Such a lovely, comfy, homey well decorated and self contained cottage. We had the best time, location was perfect to appreciate the beauty of the pacific coast. We hope to return at some time int eh future.

So Delightful!

We loved our visit to this home and area. The home was well equipped: plentiful towels (for beach and hot tub!), kitchen well stocked-we loved the spice rack and so many cooking utensils!The beds were comfortable and all directions for the home were easy to understand.Thanks for making our bucketlist trip so comfortable and easy.

Upon arrival the landscaping caught our eyes with the lovely flowers and decor. As we opened the door, lovely decor and a welcoming atmosphere greeted us. Each room was decorated as if an interior designer had specially thought of each detail. The comfort of the beds along with easy to access bathing made our stay very enjoyable. We would love to have the opportunity to stay again. Thank you.

We were very happy with house. Everything was clean and in great shape. The decor was bright and ocean themed. The she shed came in handy.

Comfy and clean home

We really enjoyed the house and hot tub. It was clean and cozy with a full kitchen. The only downside was the area was a little rundown, but the house was great. I think it was worth what we paid for.

Great place to stay near the Redwoods!

The place was clean and in close proximity to the beach and only a 20 min drive from some of the Redwood trails. Beds were ok. Enough space for our party of 4 adults and 2 young kids. It was nice having a hot tub! Only problem we encountered was ants.

Cutest Beach Home

We had a wonderful time visiting the Redwoods and the beach. Loved that we were centrally located to everything we wanted to go see and do. Home is cute as a button. But do agree with some other comments. Pillows definitely need updated. Ended up buying our own and using them for our stay. And the ants are still bad. Mostly in the spare bedroom and closet. But overall we had an amazing stay. Thank you so much.

Great place!

The house was clean, updated, and was stocked with the necessities needed for people traveling out of state. Very close to the coast and redwoods. The hot tub was a huge hit after hiking all day!

Beautifully appointed but for the beds

This house is conveniently located for daily excursions to the beach or into the Redwoods. The house is clean, beautifully appointed and had lots of room for our group of 4 adults and 1 toddler to spread out and relax. The hot tub was a wonderful way to unwind at the end of the day but a slow leak required regular top offs with water. The onsite washer and drier was very convenient! The only reason for the 3 star review is the beds. They are either way too soft or super hard and missing rail supports. Upgraded beds would make this home perfection.

Redwoods getaway

Place was absolutely perfect, too nice for area! Owners thought of little extras others dont bother with. Jacuzzi was well heated & really came in handy after a full day of walking. Would highly recommend to others & happily return if ever back in area

Green Family Getaway

I came for a relaxing getaway with 5 of my daughters. We enjoyed it so much and plan on another trip here. The house was beautiful just like the pictures. Whenever I had questions beforehand Tabreena was very nice and quick to get back to me. Overall a wonderful weekend had by all

Beautiful and cozy house

Everything was lovely and cozy. The master bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever stayed in -- and it was heated! The hot tub was great after a long rainy day in the Redwood Forest. The living room was cozy - shame that the fireplace wasn't available though. We loved the house though!

Clean and just what we needed.

This was a great place for our family. It was clean and had everything we needed. Nothing for our 2 year old to get into and puzzles and TV to keep our teenager happy. Nice recently updated home. Quick drive to the ocean and local hot spots. Communication with hosts was quick and efficient. Would recommend and would stay here again!

Overview

Overall it was pretty nice. There was an aunt problem and we had to buy spray to kill them. Also, there was hair on the sheets in the master bedroom and we also had to buy new sheets to put on the bed which was very disturbing.

A gem of a property

Beautiful home- finishes are great and it is such a cozy place to come home to after being at the beach or hiking the redwoods all day! Especially coming home and being able to hang out in the hot tub and cook out. The town area is a bit lackluster so we found we were driving to places more than walking to town- but the icecream shop had great food and the brewery in town was also delicious and a great stop after visiting the lighthouse. My daughter loved sleeping in her own space out in the "she-shed" in the fenced-in backyard. The heat lamps in the bathrooms were a dream when showering on a chilly night and the kitchen was fully stocked so we could cook breakfast before starting our adventures for the day. Would stay here again:)

Nice place

It was a nice place at a decent location. The neighbors were blowing off giant fireworks right by my vehicle 2 days past 4th of July. The weather in crescent city is not warm in July and knowing this i really wanted a fireplace...well it did not work, itcwas listed as an amenity. So that was a bummer. Tried both beds, one was super squeaky and the other was very old and sagged. The hot tub sounded great...not so much. Several jets did not work and the cover must have weighed 100lbs, with no assist. So be sure you have 2 people to manage the cover. Also, be warned there were exorbitant cleaning fees and insurance required. Even though they basically want you to do a bunch of prep cleaning. Lastly, we were about to walk out the door at 11:05 and the cleaning person came right in. I know we were a few minutes behind but really? That is just beyond rude, not even a knock. I did say she could come on in as we were walking out...she did not. We left.
