Relax and Unwind at peaceful Bundeena Retreat close to beaches and bushland

Bundeena Retreat is a peaceful, fully renovated and air-conditioned, two bedroom stand-alone cottage situated on the hill at Cabbage Tree point in beautiful Bundeena which is only one hour from Sydney by car, ferry and train. Only minutes walk from both Bonnie Vale and Hordens Beaches, just a short walk to magnificent cliff-top views, bushwalking tracks and Bundeena village. Ideally located with easy access to a number of wonderful walking and hiking tracks within the Royal National Park.

The Space
The Bundeena Retreat cottage is beautifully presented having been completely renovated with a stylish modern kitchen and updated bathroom, two large bedrooms plus a comfortable open plan, air-conditioned living area. Perfect for a romantic couple or 2 couples, or a family with children, plus a pet is welcome (small dogs up to 6 kgs), as well as business travelers looking for an active getaway, Bundeena Retreat is the perfect location to relax, or get active and enjoy everything this pristine and very private local area has to offer, all surrounded by beautiful local bushland and wonderful birdlife.

The Residence
Is a fully self-contained and completely updated 2 bedroom cottage (capable of sleeping up to 6 people) with two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is one pull-out double sofa bed plus a toddler-sized sofa bed, in addition to laundry facilities (washer, dryer, iron) on site.

Other Things To Note
The property is air-conditioned which ensures your comfort all year round. All linen, towels, etc. are provided for your convenience. Further details on the property and the local area are available in the on-site manual).
Access to the washing machine and dryer (or Hills Hoist clothesline), plus an iron is available to all guests.
On-site / off-street parking is available.
An outdoor setting with BBQ is provided plus the property has a large and leafy, secured yard which is perfect for a small pet and for sitting outside and relaxing while listening to the myriad of birdlife.

Getting There
Approximately 1-hour drive from Sydney and nestled in the Royal National Park.
NB: GUESTS DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE A PARK PERMIT TO COME TO BUNDEENA!
Access is also available via Cronulla Ferries.

Always a restful stay

We love staying at this property. It’s very quiet and spotless and just a short walk from Horderns Beach. The back garden is fabulous with bird life everywhere to enjoy. Thank you Bevan.

Great beach getaway

We had a lovely time here! So close to the beach; roomy bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom nicely renovated; we were even able to check-in earlier than expected which was much appreciated. Spacious living space and backyard was perfect for kids to get their wiggles out.We loved watching the kookaburras in the morning and enjoyed the quiet street. Definitely will be booking again! Thank you!

Great location, quiet and convenient

Bonnie Vale has all we need. Great location. I didn’t have to use my car at all. Walk to beach, Ferry to Sydney, walk to Royal National Park. Communication with owner was always easy and pleasant. Would happily stay here again.

Lovely location. Simple beach cottage. Frustration with back sliding door (needing 2 hands to open). Expectation for guests to clean up after themselves is fine until it comes to vacuuming! Ran out of time. Also, outdoor rubbish bin was already full. ****Most importantly, I lost a small black earring box with very personal jewellery. Please let me know if you have found it. Great holiday vibe

This house and yard is in a great location in Bundeena, which feels like a seaside holiday town but with easy access to a national park and a very large city. The house doesn't look like much from the outside but is clean and comfortable with a beachy vibe on the inside. We really enjoyed our stay a lot.

Quiet location

Very pleasant property. A few minor fixes required (sliding door and window blind). Great access to beaches and lookout if you don't mind steps. Easy walk along beach to Bundeena township.

Enjoyable weekend

The owners Carol and Bevan were very communicable, enabling the booking process and settling in period to be smooth. The property was extremely clean and well appointed and the garden was fabulous for our dog and grandson. The property is located in close proximity to the beach and bush walks. I would highly recommend this property.
