Totally tropical in style, Tequila Sunset is a large studio apartment with a fabulously fortunate view across Market Park to Dickson Inlet, right in the heart of town. Uniquely located on the top-floor corner of the Club Tropical building, at the Northern end of Macrossan St, this is the ultimate location to enjoy Port Douglas.

The balcony will become your favorite place to relax, sip cocktails and soak up the Port Douglas atmosphere. The kitchen offers full cooking facilities – stove-top, microwave, fridge etc. Everything has been considered, including ice machine, coffee maker, blender, cocktail tools and glassware, beach towels, binoculars, board games and more.

Enjoy a large lounge area, King-size bed and spacious ensuite with corner-bath and separate shower. Guests at Tequila Sunset also have full use of pool and resort facilities, including undercover secured parking.

This apartment is light and airy, offering gorgeous views North to Dickson Inlet and the Daintree Rainforest beyond, creating a wonderfully comfortable, tropical atmosphere.

Watch the boats come and go on the Inlet, look out to the parkland across the road and the mountains in the background. As you're right in the central hub of town, you can just wander down Macrossan St, boasting some of the best restaurants in the region, fashion boutiques, art galleries, pubs and cafes. On Sundays you’ll have the world renown Port Douglas markets right across the street in the park, where you can buy locally grown and produced goods. St Mary's by The Sea Wedding chapel, one of the best known and used icons in the area, is also right there in the park, making Tequila Sunset a very popular apartment for wedding couples and guests.

We absolutely loved this place! The wife and I visited Port Douglas as part of our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Tequlia Sunset is at the tip of the main downtown strip, easy to explore and visit restaurants and shops. The outdoor patio/kitchen was fun to hang out in and view the different species of birds, see the boats go by, and take in other town activities. Caroline was super friendly and met us when we arrived. And the front desk reception (Kel) was very helpful in recommending tours (we wanted to see the reef and the rainforest). We highly recommend this place and would book it again on our next visit to Port Douglas.

Caroline was an outstanding landlord. Not only was she there in person to meet us and explain everything with the unit she also gave us great suggestions for dining and sightseeing places. Her apartment was quite spacious and had magnificent views, very well located also. Would definitely stay again

Awesome Location, Cool comfort in Hot Paradise

I am so glad we chose Port Douglas for our reef/rainforest adventure, and so glad we chose this apartment to stay in. The owner gave us a tour of the place on arrival, plus recommendations on tours and restaurants after talking to us. We checked out everything thing she suggested and they were all exactly what we were looking for! Made the visit an overwhelming success. The top-floor, corner location is near the best shops/restaurants AND a short walk to the marina and beautiful park for sunsets AND the local shuttle. The balcony is a great place for breakfast, drinks, bird and people watching. The inside stays nice and cool with A/C and fans. Pool and spa are lovely. The owner responded quickly to an issue we had. The only negative is concerning wifi, for out-of-country visitors, as it was hard to get from inside, sometimes possible from the balcony. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location across from the park, outdoor kitchen and dining, excellent host.

Caroline is a super host, excellent communication throughout the process. Graciously met us at the condo. Well appointed, super clean with beach towels, ice maker, everything required for a comfortable stay. Caroline also had great suggestions for activities in the area. We absolutely loved the location, amenities and vibe, we give it our highest recommendation!
