This brand new modern one bedroom retreat has everything you need for the perfect beach getaway, relax by the fire or watch the surf while watching your favourite sport on Foxtel.

Dodges Ferry is a beachside town with all facilities including post office, news agency, butcher, cafes, bakery, pharmacy, doctor, boat ramp and family dining locally available.

Immaculately maintained and presented, this property offers stunning sweeping views over Frederick Henry Bay and Park Beach which can be enjoyed from the large outdoor entertaining deck or from all internal living areas.

Spacious open plan living with separate dining area is conveniently located next to the full size kitchen complete with electric oven and cooktop.

Absolutely a perfect getaway. The house was very clean, tidy and organised. The views were to die for. A super comfy King bed along side a beautiful fire place whilst also being able to snuggle to the beautiful views. This place is a true getaway and super relaxing. It has everything needed for a stay( full size kitchen, bbq, washing machine and more) definitely recommend for anyone wanting a super relaxing beautiful stay

Fabulous view and loved the log fire. Very well appointed cottage, spotlessly clean. The owner has thought of absolutely everything to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay - even wine glasses in the freezer to keep them cold! Excellent value.

A lovely beachfront stay

A lovely place for one person (or two!) to stay, less than 5 minutes' walk from Park Beach with panoramic views. The accommodation is exactly as shown on the photos, with the addition of two outdoor loungers and an outdoor dining set, which were lovely to have. Fully functional kitchen, modern bathroom, split system for heating/cooling as well as a log fire. Lots of doors and windows with fly screens for natural circulation. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

Loved the view!

This is a great property that has everything you need...from supplies in the kitchen so you can cook a meal, to washing tablets to do laundry. The fire place in the middle of the room keeps the house warm and cozy, but it is spectacular views that we would come back for! We could have spent all day in the very comfortable bed, just watching the views, but with so much of Tassie to discover, alas, we didn’t! Fantastic couples retreat!

Cosy two person beach side villa

We stayed at the retreat during a blustery and cold weekend in July. The fire was lit continuously and did a reasonable job of keeping us warm. The other heater was not up to the job. Having said that, the Retreat was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it immensely, happy to be back after days braving the weather. Many thanks Grace for your hospitality and congratulations on a stylish comfortable retreat.

Loved our short stay !

Thoroughly enjoyed this location. Inside the house, it was immaculately clean and well presented, very homely feeling & cosy. Loved the fireplace and ample wood supplied. Bed & pillows were super comfy. Loved the views and managed to capture an aurora on one of the nights we were there. Overall a great experience and would definately recommend :-) Feedback: (* Cleanliness - 1 star deducted as the outside of the house & outdoor furniture had lots of cobwebs that could do with some attention to detail) (* Accuracy of listing - 1 star deducted as it should have been mentioned that there are steep steps to the house - also our car was unable to fit down the steep driveway... As we are older folks we found this quite challenging especially with our luggage)

Absolutely a 10/10 review for this place. The views are spectacular and definitely a lot of planning has gone into the property to ensure absolute comfort. A definite recommendation to pick here if choosing a relaxing getaway. Can’t wait to plan our next trip and stay here again. I encourage all who stay to read the little book about the property in the book area and the amazing planning and thought that has gone into the retreat. Don’t hesitate, book this place now, also great ammenities and very clean kitchen/lounge area with a fireplace. My only concern if you’re reading this is hopefully your dates when booking don’t overlap with ours when we want to come back again!! Thanks for a great relaxing place to stay Grace. Oh, and PS I read in a review and your disclaimer of minor debris/cobwebs out the back due to beach conditions - I can honestly say the back of the property is in pristine condition also. And really peeps if you worry about such a minor detail booking this retreat that’s crazy as the view is at the front of the property. Thanks again so much for this stay Grace - an anniversary getaway we will remember and up there as one of the best❤️😊

A special place to stay.

Our three night stay was perfect. When we arrived and the place was lovely and warm with the air conditioner on. We loved the open fire that we used each night. The kitchen had everything we needed. The king size bed was really comfortable. Parking was off road and just outside the the back door. Oh and the view is amazing. Thanks for the chocolates a lovely treat. We would highly recommend this place.

We are recently retired from a family business we operated for 35 years in North Queensland.

When our daughter moved to Tasmania from Queensland, we searched for the perfect block to build our dream holiday home. This is the block we found overlooking Frederick Henry Bay. This home was built at our workshop in Atherton, unbolted and shipped to Tasmania in a shipping container and erected on this block in 2014.

In any weather you can see people enjoying Park Beach. There is always someone out in front of our place be it surfing, paddle boarding, kite surfing, wind surfing, boating, sailing. If it's cold, sit with the warmth of the fire in front of you and watch whats happening outside.
