This slopeside Mammoth Mountain condo, near Juniper Springs Lodge, is a short walk to the lifts at Eagle Lodge and offers excellent amenities for an easy stay. This is chic condo offers a spacious layout with underground shared garage parking so you don't have to worry about the snow, parking it and leave the car as you can walk or grab a shuttle to everything needed! The living room features a cozy wood-burning fireplace, Twin trundle and day bed, large flatscreen Smart TV, and is perfect for a group traveling with can enjoy their own private nook in the enclosed patio where you can watch the winter wonderland outside, and mountain views. This area offers a sitting/playing area, TV, games and more, the kids will love it! There is a King bed in the master with attached private bathroom and large 65" flatscreen Smart TV. The bathroom is jack and jill style with access from the master or the hallway and features a tub/shower combo. The kitchen is fully stocked and comes with all the appliances you will need for a home cooked meal. There is even ski and boot storage just inside the condo, and additional amenities include a portable AC unit, luggage racks, baby high chair and more. This condo comes with underground parking for one vehicle (garage clearance is 6' 6"), as well as a second space available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and elevator service to your floor making it accessible. The Aspen Creek community offers a swimming pool, numerous outdoor hot tubs, sauna, BBQ area and common area laundry. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. This condo sleeps a maximum of 4 people and no smoking is permitted. Pet are not allowed. There are no stairs to this unit (elevator access) and no stairs inside. PLEASE NOTE: This home utilizes video surveillance monitoring at the front door. Good clean & spacious condo

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good clean, older style condo located close to Eagle Chair. Clean and spacious. Wish there was kindling and paper to start a fire. Can't start a fire with just wood! Would be ideal with an outdoor balcony, but none in the complex. Mammoth Reservations was excellent, allowing early check in and late check out, which we didn't end up needing. Note that parking entry is very low and I had to remove my roof top cargo box before driving into the carpark.

Better than I expected, but will probably not stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The refrigerator and the dishwasher were very old and on their last legs. In fact the refrigerators compressor stopped working and we had to have a mini fridge delivered for the last two days.The layout of the unit was nice in that we had our daughter and her partner with us that we didn’t originally expect. They were able to sleep in the cute little cubby provided by the enclosed balcony.However the doors were very thin and noise traveled quickly in the unit. So everyone could hear anybody who got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. and because the unit was on the third floor, it was warm in the middle of the night in the summer. Even though the outside temperature was low. We originally scheduled this unit for March but the atmospheric river weekend prevented us from being able to go. We were only given the option to reschedule, and not cancel. So that made it feel a bit like we were forced to stay here. Still, it was nice and it did have some good aspect to it. It just didn’t seem ideal for our needs. (Because we rescheduled to summer, and brought our bikes, we had to bring them up in the elevator. We did find a good spot to keep them however. ) Overall I’d give the unit a rating of C+. Please tell the owner to update their dishwasher and their refrigerator.

Convenient and spacious, but needs a little TLC

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here during a very heavy storm, so some of our overall experience was affected by that. The driveway and roads within the condo community were not plowed until about 10 am, which delayed our departure and resulted in us getting stranded for most of the day. The unit itself was more spacious than we'd anticipated, and was cozy and comfortable. There were a few loose floorboards between the wood/carpet, and a couple exposed carpet nails between the bedroom and bathroom. We called the property management on the morning after we arrived, but never got a call back regarding this issue.

It worked

The condo was suitable for our needs. Clean but outdated, which was ok for us. Location is great, by Eagle Lodge, but still a bit of a walk. The hardest part of our stay was that we were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of order for at least 5 days (was already broken when we got there). This was especially hard when you have to haul all your ski gear and heavy cooler up 3 flights. But we enjoyed the fire place (bring fire starter and kindling with you!). And was quiet and relaxing.

Location Saved The Day

I rented this united because of it's close proximity to Eagle Lodge. Overall the unit was pretty good, clean but dated, as stated in most of the other reviews. I did have an issue with the fact that the heater in the master bedroom was not working, so that room was cold, especially at night. And the elevator wasn't working, which was a major inconvenience as this unit is located on the third floor, so schlepping skis up and down three flights of stairs was very annoying. When you pay for a unit that advertises there being an elevator that brings you (and your ski gear & luggage) to your unit, and then you find out the elevator is not working, that's not good. Many attempts to reach management yielded zero results. Overall it's a pretty good place stay, but considering the high cost and some of the aforementioned issues, I may or may not stay here again, depending on what other comparable units will end up being available at what cost for our next trip to Mammoth.

Fabulous Mammoth!

I visit every year and when in need of a rental, we always use Mammoth Reservations. They are awesome to work with. We really enjoyed our stay at Aspen Creek #311. The only thing I missed was an open balcony to sit and read and enjoy a "beverage". The unit was super clean and the location was quiet.

Very poorly decoated and breaking rules to add sleeping quarters on the porch.Furniture was very limiting.

Good but dated

It's nice to have a wet room for boots etc or hide out with plenty of children's books but unfortunately light bulbs were out. Overall the place is pretty good with high vaulted ceiling to seem spacious though for the price we paid, the carpet and flooring could use some updates. The transition between carpet and floor is ripped that my kids and I have pricked our feet many times and bled.

Great rental!!

Property is as described. Kitchen was stocked, and the unit had plenty of firewood. Covered parking is a plus, and elevator is a boon to haul luggage. Will definitely be back.

We loved the hiking trail just behind the unit we stayed in. Comfortable furniture. Not well ventilated. The ceiling fan in the bedroom helped. Cozy and Convenient

It's a bit dated as if 1992 was frozen in time - down to the magazines on the coffee table. That said, we appreciated the kitchen having basic staples no one wants to bring/buy - oil, salt/pepper, spices. Much appreciated. Not a terrible walk to the Eagle express ~10 mins, but the listing says there is a ski back trail to the complex - if there is, we sure couldn't find it, and there would need to be several tunnels if it existed. Condo folks - if you're reading this - please replace the coffee maker with one that works right! It just dribbles water down the middle of the grounds. Other than that, we'd recommend the place for sure.

Nicely appointed one bedroom with plenty of space.

Updated furniture and appliances, high ceilings, a short walk to Eagle make this a nice place to stay. The kitchen is dated as bathroom are a little old but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. We would defined stay here again.
