A break from the grind

When we arrived for my son's 8th birthday (he wanted a vacation where he could see a river AND a mountain) the host showed all three of my children how to catch crawfish in the irrigation canal that runs next to the property. The boys were delighted and spent the rest of our week-long stay hunting for various life forms (bugs, frogs, crabs, etc) in the canal. The host also shared with us some of his freshly grown produce (which was delicious!) and he was able to give us some great recommendations for places to go see nearby with the kids. The area is beautiful and so quiet and relaxing. On clear days you can easily see Mt. Fuji from the upstairs area. The river is close by and there are lots of places to eat at and shop for any necessities that you may have forgotten to bring. The house had lots of amenities, (coffee, tea, free wi-fi and tv with netflix, etc.) as well as everything you need to cook a lovely meal. There is a rice cooker and clothes washer available. The host speaks English well and can help you with whatever you need. Check out is easy to follow. The outdoor space is particularly wonderful and we had fun sitting by the fire every night. We plan to return and would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway to reconnect with family.

Thank you very much for using our service. We would be happy if our facility was of some use to you during your family vacation. Since it is an old private house, I was worried that there would be various inconveniences. We would be happy if you could experience life in the Japanese countryside by going fishing in the river or catching insects in the fields. Please come again! I was very happy to meet everyone!
