Great stay

It was further out than we wanted but we were limited since it was the 4th. Great place and it accommodated everything we needed for our short weekend stay

Great stay

Great location, very clean, plenty of space for everyone. Loved sitting on the porch in the mornings next to the water listening to the birds. Beautiful! Close to resturants and a great beach access!

Lovely Beach house in the perfect location for our needs!

The property was great! We really enjoyed the upstairs deck, where we watched birds catch fish! It met our needs/expectations for the trip perfectly 😊

Cozy Crab Shack was just what we wanted

Our party of 7 was comfortable and enjoyed the property very much. We were there for a family reunion and the property was in the perfect location for us. The view from the upstairs deck was great!! Our host was responsive and efficient when we made contact 😊

They stated that the user just needs to make sure that the door to the washer is closed tightly! Family getaway

House was perfect for our group. Clean and lots of space. Only thing we found was there was no where close to fish and public access to beach closed at dusk.

Perfect place for my husband and his work crew!

The Cozy Crab Shack was perfect....comfy & cozy. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom, making morning work prep and evening unwind quick and ease. Thanks Todd for staying in touch from pre check-in to post check-out. See you next week : )

Memorial day vacation

The property was great. Just bring towels and the shower cyrtains dont go all the way to floor and it splashes out so bring extra towels. Lol. The town was nice. Lots of police everywhere so its safe. Just dont speed any where around there, also its more a family enviroment everything clises between 7-9 which it tough. But overall great

Son's Wedding

The purpose of our trip was for my son's wedding at Merrell Estates and Gardens. This house was a perfect location to the venue and accommodated our family/friends perfectly. The host was very gracious and perfect to work with. The only issue, which I knew ahead of time was only having space for two vehicles. With the groom and his groomsmen getting ready and hanging out at our house, this took some planning to get them all there and to the venue!!!! My son shuttling there and a limo was to the venue was our solution! :) After the wedding, my son left his cologne at the house once we had checked out and the host and cleaning lady let him meet the next day to get it!! Also, great location to some fantastic restaurants and halfway between Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach which we travelled both ways often.

Property is not as advertised- no beach access

Incredibly disappointed! We arrived to find the property is directly on the street, surrounding structures in poor condition and included a single wide trailer, there were no sidewalks and NO access to the beach (unless you get in your car, drive to the beach and try to find public parking). Property is Pine Knoll Shores. I’m still waiting to hear back from Evolve management and have given up communication efforts with the property manager. When we arrived there were at least 15 large black flies in the kitchen/porch entryway. The decor in the rental was very nice. We immediately notified the property manager and the 3rd party management that we would not be staying as the property wasn’t as advertised and we planned a 4 night stay with our adult children from various states at the beach, this was such a disappointment!! Communication (arguing/voices raised) with the property manager (Brandon) was unprofessional and unhelpful. We left within 30 mins and moved to another location.

Kelly, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: "Kelly, we’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. - The property is located on an Island so does not have sidewalks like a typical house. The trailer was there before we owned the property. - The listing doesn't state direct access to the beach or private access. It is as advertised. - We have a pest control company out regularly and no flies were found inside the unit. - Our Property Manager is professional and has never received other complaints from guests. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays."

Fall Fishing Trip - Tribute to my late Dad.

Great place to stay!!! The layout was perfect for my family and my best friend who stayed with us. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Good location with easy access to most everything you need to get to.

Great location and house!

Rented for the weekend. Walkable to local restaurants and shops. Minor issues with internet because of a storm, but manager came out within 20 min to get it fixed. Definitely recommend!

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful time at "The Cozy Crab Shack". The place was clean and conveniently located near anything we needed. The beach was very close by and the accommodations were comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Quiet Beach Stay

Nice place to stay for a family

All in all it was pretty good. Could have been brought up a few notches by having some attention to quality and comfort. The bath towels were thin and small. For a family of 9 staying there and we could have had 10, they were minimal and we went out and bought towels to use. The garbages were full when we arrived and not due to be emptied for a few days. The property manager had it taken care of shortly after we alerted them to the problem. We also were challenged with the amount of toilet passed that was left for us to use, we had three bathrooms and five rolls of toilet paper. There also were not enough bowls for a family our size so we bought some bowls to use. The yard was a good size but we had to keep our dog on a leash the whole time. Beach access is a little bit of a walk and has a lot of stairs but overall beautiful. Nice to walk down to the Crabshack for dinner and then to Scoops for icecream dessert. Would we stay again? Probably not. We had family that rented a few other houses in the same area that were bigger and better furnished (full size washer and dryers for example) for the same price and even less expensive. We might come back and use this house if the cost was half the price, maybe a different season.

Nice place at a affordable price

Even though it rained our whole trip it was a nice place and the owner was accommodating and there to help when needed.
