Florida Vacay Rentals welcomes you to the "Atlantic Abode" condo at Shorehom by the Sea! This 2/2 condo lives up to it's name and has been completely renovated with all new furniture, an updated kitchen, new floors, and beachy blue decor. Located on the second floor, lifting you just above the plush palm dunes and providing guests with breathtaking Eastern and Southern views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Condo was just as the pictures showed it to be. Lights were on for us making it feel very inviting. It has everything you need for an amazing stay and vacation. Host is extremely prompt and friendly if you need to ask any questions. Definitely recommend and will start again if we need to travel to the East coast in Florida!

Everything was great other than the pool not being able to heat. The staff there said it was set to 84 but it was cold the whole time we were there. Other then that it was great the view was amazing!

We’re sorry the pool temperature didn’t meet your expectations during your visit. The pool is set to heat to 84°, but with the overnight temperatures dropping to near freezing while you were here, the heating system unfortunately wasn’t able to maintain that temperature consistently. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, Beau! This property has a bulk cable package and all condos do indeed have cable on their TVs. Our team is available to assist in troubleshooting TVs every day from 9am to 9pm! Many times issues with cable can be easily fixed by resetting the cable box or switching the input.

Great location and perfect beach condo!
We have been to NSB many times but this was our first time staying at Shoreham By The Sea. Great property and great condo! Even though the complex was prepping for renovations, everything was accessible. The condo itself was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed during the week. We used the gas grills downstairs several times and the kitchen had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the large sectional for movie nights. A major bonus was the 4th of July fireworks display put on by the residents of the surrounding condos. It was the best 4th of July beach fireworks we have ever experienced!

Disappointed.
Check-in process was easy but communication from Florida Vacay was slow and sometimes unresponsive. The stairwell was overrun by a large swarm of bees that were living inside of the lower units wall. The inside of our condo unit was infested with small roaches that came out at night and in the early morning. The entire building was without running water one of the mornings of our trip. We’ve done “under construction” rentals in the past and owners or property managers have been very accommodating, this was NOT one of those moments.

Mike, we are sorry to hear your feedback from your recent stay with us. When condos are impacted by construction, we always notify our guests of the construction taking place and the possible impact it may have on their stay. As noted in your review, you were aware that the building was under construction and were notified of the temporary water shut off due to the pipe repair. Things out of our control, like water shut offs, can come up to condos being worked on which is why we offer discounted rates, like you were able to take advantage of for your stay.
We are happy to report that the pest control issue noted has been resolved. The bees were also safely relocated by a professional and are no longer residing on site.

Beautiful condo
I appreciate the love and care that the owners have obviously put into this unit at Shoreham by the Sea. The condo was nicely appointed with every possible item needed to make the guest stay comfortable and convenient. The cleanliness was better than any of our other rentals over the years. The decor was done in a tasteful coastal theme, with newish and comfortable furnishings. It appeared to be recently decorated with fresh paintwork and LVP floors. The second floor vantage point of the beach from the generously sized patio was amazing and unobstructed. The supports for the upcoming building renovation that were on the patio didn’t bother us from the inside of the unit. However, the general condition of the exterior of the building was poor. The pool was lovely and access to the beach a very short walk down a private boardwalk. Unfortunately the sister (North) building was undergoing significant work, of which we were made aware before booking. During working hours, roughly 8am-4pm, the noise and concrete dust was off putting and drove us down to the beach where we did not hear the noise. When the workers took lunch or ended their day we went back to the pool. Our stay included a weekend and there was no construction at that time.

Nice Location - Misleading description
The interior of the property has had recent updates and is in nice shape with nice décor. It has a very comfortable feel to it. It is in a very nice area of New Smyrna Beach. The property had beach chairs that were very helpful and the needed amenities. The beach is close and perfect for small children to play. There was not really any cabinet storage or a food pantry for dry food, so that got a bit tricky.
A big issue I had with this property is that the listing grossly understates the "Additional Supports" on the balcony as well as the exterior condition of the property. While there is a picture looking from the inside of the property to outside deck, the supports are not easy to see in the lighting and defiantly not a true representation of what you will see when you arrive. The listing pictures of the outside of the building do not show the supports and appear to have been taken when the building was in better shape. In my opinion this is a misrepresentation of the property. When we arrived at the property, I thought we must have been at the wrong location. Both buildings have seven support arms on each balcony with additional support arms in walkways. The building looks like it is under construction but currently it is not. It appears that the outside of the building has had deferred maintenance for some time. (This is the only building in the area that looks like this). We were told by other condo owners, that the supports are temporarily in place until later this fall when construction begins on the balconies of the property. The owners stated they were put in place due to multiple balcony supports failing, and visually you can see several of the original supports that are missing on balconies. The listing company did not disclose property these issues nor the possible safety issues that exist on this property.

We are disappointed to receive your 2 star review based on the shoring poles on the exterior of the condo. Pictures and information regarding the poles are included in the listing and additional information is sent out in a separate email at the time of booking. At no time would our staff inform you that “ they were put in place due to multiple balcony supports failing” as they were installed in preparation for the upcoming construction. They are regularly inspected by engineers and do not present a safety issue. As you can see from other reviews prior to and more recent than this guest’s stay, we work hard to give our guests realistic expectations of our condos to earn 5 star reviews. “Beach Wishes” from the Florida Vacay Team

Fantastic Condo
Don’t let the outside of this condo throw you off, the inside is absolutely fabulous. Very clean and beautiful, comfortable, furnishings. The condo had everything we needed for the beach which made our packing very easy. The beach was just steps away and pool was great in the hot afternoon. Just 2 miles from one of our favorite restaurants, JPs Fish Camp, while still close to all the activities on Flagler Avenue.
