This is an individual apartment, inside a classic, older, Melbourne CBD building with a security entrance and elevator. The living area and balcony overlook Russell Lane below.



Perfect for four, your 82 sq m, two-level, very modern 2-bedroom apartment is amazingly located in the middle of the CBD's cafe, restaurant, theatre and shopping district.

Your swish Melbourne boutique, serviced apartment includes very modern, high quality, artistic furnishings and appliances, linen, towels, and kitchen. Opening windows allow fresh air through all rooms when you want it, and there is also air-conditioning in all main rooms.



This is only one of many beautiful, boutique, inner-Melbourne apartments that are so well-located near the trams, entertainment venues and everything you could need; as well as the many attractions that Melbourne has to offer.

Car parking is available nearby for a small fee - monthly rates are as little as about $10/day.


LOCATION:

StayCentral on Little Collins is in the middle of some of the best shopping, restaurants, cafes and bars in Australia. It is only a short walk from Chinatown. The tram stops are just 150m away and they head in three different directions, so you can easily go wherever you want. You can even enjoy a walk to some of the best-known sporting venues, markets and arts venues in the country. Everyday shops, services, banks ATMS and all your everyday needs are catered for nearby.



Melbourne Central shopping centre, the Bourke Street Mall, Carlton Gardens and Melbourne Museum/IMAX theatre, Crown Casino and the aquarium are all within walking distance.

Inner Melbourne and the nearby Southbank Promenade are famous for their world-class restaurants and shops. In addition, there are multiple food outlets, buskers and arts crafts events. Just south of the Casino is South Melbourne shopping strip, and the famous South Melbourne Markets, and at the western end of Little Collins St is the huge and famous DFO (Direct Factory Outlet).

Here are just a few examples of local attractions which are an easy walk or a very quick tram ride away:

Southbank and Southgate Promenade shops, restaurants and cafes; right on the river.

Southbank to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne or South Yarra - great for walking, jogging, bike riding or rollerblading. Southbank promenade forms part of the Capital City Bicycle Trail, which circles the Melbourne city centre and some inner eastern and northern suburbs. A popular starting point for the trail is at Princes Bridge near Flinders Street Station. Bikes can be hired near the boathouses east of the bridge.

The Yarra River is a great way to see the city and hear about its history. The Yarra River Cruises show you and tell you so much about the city.



Getting There

It's easy to get to StayCentral on Little Collins. From the airport, you can just take a taxi, Uber or Ola, or you can hop on the Skybus to Southern Cross Station. From there, it's a short walk and a free tram ride up Collins St to Russell St, walk to the left half a block along Russell and turn left at Little Collins. The apartment is about half way down on the right hand side, just before Russell Lane.



Getting Around

You are surrounded by trams on nearby Swanston, Collins and Bourke Streets, but you are already in the CBD, so you can walk to many places including Melbourne Central shopping complex nearby. Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, it's free, and you don't need a Myki card.



Guest Interaction

We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day. A guest information folder with full instructions and local information is supplied in all of our apartments.

Within 30 days, the minimum stay is 3 nights

30 days or more in advance, the min stay is 7 nights

90 days or more in advance, the min stay is 28 nights

We won't be able to accept bookings that do not meet the above criteria.





Late Arrivals

For guests arriving between 22:00 and 08:00 there is a late arrival fee of $100.00
For no shows, there is a no show fee of $100
For Public Holiday arrivals, there is an extra surcharge of $50



Check in
On check in, you will be asked to sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms Conditions.



Pet Stays
NB: Many of our properties, (including this one) are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! The pet stay fee is $135 (base rate) plus $5 per night per pet.



SECURITY BOND - FOR SOME GUESTS
For stays of 28+ nights and bookings made within 5 days of arrival, you will be required to pay a refundable bond of $1200.00. Payments of this bond by credit card or International Bank Transfer will incur fees which are not refundable. Please note bonds may be requested at the managers discretion. Bonds are due 7 days before arrival and are refunded within 14 days of departure. The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal.

All bookings require a credit card to be held on file for security purposes during your stay. Any credit cards used must be added by the guest and verified by our 3DSecure security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified will not be accepted. Perfect apartment in the perfect location.
The beautiful entrance is just the start of this immaculate apartment. The location is second to none and you are surrounded by amazing bars, (I highly recommend trying Bar Ampere in Russell Lane for their delicious food and wine) coffee shops and restaurants. The bedrooms are perfectly sized, with black-out curtains, and very comfortable beds with clean and fresh linen. The bathroom is immaculate, and the water pressure is spot-on. Using the drying function on the washing machine takes patience as the drying time is a lot longer than expected. Sitting on the balcony, the office block across the alleyway provides no privacy during business hours but did note that many of the workers closed their blinds for mutual benefit. In the evening the balcony is the perfect spot for an adult beverage. I will most definitely stay here again.
