This charming Maltby-style home sits in the heart of Moonridge—right where all the fun begins! Minutes from the ski slopes, golf course, lake, Alpine Zoo, and the newly refreshed Moonridge Corridor, you'll never run out of things to do. Step right across the street to hop on the Rathbun Creek Trail, grab the ski shuttle just around the corner, or head over to Bear Mountain in no time. National Forest hiking and mountain biking trails are only a short stroll away, making this the perfect home base for your Big Bear adventures.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1200+ sq ft home with living room, smart TV, ceiling fan, dining table, beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 1 bath. First bedroom has a king bed and smart TV. Second bedroom has a queen bed and smart TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Stainless steel appliances, stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more

AMENITIES - Smart TVs with streaming apps, along with fast WiFi, board games, and card games. Relax by the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry room with stackable washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - Large fenced yard with horseshoes and corn hole surrounded by trees. Private hot tub under a gazebo. Front yard has a patio table with umbrella, firepit, additional seating, gas and charcoal barbecues.

Excellent Honeymoon!!

My wife and I decided to take a long weekend honeymoon to Big Bear, as we didn't have a chance to take one right after our wedding 2 yrs ago. All she wanted was a private cabin with a nice fireplace and a hot tub. This quaint little cabin definitely delivered. The beds were very comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was AMAZING, and the kitchen had all the comforts of home and then some!! The hot tub was warmed up and ready to go upon arrival and the property management was great!! We unfortunately locked ourselves out of the house around midnight Saturday and they sent someone right away to let us in!! Great experience at a great property! Thank you Cool Cabins!!

Relaxing weekend in great cabin

We came up for a relaxing weekend to recharge. The cabin in very nice and roomy. We did not use the 2nd bedroom but the primary was great with a king size bed and more than enough blankets for when it gets cold. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare your meals. We especially loved the HUGE fully fenced yard. Our dog loved playing out there and we were able to sit and relax on the nice table and chairs. There is also a hot tub, fire pit and horseshoe pit we never got to use but nice they are available. WiFi is fast Honestly this is the nicest cabin we have been in with all our rentals. Talking about going back soon.

Cute cabin, nice views. Great service. Little bit of ragey road drivers where it is located for some reason (close to parking lot for bear valley). But otherwise would stay again.

Great spot to hang out!

This was everything as advertised. We took our 2 small dogs and they loved the yard and we did too. Played horse shoes and corn hole and the trees gave some great shade. The inside was clean and comfy. We spent most of our time outside, love this place and love Big Bear! Would stay here again.

Great yard

Clean, tidy, we loved the yard and activities. Check the weather before you go to big bear. The heat was dependent on electricity, which was an issue for us the first day/night.

My dog and I had a great time

Very comfortable. HUGE bed in master bedroom. There was plenty of room for my 10-lb best friend, but he still chose to sleep on top of me most of the night LOL. The Internet was cutting out frequently. I notified the managers. Other than that, a pleasant stay.

Thanksgiving Blessing

We loved out stay. The cabin fit our needs perfectly, with a big yard for our dog and the hot tub. The location was excellent, by the trail and close to town. We enjoyed nightly fires in the fireplace. The kitchen, although small was really well equipped. I'd only suggest adding mixing bowls as there were none. The bathroom was small as well but met our needs. The mat in the shower was extremely slippery and two of us fell, so I would suggest, not using it, or replace it with one that actually sticks with the suction cups. We hope to one day stay at this cabin again.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed this home, especially the hot tub. Our only issue was that there was a lot of road work on an adjacent street. We had big trucks driving by the house from 7:00-4:00 every day. This won't last forever, but it made for a noisy stay for us.

Loved this cabin only issue many ants needs exterminating-we did not leave any food out but a couple things in the sink that weren't rinsed off totally in the morning had a ton of ants on them! There were also ants in the bathroom, etc. so don't know what the issue is other than that love the cabin

Did not stay the night

My husband and I (seniors) checked into this property, turned on the hot tub, unloaded the car and waited. 4 hours later the hot tub was only 93 degrees. Called the management Co. Cool Cabins and they checked it and said everything is fine. After another hour still not working. So they relocated us to another cabin at 9:00pm a few miles down the road. This was a major inconvenience when its pitch dark, dragging clothes and groceries up steps.The first night was not a fun one.
