Opening in July 2015, built in 1872 by Reginald Wyndham from Wyndham Estate, The house has been renovated to it's 1872 glory and also provides the luxuries expected of a 21st century 5 star hotel set high on a ridge overlooking the Hunter Valley and the Hunter River.

We offer an experience of a boutique hotel, more than just a room. We only accommodate adults providing a restful environment.

Close to Pokolbin, in the Hunter Valley - the main wine growing areas, wineries, concert venues (Bimbadgen Estate, Hope Estate & Roche Estate) and restaurants.

We have available four spacious suites each accommodating 2 or 3 adults only. - please check out our website for details.
Included in the accommodation rate for all guests are
- a-la-carte cooked country breakfast;
- complementary bottled water replaced daily;

- locally made toiletries;
- bathrobe and slippers for your use throughout your stay;

Lovely old house in the country

What a lovely place to stay, full of history and nice decor. Hosts were wonderful and helpful. We slept soundly in the very quiet comfy bed.

Quality Bed and breakfast with lots of personal touches

From the moment we arrived we were treated as special guests - with no detail overlooked . The hosts Richard and Mark were welcoming , generous and meticulous while being relaxed and fun. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful , bed comfy and the beautiful garden was visible from every room . We would thoroughly recommend Leconfield House . We came up for a concert and dinner at a local restaurant and were able to secure door to door transport which was fabulous .

An absolute gem

Even before we arrived, I knew we would have a great experience, mainly because of a series of email exchanges with Richard. On arrival and for 5he 2 days we were there, we were impressed with the detail and thoughtfulness of this hospitality. Beautiful house on top of a hill, close to the vieneyards and concert venue, excellent breakfasts and the added extra of transport to and from bimbadgen made this a stay to remember. Thanks Richard and Mark!

Surprise getaway for partner

I’d planned this stay as a surprise weekend away for my partner. She absolutely loved it. The hosts Richard and Mark were terrific - they really went out of their way to tell us the history of the place and make us feel at home. The breakfast was superb and the view from the balcony was stunning. One of the best bed and breakfast stays I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend Leconfield House for a really memorable experience. I’m now in credit with my partner for a long, long time.

I love the personal service provided by Mark and Richard. They made the weekend so enjoyable. The attention to detail from the dinner to the decor to the chocolates and Port at the end of the night. I would highly recommend leconfield House to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway
