixing bowls or jugs in the kitchen would be a great addition. Would def recommend & return - thank you!
