The BP is 200m up the road has many ice creams for the kids to choose.
But if you need a-little more the local town shops cater for the 2L/4L containers to really enjoy your break.
Also the local supermarkets sell everything you will need for your short break.

COFFS HARBOUR MARINA
A visit to this Holiday Destination would not be complete without going to the Coffs Harbour Marina and walking the BreakWall and enjoying the summer breezes of the Ocean while watching the Fishing Boats bob back and forth on their moorings.
The Fish Co-Op serves the freshest fish and chips, straight from the Ocean to your plate. The chips are cooked to best tasting freshness.
The Ice-Cream shop has the best and coldest ice creams in cones or ice-cream cups

The famous Waterfall Way is a short drive and has many Waterfalls to visit. You will see some of the Best Waterfall’s in Australia here.

RIVER
The Kalang River is known for its fishing appeal. It does have a few Fishing Tournaments such as
Putting Bennet in January
Flathead Tournament in November
But you don’t need a Tournament to fish, or see the occasional dolphin swimming around.
Kayaking around Newry Iskand is a popular weekend treat for some as is using a SUP. In February there is a Dragon Boat race around the island called Kalang River Classic.

RESTAURANTS
Anchors Restaurant is on the Wharf in Urunga and overlooks the river with the very best views. The venue is absolutely stylish-modern. It menu has been said to be exquisite seafood with all the famous classics. An excellent location for that special celebration or romantic dinner.
In the afternoon, You could just go for a few beers or grab that well deserved Coffee and Cake treat.

WINTER TIME
June-July-August
This is a great time of year to visit Coffs Harbour region on the Coast. You will find the temperature to be quite temperate due to the coastal weather being impacted by the seas warmer winter conditions. It’s a unique time of year as the fish still come out as do the bird life. Shopping at Coffs Harbour can still get you that great pair of Jeans that you were always after and that Jumper that shows off your abundance of style.
