Ce chalet magnifique période remontant à environ 1856 est situé au centre et magnifiquement rénové - un mélange parfait de charme historique et confort moderne! Charming Cottage in Beechworth

Our stay here was a wonderful home away from home and an easy walk into town centre. Gladstone House, while small, is delightful and comfortable with a beautiful modern interpretation of a late nineteenth century garden to spend time in. Hope to able to stay here again someday and have no hesitation in recommending this great find to anyone looking to spend a few days in Beechworth.

Weekend getaway

Gladstone House is a beautiful historical cottage. It's been lovingly updated and is a very comfortable place for a getaway! Loved the fire place! Just a short walk into town as well as beautiful walks around the gorge. Highly recommended.

Charm filled short stay

We had a fantastic stay in this period cottage with up to date amenities and everything you could want. Fantastic location walking distance to town but fad enough to be very quiet. Exceptional garden which was perfect for relaxing and listening to the kookaburra’s. Just Gorgeous

A Beechworth Gem

Two sisters on a road trip to Melbourne decided to break the journey in Beechworth and stay at Gladstone House. What a find! Location excellent - just a short stroll into town. The house is very old and because of this, there are a few areas where there are steps into rooms, but it was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully provisioned. The gardens are lovely and just the spot to enjoy a quiet cuppa with the birdlife. The kitchen has everything you will need, and the renovated bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The hosts were super-responsive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect in every way

This property is a delight. It’s as described…only better. The cottage is comfortable, quiet, and beautifully appointed. It’s been thoughtfully equipped and the beds and supplied linens are quality. Both front and back verandas have serene garden outlooks and are perfect for sitting with a quiet glass of wine or book. The town centre with great cafes and shops is a short walk away. The hosts are helpful and communicate well. We can’t wait to return.

Lovely base in Beechworth

Clean, comfortable and close to town. Small cottage with modern bathroom and modern well equipped kitchen. Ideal for a couple, could be a bit tight for four adults. Warm, cosy and an easy walk to town. The only problem we had was a lack of wardrobe or cupboard space. Unable to unload a suitcase, no hanging space.

We loved staying at Gladstone House. It's a beautiful house with so much history which the owners have meticulously researched - it's a great read. The house is cosy with many original features but modern amenities. Gorgeous street and great location. We loved it!

Gladstone House

Gladstone House is a beautifully restored home in the heart of Beechworth. It’s beautifully designed and decorated with great attention to detail. The house is located within walking distance to lots of historic sights and a quick drive to Lake Sambell. Beechworth is home to lots of lovely cafes, pubs and shops including the famous Beechworth Bakery we throughly enjoyed our mini break there.
