This I the perfect house location for a beach vacation. 2 blocks away is beach access with a long walkway to the sand - great for pulling a toddler wagon. We went crabbing off the 12th St bridge which is 2 blocks the other direction. The house has everything you might need from umbrellas to beach towels. It’s very well maintained and the gourmet kitchen is fabulous. The bedrooms are all en suite and well furnished. Ample parking provided. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. We hope to stay at Summer House again!

Great stay

Of the 10 visits to Seaside, this 6/6 house is the best. Great rooms for 6 adults or 6 couples. All rooms have their own BR. The kitchen is a chef’s delight very well equipped. The location is lovely because it’s quieter toward the ends of the town but easy access to Broad street and the beach. I highly recommend it.

This house was LARGE!! We had 9 family members for our Seaside Gathering. Incredible that we each had our own bathroom! Awesome! The kitchen was great: size, stove/ovens, labels on all cupboards & drawers, tons of cooking items, & counter space was wonderful. Overall the Summer House was very clean, well-stocked, cute decor, lovely “secluded” back yard with large deck, close to beach, had beach chairs & wagon to haul our wood for nightly beach fires! A great time was had by all!!! We would rent this house again! Thank you!!!

Excellent hosts and home! The check-in process was smooth, with a welcome gift left by the hosts. The kitchen is AMAZING, with literally anything you could ever need, all very well labeled. The space is so great for extended family. We had our adult children and their spouses with us, and everyone had their own space (including their own bathroom!), but plenty of space for gathering and a big dining room table board games (or eating, if that's your thing :D). The location is perfect, with an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, and 15 minute walk to the tourist trap shopping district. We loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat!

Great stay in Seaside

We celebrated several happy occasions this year with a trip to Seaside - 6 adults and 4 grandkids (ages 10-19). The location was wonderful - at the north end of the Prom, close to beach access and about a 15-20 minute walk to the main street, Broadway.Because the house is located at the end of the Prom, the area is very quiet with not much traffic or people walking around. Our grandkids are old enough to go out on their own, which they did (walked to the downtown area, played volleyball on the beach, etc.).The house is old but there is plenty of room; every bedroom has its own bathroom and the kitchen is fully stocked. All 10 of us could sit at the dining room table without being crowded. Every drawer and light switch is labeled so it made looking for things very easy.There are a few steps to navigate on the first floor but stairs aren't a problem for our crew. The deck is lovely, we barbequed one of our meals, and some of us enjoyed the hot tub. There are two refrigerators which made storing our food very easy.The only thing I noticed was that there wasn't a place to set up a card table for playing games, bridge, doing a puzzle, etc. We weren't there long enough for it to be an issue for us but if that's an important thing to anyone, I couldn't figure out where to set up a card table and chairs.The house was clean and the owner is very responsive. We made lasting memories for our family.

Perfect Coastal Getaway For Our Family

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful Seaside home! The house is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed for large groups—our party of 10 had more than enough room to relax and enjoy. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a huge plus, and the layout allowed everyone to have their own space while still feeling connected.The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed to cook meals together, and we loved gathering around the large dining table. The outdoor space was a highlight—the hot tub and deck were wonderful!The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and close to the Seaside Promenade. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like beach towels, chairs, a beach wagon and even a Pack 'n Play for the little ones in our group.It truly felt like a home away from home and we very much enjoyed the stay.

Nice home

Nice, large, (kind of) funky and fun home. We had plenty of room for 10 family members. Hosts were easy to reach and were very accommodating. Neighborhood was nice. Great kitchen, close to shopping, restaurants and beach. We would like to stay again.

Anniversary Celebration with family

The house was perfect for our needs. There were three couples and three teenage children. Everyone had their own space and the dining area was large enough for us to gather for meals. The proximity to the handicapped beach access was nice as my husband had recent knee replacement. The promenade walkway into town was close and great for morning and evening walks. We would love to stay there again.

Perfect for All Big Gatherings!

This was my fourth year spending my birthday at this Seaside getaway! My whole family looks forward to the location every year! Each room is beautifully decorated and has its own ensuite bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have sitting rooms; one of these rooms has a day-bed with a pull-out bed, which was perfect for a 3-year-old. When it comes to kid's stuff, the house comes complete with a high chair, pack'n'play, wagon, beach towels, and sand toys. The kitchen is perfect for a family reunion or getaway with a fully stocked kitchen. There are plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, cookie sheets, serving dishes, silverware, placemats, and kitchen utensils. We love the double ovens and often use both at the same time! For the fair weather visits, there is a barbecue on the deck (we cooked burgers one day and steaks the next). The kitchen has plenty of barbecue utensils. The living room has comfortable seating for 6+. The dining room comfortably seats 14 people (12 at the dining room table). This is a comfortable space with a window seat and a cozy gas fireplace. We ate meals and played games in the dining room. The neighborhood is quiet and only a couple of easy blocks from the beach. It is just a short drive from downtown Seaside. We always have a lovely time in this vacation home! We cannot recommend it enough!

Nice Beach Weekend

All ten of us (5 couples) meet twice a year around the northwest. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay. A great place with bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone and only a couple of blocks to the beach.

Best stay in Seaside, Oregon!

Don’t pass on this house! It has everything you need and everything you didn’t know you needed. The house was spotless and spacious for 8 adults. We enjoyed all the extra amenities it offers. The patio out back was perfection and a great spot to unwind or drink your coffee.

lovely, large home - easy walk to the beach!

This was such a fun place to stay! Perfect any scenario where people desire their own space as well as common spaces to share, such as a girls weekend, or multi-generational family trip, or multiple families. Each bedroom has its own sitting area and bathroom, (amazing) and many have their own fireplace (bonus!). The kitchen is amazingly stocked with anything you need and more. It was clean and in a quiet neighborhood that felt very safe. Would definitely rent again.

Holiday family get away

The house was perfect for our 6 adults and 2 children, so much room! Everyone including the kids had their own bathroom. I have not seen such a well stocked rental before. The house is so close to the beach, short walk to the downtown area, restaurants, shops, brewery. We used the hot tub in the evenings to relax. Great place!

Beautiful home, perfect vacation

Everything was spot on. The space and the hot tub were great, it was less than two blocks from the ADA accessible beach access walkway on 12th. We received a notice that the owners were staying in the adjoining unit but aside from being very responsive to our questions didn't bother us at all. The reviews are corect in that the kitchen has everything a group of humans could want and more! We ended up making pizzas in the twin ovens! Honestly I felt kind of guilty as we left 40 minutes later than expected and I had to quiet down a couple of unruly guests but the hosts very much took it in stride (thanks!!). For the price what you get for this property is incredible with regards to location, bedrooms and bathrooms, and amenities. Cannot recommend enough!

Seaside Retreat

This is an AMAZING house! The kitchen is set up with more supplies than I could ever have hoped! Easy walk to the beach and Promenade and the kids loved the hot tub. We will DEFINITELY be returning!

Loved Our Week at the Beach

A great property with lots of room for families. 6 bedrooms each with its own bathroom, a large dining room, kitchen/family room, sitting room, deck,hot tub and a block to the beach. A short walk along the beachfront promenade takes you to downtown Seaside. A great place to visit!

Such a great place!!

We had a wonderful time vacationing with our grown children. Each room is its own suite so was perfect for us. There are lots of spaces to gather or spread out both inside and out, and just two short blocks to the beach/boardwalk. Jance was an amazing host from sweet treats on arrival to helpful communications during our stay and then over-and-above assistance mailing some forgotten items. 😍 We hope to stay again one day soon!
