Mountain Cabin near The Village, Private Balcony, Steps From The On-site Pool

Mammoth Estates is located in the heart of it all, walking distance to the Village at Mammoth, in a quaint and quiet forest mountain setting. This three-bedroom, two-bath property features gondola views and a lovely outside bench on the balcony above the trees. The unit is set up to be family friendly, and offers a spacious two story layout. On the upper level is the open plan living room with cozy propane fireplace, and large sectional couch and dining area for six. Enjoy the bonus den area off the kitchen where you can sit and read or book or sip on your morning coffee, or the kids can take over. This den features a Queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. There is a full bath on the upper level with walk-in shower. All three bedrooms are on the lower floor, the primary featuring a King bed with private en-suite vanity. The second bedroom features a Queen bed, and the other last bedroom with two Twins and games for the kids. The third full bathroom with tub/shower combo is accessed from the hall. You can enjoy the upper private patio and take in the forest setting. This unit sleeps a maximum of 8 people, is non-smoking and pets are not permitted. The unit is in close proximity to all of Mammoth Estates amenities, including outdoor pool (Summer only), outdoor year-round hot tub and recreation room with a pool table, ping pong, coin operated laundry facilities. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Our calendar is updated in real time. Great location close to the Village and Canyon Lodge. Very comfortable with the bedrooms on the ground floor and living, dining and kitchen areas upstairs. There were a lot of other guests parking on the perimeter of the property however we were always able to find a spot. Overall a wonderful experience.

It is a little bit of a walk to the Village wearing ski boots and carrying skis. Snowboarders would have no problem.

The condo was very dated and had a weird smell. The upstairs bathroom shower didn’t drain well. The bathroom fixtures were old and sprayed all over the place. The stairs were very loud. There were clothes found in one of the bedrooms in a bed from previous guests.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: #122 is a two-story townhouse. It's located in the middle of the complex, and can be hard to find the front door (do a search for a Mammoth Estates map). The place is spacious with 3 bedrooms and comfortable beds; however, the pullout sofa is in bad shape for sleeping. There is only one TV to share in the living room. Dining table seats 6, plus 3 barstools. The kitchen is equipped with the essentials, including toaster, blender, and Keurig pot+pod coffeemaker. Be cautious that the latches to the shower/toilet doors in the downstairs jack-and-jill bathroom don't catch and can be pushed open at any time. Although the overall feel was a little dated, it was comfortable for our family of 5 adults.

Very outdated

The beds were very uncomfortable, all 3 bedrooms share a single bathroom downstairs with a second bathroom upstairs. It is very dated for the price and overpriced for the low quality of the beds. There is water damage in the ceiling. Parking is very challenging, there are no parking spots in the immediate area, so the only option is to park on the road.

Thanks for the comments. This condo is an original as per the photos, but of course it is in a prime location walking distance to the Village and Gondola. That is correct that parking is on the roadside, that is the designated parking area for access to this unit. The location is great and walking distance from the Village. We did not have to drive at all during our stay, which is great - just walk to the Gondola at the village and go skiing from there. Overall the unit was clean and comfortable.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were some positives about this rental but we would not stay here again. We cleaned the doorknobs abs bannisters ourselves and they were extremely dirty. The fridge has a bad smell which we reported. Upon arrival the stairs were buried in snow and we could barely get in. There was no assigned parking spot even though we were told there was one in front of the unit upon check in. Arriving in the dark and during a storm with no parking spot was really frustrating. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the location was great.
