Family Vacation

Beautiful water with very nice swimming. Lilly pad and boats were nice to have access to. Gwen’s added touches like having worms for fishing ready for us at arrival, was very nice.

Amazing getaway weekend!

Our family really enjoyed our time at the cottage. There is something to do for every age. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. The river is right in front of the cottage and everything is super accessible. Groceries and amenities are nearby. We loved our stay 😊

Has Everything You Need and More

This lovely cottage is clean and had everything we needed and more...nice little beach area, great water toys, good fishing and excellent communication with the owner. Water was nice and clean for swimming. Enjoyed it very much.

Petawawa cottage stay

Stayed at this beautiful place in July of 2023. Loved the location, felt remote enough but literally 3 minutes from town. Had lots of activities including board games, a trampoline, kayaks, a Canoe, SUP, and a floating Lilly pad. Beautiful view. Saw helicopters regularly which was new and exciting for us. Communication was great and check in/check out was simple and easy. Highly recommend!

Petawawa is a quiet area so if you are looking for lots to do find another location. This cottage met our needs but could’ve been cleaner. We had to wash several items before using. The bathroom could use a grab bar for us older people.

By the lake

The place was very lovely, simple but great. There is no a/c and we were there during a heat wave however basement stays nice and cool. We really enjoyed the water, kayak, and floating pad (kids loved). I would recommend getting an umbrella for the outdoor table as for the red heads in my family, they require some shade! Lol and maybe an extra standing fan. The host was fantastic at getting back to any questions I had.

What a great little gem on Percy Lake, Petawawa! Check-in was a breeze, and our host, Gwen, an excellent communicator. Full size, modern kitchen appliances made what meal prep we did as easy as home.Though in the middle of a heat wave the cottage was reasonably comfortable on the main level with the help of a couple of fans and breeze from the lake. The basement level was very comfortably dry and cool.SO. MUCH. FUN, was had with the water toys...especially the floating Lily Pad! What a great invention and addition to the cottage's amenities! We will definitely consider staying again.

A special location

We had a fantastic stay! We were able to enjoy the beach, water toys, backyard area, and of course the fire pit! A perfect location for a romantic getaway or to have some fun with friends!

A nice spot for a quick family getaway

This is a great spot for families - lots of room to spread out and plenty of things to occupy your time. We loved the wood stove and the firepit - a great way to slow down and get caught up with each other.
