Perfect Weekend

Beautiful property! It is perfect for two people. Clean and linens and towels are provided. The kitchen and bathroom are clean as well. The location is great - it is a quick walk down to the Pier, other restaurants, and stores. We hope to come back again!

Nice place close to beach and town center

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this property which is small but has everything you need. Everything is modern and works well. Location is a block from the beach and a short walk to the center of town. I am about 5’ 8” so the sloping roof was not an issue but those above 6 feet may struggle. The train line runs directly behind the property which is noisy during the day but no issue at night especially as the bedroom is in the front.

Very clean and remodeled

Great location to walk to the beach or to the pier. The top floor requires many steps so if you have a hard time with mobility this would not work for you. We loved it! So clean and well stocked with dishes, appliances and cookware. The recliners are the bomb! Bed was comfortable as well. Two air conditioners which kept us comfortable. The site is on point with their description and photos.

Clean, but noisy

I gave the property a high rating because it was very clean. We were on the top floor which was fine until there were guest underneath. It is very loud. You can certainly hear the next floor people talking.

Great get-away

Loved this place. Close to the beach, very clean, all the amenities I would need. Creative maximization of a small space. Didn't feel cramped at all. Perfect get-away!

Cute little place

We had a nice stay in the 3rd floor apartment. It was just right for a couple. The bed was not super comfy, hopefully owner will replace with better quality mattress. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

Perfect spot for 2 people

This loft/attic apartment is the perfect size for a couple! We loved the keyless lock as it meant we didn’t have to worry about losing a key. We did bring our own utensils and other kitchen items, but there were items provided; just check the dishwasher before you think there’s nothing there! The recliners were amazingly comfortable, and the cupholder and underneath lights made wonderful night lights for middle of the night trips to the bathroom. We loved having a Keurig there as well! The location was perfect- just a short walk to the beach and to a nearby convenience store, a bit of a longer walk to the “main drag” and Pier but SO worth it! Overall for a couple looking to get away to the beach, this is a comfortable and perfect spot, we enjoyed our stay immensely!

Perfect for 1-2 people

Great location and a clean and well appointed apartment. Kitchen well equipped and roomy bathroom. Fresh paint and new appliances and furniture. Very narrow with very low slanted ceilings - you are in the eaves of the house up three flights of rickety stairs. Host was responsive. One block to beach.

Great Stay!

Perfect for two people! Spotless and has everything you need! Beach is right across the street, stores and restaurants are an easy walk. The apartment was nicely laid out and the outdoor space was great !

Wonderful work from anywhere stay!

I have the ability to work from anywhere and wanted to from the beach. This was the perfect location and size for me for the week. I loved that it is a short walk across the street to the beach. The apartment was spotless and comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower, plenty of parking in the back. I would recommend a starter pack of paper products and hand soap as a suggestion. The bed was comfortable and there are plenty of towels provided. If I come back to OOB I’ll stay here!

Perfect place for our vacation

This property is clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything we needed, it is close to the beach and all that Old Orchard Beach has to offer. Easy check-in started our week off right. This was a perfect home base for our Maine vacation. I would definitely stay here, or at one of the owner’s other properties the next time we come to Maine.

We loved our stay in this cute upstairs apartment. It is fresh and clean and newly remodeled. It is very well outfitted and the WiFi. It is perfect for just two people. It takes some getting used to the train tracks behind the house, but it runs through all of Old Orchard Beach, so there is no getting away from it.

Perfect for a couples stay

The place did what it was supposed to do, offer us a home away from home while we were on vacation. It was very cozy and was cooled down for us when we arrived. The dishwasher water line was shut off when we arrived but it was easy to access. There was a sufficient amount of towels for us to use throughout the week. The bed was comfortable. The chairs were a great place for a afternoon nap. The shower had seating which was a plus and was spacious. Everything had a modern look to it. The kuerig was nice, perfect size for our stay. We moved a few things around for our convenience. The trash can to the kitchen closet. I don't like looking at a trash can. And the seating at the bottom of the bed we used for the extra pillows from the bed. We had to turn the a/c unit in another direction as it blew straight towards my face. A few things I would add for guests conscience: ice cube trays in the freezer, a soap dish in the bathroom, some shelving in the closet (we don't hang most of our clothes). If we would return to Maine, we would definitely look into staying here again.

Spring Trip

We enjoyed our stay very much. It seemed to be a newly remodeled unit. It was very clean and in a great location, with the beach just steps away! There were some basic items missing, that I am accustomed to having included to start (i.e. paper towels, trash bags), but those things probably accumulate as there are more and more guests. The house was well stocked otherwise! We would definitely return.
