Welcome to my home in the heart of the historical center downtown Copenhagen. This is the most cosy, lovely, artistic, historical, hip, local, charming area in Copenhagen. The very heart of Copenhagen, called the Medieval historical city, and latin quarter.
Here you find everything at your doorstep from cafes, restaurants, canals, museums, Tivoli, shopping at Strøget (the pedestrian shopping zone), parks, main station etc - and still you are at totally peace and calm in my apartment, as it is placed in a closed yard in the back house, withdrawn from the street and the city. Here you are in a green yard and garden. And my apartment at 1st floor also has a private balcony, where you can enjoy the flowers and garden and relaxe

The apartment has a bedroom with 180 cm wide double bed and super quality madrasses, a combined living and dining area with access to the balcony, and a modern kitchen with all you need for cooking, and also a modern bathroom with a large shower.

The building is a restored and carefully maintained historical classic Copenhagen building. It is a private owners building, and we take outmost care of it and the common yard garden, which is full of plants and flowers, and you are welcome to use the table and chair for a quiet pause from sightseeing, for a rest in the sun in this private garden.

In our street Sankt Peders Stræde you find excellent restaurants, cafes, conditor, bakery, hairdresser, bycicle rent, dry clean, super market - all you may need at your doorstep.

I warmly welcome you to my home, and I will look forward to hosting you here in this authentic old Copenhagen. More local it doesnt get. Though in the Capital of Denmark, this neighbour hood is very local, we are 300 inhabitants in this city center neighbourhood around the city Hall, called “Nørre Kvarter”, and we all almost know each other. It is very charming and safe. We meet for morning coffee at the cafe “Next Door Cafe” (also the best coffee in town and home made bakery, food and cakes to die for), owned by an American California / Danish Copenhagen couple, Skyler and Klaus. Dont miss out on this spot. It is right at the corner from my building.

I will of course have bedsheets, towels, kitchen cloths etc for you. You also find hairdryer, hand soap, washing liquod and so on, for your use.

If I am at home I will be pleased to welcome you and if I am away, there is a key box at the gate and one at my apartment. Always leave the keys in the boxes when you exit the apartment and building gate.

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our Copenhagen trip. Its perfectly centralized to all of the best Copenhagen has to offer. It felt very safe but that was a reflection of the area in general, very safe feeling. Charlotte was the perfect hostess. The incredible amount of pre-arrival information was a god send. The roses, chocolate n coffee on arrival were such an unforgettable treat. We look forward to a return visit in the future when the weather is warmer and trust that Charlotte will be able to accommodate us once again.

Charlotte's apartment was perfect for us. We always look for homes to rent that are lived in by the owner and not just furnished cheaply by IKEA etc. This apartment checked all this boxes!!! Excellent neighborhood with tons of great restaurants, bakeries and shops. 15 min or less walk and you are anywhere you want to be in town. The apartment had anything you would need to prepare or reheat meals. comfortable bed, couch and chairs. great bathroom & shower. a nice terrace with seating for 2-3 people. Only one flight of stairs, east entry. Fantastic communication every single time by Charlotte. Heat was perfect. The apartment is in a courtyard so it's very private, sunny & quiet. Plenty of space to store your clothes & shoes and coats. Well thought out layout that makes use of every inch of space. The decor was a home run as far as eclectic and visually appealing. The lighting was fabulous with dimly lit battery timed candles and outdoor lights. WiFi was strong. I would have like a few nice wine glasses to use since there are like 5 great wine shops very close by. There was a cabinet that had very nice stems that was locked, I understand why because they are quite fragile. We would 100% love to return to this city and Charlotte's apartment in the future, we stayed 5 nights and unfortunately our two Radiohead concerts were cancelled so we did not get to see them perform. We took a canal cruise, did the Tivoli Gardens Christmas stroll, ate way too much and had fabulous pastries.

My stay was just what I’d hoped for—living like a local for several days. The host was extraordinarily kind and responsive, and the central location was great. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable though not fancy. I loved the courtyard and the good bakery only a few steps away.

The apartment was in a perfect part of town for a wonderful visit. We had all the necessities for the stay provided. Our host was fantastically helpful with communication. Our only issue was with paperwork sent from VRBO. The code for the door was not updated and this was tricky since we arrived at midnight.

Charlotte is a Superhost! Her communication is flawless, with help, recommendations and responsiveness. The home is perfectly situated for easy walking throughout Copenhagen and visiting historic/touristic sights. The kitchen was well appointed making our morning meal prep quite easy. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location in the heart of Copenhagen. The apartment is in a quiet and secure residential block in a charming street, within easy walking distance to Norreport Metro for quick and easy airport arrivals and departures, close to a local Netto for groceries and supplies and the Copenhagen hop on hop off bus stops are nearby. We walked and walked exploring this beautiful city during the day and it was a pleasure to return to our little comfortable and homely apartment each evening. We felt like locals.There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, however the kitchen has everything you need if you wish to self cater. We absolutely loved our short stay in Copenhagen.

Charlotte’s place was clean and in a great location. We could walk to almost everything and it was quiet because it is set back from the street in a lovely courtyard. Charlotte is a very helpful, friendly and communicative host. Things to note- there is only one shelf available for unpacking as the bedroom closets are full of the owners personal items and we were not able to use the washing machine.

This property was very very disappointing. We would NEVER stay there again. It in no way matched the photos and descriptions shown on the website. Its state of cleanliness and repair were unacceptable for holiday accommodation of this price…It was filled with clutter and junk making the useable space for guests very minimal. The cupboards and drawers were unusable as they were filled with the owners clothing and “left overs”…the fridge was not clean and had out of date food items in the fridge and freezer from around 2022…There were numerous food items in the pantry which were around 5 years out of date…We were loathe to put our fresh food anywhere near these items…but had no choice…The furniture was old and falling apart and in need of immediate replacement…The furniture on the balcony was disgraceful…The shower area had not been cleaned for a considerable period of time…The shower curtain was filthy…It did not cover the necessary area and water ran all over the bathroom floor…There was very limited space to hang our clothes as the cupboards were full of the owners clothes…We had to store our own clothes on the floor…Several of the lights did not work, and the interior of the unit was gloomy in the evenings…There was little security in the building as the door handle on the ground level had fallen apart and most people in the building just left the door open for anyone to come in…There were no proper curtains to block out light in the mornings, people could see in…Peter

Hyggelige Wohnung in bester Lage

Die Wohnung liegt durch einen Innenhof abseits der Straße, ist umfassend ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich.Die Lage ist perfekt, wir konnten alles zu Fuß erledigen. Die Kommunikation mit unserer Gastgeberin lief absolut zuverlässig und entgegenkommend. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Charming Home Away From Home

This centrally located property was very cozy, clean, and comfortable to stay in. The flat is located in a quiet courtyard! Friendly neighbourhood with vintage and unique shops, cafes, prima bakeries and bar restaurants. Charlotte was very friendly, helpful and gave us great tips for our Danish experience!

Loved Charlotte's apartment

We were very comfortable in Charlotte's place She has thought of everything! Cozy is the best way to describe it. The apartment is located in great spot for getting out and around Copenhagen. We took public transportation and enjoyed every minute of it. The little balcony was a perfect spot to read and unwind after a long day!

Location is terrific!

You could not have a better location for accessing many sites in Copenhagen. Even though it is near everything, the apt. Is in the back of courtyard, so very quiet. But note, there are steep stairs to get to the door. The building is old and charming, which is why the floor slants inside apt. Also ask for clean cushions to enjoy the wonderful deck.

Vintage apartment that’s located close to every attraction (1.5 miles) with all the amenities you need and more. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our week long visit to Copenhagen. Yes, the floor has a slant which adds to the charm of an old building; nothing you can’t manage. The bed is basically the same size as a king sized bed.

Perfect location to enjoy copenhagen

My wife and I stayed for a 3 days enjoying the sights and people of Copenhagen. The location is perfect to walk the parks,see historic sites, and peruse the markets. There’s a bakery one block down the street that is a must stop. There’s always a line so be there early. The host, Charlotte, was easy to work with and her place was very comfortable for our stay.

Great Location

The property is small but worked well for two people. The location was fantastic and we could walk anywhere. The host was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend if want something centrally located.

Im Charlotte, a native Danish, and I live in the heart of Copenhagen, in the most charming and historical sourrundings.
I love swimming in the nearby canals, walk along the harbour and enjoying our calm and private garden yard.
I was born in the North of Denmark, living abroad in both Italy, France and Spain. My family is from Vienna, Copenhagen and Judtland - so I am a bit of a mix.
I love living here, the neighbourhood is so cosy, in the city center, and everybody knows everybody.
My home is 100% animal free due to servere allergi. No animals at all.

My home is fully decorated for living here, you will find all you need for having a wonderful time in Copenhagen. At your doorstep the historical city center opens for you, and when you need a rest you take that at my balcony or in our garden yard.
In my street, Sankt Peders Stræde you find all you need from breakfast cafes, grocery, hairdresser, fantastic restaurants and dry cleaning.

Living here you do not need a car or train, you can walk to everything in the city center in few minutes.
And even you are in the very heart of Copenhagen, you are in a quiet calm yard where you can relaxe and you are hidden from the city. My apartment is in the back-building, overviewing our lovely garden and yard.
In the street you can also rent bycicles.
No animals in my home. Severe allergi. No animals allowed.
