Week stay with family and friends

A wonderful spacious property. Clear communications and welcoming. The property has been tastefully developed to include excellent relaxation spaces, many facilities and a wide selection of utensils. Plenty to do locally, especially if you enjoy vineyards and outdoor activities. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Abrahamhegy gem/ amazing experience

Judit and John are the most caring and nicest hosts. The house is beautiful, well equipped, clean and just awesome! It is a great mix of traditional Hungarian lake house and modern amenities, appliances. We had a great vacation and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fantastic place to stay by Lake Balaton.

Amazing house

The house is gorgeous, spacious and clean. Judit and John were the perfect hosts. They responded quickly to all our questions and check in was a breeze. All bedrooms had their own bathroom. We stayed for 5 nights, but no one wanted to leave at the end. The kids and the adults had a great time hanging out at the beautiful pool and in the backyard. The trees in the yard are just amazing (especially the Ginkgo and the oak tree). We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!

holiday in John & judit's gem :))

we rented this beautiful house from judit & john for a week & 10 people. the house is amazing, it is clean, lovingly furnished and has a huge garden. John & Judit were always available for questions and were happy to help. we got a detailed tour of the house and had a wonderful week there (age range 19-22 years) I can recommend Judit and John's house to everyone, the vacation was wonderful :))! judith and john also came to meet us in terms of time so that we can plan the vacation for our friends as best as possible. a huge thank you for that again!!:)

Just perfect!

We spent 11 days in Ábrahome with the family and friends, and wish we had been able to stay longer! Everything was just perfect. The location on the north side of Balaton is great for wine tastings (several are within walking distance), trips to the countryside or just enjoying lake Balaton - but at the end it was just as great to stay at the house, enjoy the pool and the fantastic (and huge) garden. Everything is designed perfectly for a vacation, with plenty of outdoor toys for the garden, bikes and SUPs for some outdoor activities, or the sauna and the pingpong table and board games for the rainy days. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything one needs for cooking, there is also a very good and fully equipped grill. There was not one moment when we wished we would be somewhere else (even though we had some pretty bad weather). Judit and John have designed their property with loving care and a level of attention to detail that is extremely rare. They also took care of us, were wonderful to communicate with (both in advance and during our vacation), and very helpful in making sure we have a great time. I can only recommend this property for a vacation in the strongest possible terms. We definitely hope to be back soon, thank you for everything!

Laszlo and his family and friends stayed at AbraHome in early August. They had a mixed bag on the weather front, but seemed to have got on with making the very best of things and we are delighted they had a great holiday. They are a lovely family, and very easy to communicate with. They were no trouble at all and they left the place in truly immaculate condition. We give them a very strong recommendation to the Vrbo community as guests.

One of a kind

We’ve had a wonderful time at Abrahome. Judit & John‘s house is probably the most beautiful we’ve ever been to, And to us was so inspiring. It felt like everything is so well thought through, in terms of design and comfort and how well the house is blended with the surrounding. Everything is also child proof which is great. The sauna is also a real treat. the big garden with all the trees, a fire pit, a meditation gazebo, and a lot of outdoor toys for kids was just amazing. The communication with Judit & John was smooth. We’ve had a great time and didn’t want to leave…

Perfect vacation house

We spent 5 days here last summer and we had such a great time that we had to come back. The house is perfect for families and friends. The best thing is that you're never bored if you rent this property. When the weather is nice, you can swim in the pool, take the SUPs (there are 3 of them with an electric pump!) to the Balaton, ride your bike down to the strand or just hang out in the gorgeous backyard in a hammock. If it's a rainy day, you can play boardgames (they have a bunch of them), watch a good movie (so many DVDs) or play darts and ping pong in the game room. There's even a sauna and the outdoor kitchen area is amazing. You can also go on hikes and it's only a 5 minute walk from the Folly Arboretum (I highly recommend it, it's beautiful and the food is amazing). The house is clean and spacious. We had a wonderful time here (again), and can't wait to come back next summer! Thank you for everything!

Wordclass country house in the Badacsony area

We have a long record of renting homes in Europe for summer vacation (we are a family group of 6 adults and 4 children). Up until now, we were not able to find accomodations comparable to those in Western Europe in Hungary - Abrahome definitely changed that! The property actually looks better in reality than on the pictures. Everything (_everything_) is of the highest quality / standards.. The furnitures/kitchen ware, the spacious bathrooms, garden, grill/outdoor area, table tennis, darts, sauna etc, you name it... You only need a few minutes upon arrival to see that this property has been carefully planned and developed with high attention to detail, and also that it is continuously maintained. What we liked the most were the spacious living rooms ( yes, 2 of them :), which are interconnected, and the layout in general: the 4 sleeping units are comfortably far away from each other to provide privacy. We ordered much of of the food from a local restaurant, which even increased the level of comfort. And there is so much to do and see nearby, for adults and for children as well. Closest beach is Abrahamhegy (15 minutes on foot, 5 on bycicles, but for us it was too crowded and not-so child friendly so we rather chose to go to Zanka. Final verdict: Should you decide to visit lake Balaton and care about quality, Abrahome is choice you will not regret. Chapeau for the whole family and thank you again! Best, Tamas
