Condo was nice but some issues
I booked through VRBO and anytime I messaged the management company through the app (only way to communicate) I got no response. They provided no details as to what we needed to do to check in. I eventually called the complex as that was the only number listed on VRBO, they were so nice but couldn't help since I booked through VRBO. Since we went during off season the office closed at 2pm but check in isn't until 4pm. We didn't actually arrive at the condo until 5pm and thankfully the gate attendant had an envelope for us. It would have been nice to have an email telling us what to expect or do.
The condo looked exactly as advertised, it was very nice, the views were beautiful. The issues include it is right next to the elevator so you hear it all day and night anytime it is used and it is not quiet. At night you will need a fan or noise machine/app to drown out the noise and even then it can still be heard as the master bedroom wall and bed is right next to it. Also, the floors of the condo where disgusting. My feet were black after I walked around barefoot the first evening, I wore shoes the rest of the time. Housekeeping should be instructed to actually mop the floors, not just sweep them. The kitchen items were a bit random but they had enough things to function. These items were missing and I have never not had these items when going to a condo: no salt and pepper, no scissors, no knife set, you will need to bring these with you if you plan on cooking in the condo.
The elevator noise was the biggest issue for me. The master bedroom and bed are on the elevator wall. It can be heard throughout the condo but was loudest there.
The staff we incountered at the complex were very friendly and helpful. They have 1 heated pool (we went during December) and several access points to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay aside from these few issues.
