The house was beautiful and great for a group! We appreciated all the areas for playing games and eating. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out was easy. Deborah was so easy to work with! We will definitely be going back in the future!

Mountain Haven was a beautiful home. The large kitchen and living area accommodated our family of 14. Bedrooms were large and beds were very comfortable. We stayed there because our son got married at Mt. Rose Ski Resort. The home was also close to Reno/Tahoe International Airport, Lake Tahoe and just a short trip to Virginia City. We had a couple of questions we had to ask the host and they were very responsive. I highly recommend Mountain Haven.

Outstanding Home and Host

This house is amazing. We had our family of 17 people. There was plenty of room for all of us. The poolroom, pool table, and shuffle board table was awesome. The owner is amazing. She was helpful with whatever our needs were. I would totally recommend this house.

We recently had the privilege of staying at an absolutely stunning home in Reno-Tahoe for my daughter's wedding at Tannenbaum, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how spacious and meticulously designed the property was.The house was perfect for our large family — there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out, relax, and enjoy each other’s company. Whether we were all gathered in the large living room, cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, or enjoying the breathtaking views from the deck, the space was ideal for both intimate moments and large family gatherings.Speaking of the kitchen, it was honestly a chef’s dream. Every detail was considered, from the high-end appliances to the ample counter space and beautiful cookware. Preparing meals together was a joy, and the kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed — and then some. All in all, this home made my daughter’s wedding weekend unforgettable. It felt like a perfect retreat for our family, offering both comfort and elegance in a way we didn’t even know we needed. It truly was better than we ever expected. If you’re looking for a beautiful and functional space in Tahoe, I can’t recommend this place enough. It made our family time and the wedding celebration even more magical.

Perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay! We were in town for a volleyball tournament and it was so great to enjoy this home out of the city - the hot tub and views and game room. But still an easy drive to the convention center. It is the best stocked kitchen! Beds super comfy. We had 10 in our group but could very comfortably fit more. Living room with fireplace was lovely to gather. Hot tub was so relaxing. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. Thanks so much for everything!!!!

Perfect getaway

This was a fantastic getaway.... Family of 12 stayed comfortably with plenty of privacy when needed. Deborah and Donna were amazing at giving recommendations and making our stay a very . Very accommodating and clean. Thanks againmemorable experience. Close to Smemorablllexperience.

Amazing stay for a big group!

This house was exactly what we were hoping for. It was excellent for our large group, with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and Deborah was extremely responsive when we had any questions. Our group enjoyed the hot tub as well as the patio tables outside. We would definitely book this house again!

A Perfect House for Family

We stayed at the house for the weekend of our daughter's wedding at Tannenbaum. This was the perfect house for us and our family to use for the occasion. The area is spectacular! Deborah and Tom were great hosts! Highly recommend and hope to book with them when we are in the area.

FANTASTIC!

Hands down the best place I have ever stayed! We rented this beautiful place for my daughter's wedding and honestly, we did not want to leave! I will definitely be returning! We are now thinking of having a family reunion there or at their other rental which is just up the road and a little bit bigger (not that it needs to be any bigger). The service was absolutely amazing!

Stellar Stay!

This was the most absolutely best stay! We had 3 families for a week of skiing and it couldn't have been better. The kitchen was stocked, the garage had snow toys, the kids had a blast making sled runs in the backyard, the fireplace was so cozy. We had shuffle board and pool competitions, played card and board games (also provided). We will be back!

Dream Getaway Home

What a dream home! I’m so grateful I chose this home to rent for the weekend. It was absolutely the BEST home we have ever rented. The host Deborah was kind and welcoming. She gave us an overview of the home and made us feel very welcome. The house was very clean, and absolutely stunning. It was fully stocked with more than any home we have rented. Photos do not do justice! Our family had the absolute best weekend and can not wait to come back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 10/10 experience.

A wonderful family get away!

I can't say enough good about the home and the hospitality shown to my family during our stay at Mountain Haven. This trip was a celebration of my granddaughter's high school graduation. To our surprise Deborah had put out graduation decorations to welcome us. There was always a quick response to any questions or concerns we had about the house or the the Lake Tahoe area. Fantastic Home for Families & Friends

Very personal experience from moment of arrival to departure. Close access to to Tahoe Lake and amenities in Reno. Everything that you want to do with 30 minutes of the property. Overall property was extremely clean and well taken care of. Would definitely stay at this property again.

This house is perfect! Aside from the managers Deborah and Thomas accommodating every single one of our needs in record time… this house had everything you could need/imagine for a long weekend in! You can truly tell they put in so much thought into this space perfect for having large get togethers! We had such an incredible experience here and my whole group loved their stay! Great spot for gathering with friends!

We had the best time at the Mountain Haven for Fathers Day weekend! So much space in this house! Everything you could ever need, fully stocked, wonderfully planned out for visitors. We enjoyed the house and all its offerings, quiet neighborhood, beautiful scenery and fantastic host!

Mountain Haven did not disappoint. Our host Deborah was welcoming and accommodating and she had the house stocked with everything you would need and then some for a vacation rental.

We hosted my sons smaller wedding party consisting of grooms men, bridesmaids and few additional family members here at the house in complete comfort and convenience being just 3 minutes from the venue. The two distinctive “wings” upstairs allowed us to have a bridal side with plenty of natural light for the hair and makeup professionals and the grooms side had fun rec area with the pool table and plenty of space to relax before getting suited up. Without seeing the bride before she walked down the aisle! I highly recommend Mountain Haven and will definitely keep it in mind for future gatherings. Thank you Deborah for making our special event even better with your beautiful home and exceptional attention to detail with a relaxed Nevada vibe!
