if you’re a family looking for an effortless get-away you’ll LOVE Port Fairy House.

Our beach house is ideally located less than a minutes stroll to Port Fairy’s family friendly East Beach and is available for rent all year round.
With five bedrooms , the house can sleep up to 8 people comfortably. You have to walk through bedroom 5 to get to bedroom 4.
There are 2 seperate living rooms. The second one is in a bungalow detached from the house. Perfect for teenagers.

– Bedroom B: 1 x King bed
– Bedroom C: 1 King Single beds
– Bedroom D: 1 King Single
- Bedroom E : 1 Queen


Our classic family beach house is spotlessly clean, well appointed, provisioned with all the pantry basics and freshly pressed superior linen on all beds. Bath towels provided also of course.


Port Fairy House features an open plan living area, heating in all bedrooms, dishwasher, air conditioning, washing machine, outdoor BBQ with decking and a large table. Outdoor hot & cold shower. There is only one bathroom so the outside shower certainly comes in handy. There is a separate building with the second lounge area with a TV and WiFi.
A cafe style coffee machine to enjoy that first cafe late to begin the day while listening to the waves rolling in just across the road.

A house and holiday to suit everyone.

The house is a quaint style probably built in the 1940’s, the decor was also in that era, with modern renovations like the kitchen and bathroom. Also close to the beach.

Just managable

many internal doors would not shut properly including the bathroom door which was only just held closes by poorly conecting hook and eye fixture, the air conditioner didnt work, switched on but not functioning, floors are very uneven in places which ic a bit unsafe for elderly occupants two of whom were using walking frames, also front entrance very unacceptable for elderly persons. no suitable kitchen seating as in CHAIRS!!!!

Great weekend away with family

The house had all we needed for an intergenerational weekend away. The outside area is fabulous with afternoon sun and plenty of room for everyone, beautiful well maintained grassed area. The kids loved the extra living room separate to the house. Comfy beds, large fridge was excellent and the outdoor shower was nice and warm after our beach swims. Jen was responsive with communication when required. Thank you!

Easter Break

We had family visiting and this house provided the perfect opportunity for us to stay in Port Fairy. So close to the beach and a nice walk to town.

Great house and location

We had a wonderful stay here over Easter. Perfect location close to the beach and enclosed back yard for our dog. The coffee machine was an excellent addition to the property. We will be back.

Perfect

Such a gorgeous little home with space for everyone. All adults and kids on our trip had a wonderful time, enjoying all of the spaces - together or on our own - enough space for everyone to escape each other if need be. The deck is lovely and the grassed area so great for kids and our dog (completely enclosed). I’d recommend an umbrella or some sort of shade for the deck though. The house was perfectly clean, beds comfy. Open the windows and you can hear the ocean. Short walk to the beach. Take your bikes and ride into town (or one minute drive). We really hope we can come back as such fond memories were made here in our short stay. Communication from the owner Jenny was exceptional. Highly, highly recommended.

Port Fairy beach house

We stayed here over christmas with family and had a wonderful time. Its very tidy and clean, beds are very comfortable. The location is amazing so close to the beach. Had a fantastic time. No complaints here!!!

Father, Sons and Grandson at the Warrnambool Sprint Car Classic.

Had a family “boys” trip to the speedway for three nights. Great location, so comfy and layback property. Everything we needed plus more. Will try and book this property again as the host was great to deal with.

Maintenance

Some maintenance is required bed in the front room requires a new mattress had to sleep in the middle to stop falling out. The floor in the kitchen needs repairing properly it’s extremely uneven most doors don’t shut properly the second bedroom light switch doesn’t work sometimes. The cleaning around the light switches make the rest of the wall look dirty and the carpet needs a good steam clean and the timer on the dryer is faulty otherwise a very nice relaxing stay. Close to shops and river.

Slice of heaven in Port Fairy

We spent 5 days and absolutely loved our time in this property from the amazing coffee machine to the gorgeous deck and surpise outdoor party chillax room. Very short walk across the road to East beach which we also loved. The grassed back garden and hedge had loads of bird visitors and we spotted some splendid fairy wrens which was magical. Check in process through to arrivals and departure was a breeze and Jenny has really thought of everything. Highly recommend!

Port Fairy house review

We spent two weeks at Jen's house, and absolutely loved it. Just a 90 second walk to the beach, and a quick stroll into town was perfect for us. A secure yard for our dog, and an amazing deck to relax on. The seperate living area was also great for yoga etc (or anyone that wanted a bit of space to chill). Would highly recommend.

Another Wonderful Family Memory in Port Fairy

Port Fairy has become our second home. We began our holidays there with six young children 12 years old to 1-year-old 14 years ago. Now with 26-year-olds down to 14 years old's, this home provided space for all of us and the growing family with partners. Jenny was more than obliging with all requests and was very prompt in her communication. I am crossing all of my fingers and toes that we can rent this property again. The master bed was absolutely perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor hot shower was a highlight. Even in summer a cold shower outside after the beach is not always what you want. Jenny did not skimp on toiletries. I love that they were not small throw-away items. Perfect distance from everything. It was a perfect getaway. Thanks, Jenny.

Winter getaway

Great place, close to East Beach for gorgeous morning walks. Well stocked kitchen and cosy living room for relaxing on chilly evenings. Beds excellent. Jenny was super accommodating and keen to make sure we were comfortable - thanks for a great stay!

House review

The owner (Jen) was very easy and professional to deal with and promptly addressed a minor issue we encountered. The house and accommodation is comfortable and worked well for our family. Having only 1 bathroom is a drawback but there is also a hot shower outdoors which was used on multiple occasions. Well located to use the beach. It met with our expectations and being pet friendly was a just what we needed. Would book again when in Port Fairy.

Family holiday

A lovely place to stay, boys enjoyed just crossing road to beach. Nice sunny back room and lovely outdoors to eat and overlook paddocks. On edge of town, but we all love to walk and bike ride. A nice walk via the beach, around river and into shops.

A Perfect Family Holiday House

23 February - 1 March 2021 East Beach House is a perfect family place to stay in Port Fairy. Beautifully located between the beach and the river, the house is very well equipped, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a great deck and a private secure yard for dogs.
