We’ve waived the cleaning fees!!2 bedroom, main floor house. Centrally located in Sydney River, a great jumping off point to tour our fair island. Walking distance to all amenities including groceries, pharmacy, bars and restaurants. Enjoy the peacefully quite back yard while replaying the adventures of the day. Whether touring the island or enjoying downtown Sydney. This accommodation is a great starting point to enjoy your vacation to the fullest. We hope you enjoy

We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the place was. Traveling from overseas, we were looking for a Cape Breton experience and this place ticked off all the boxes. Very charming and comfortable.

Clean and comfortable

Spacious and clean property that we used as base camp for day trips. Very convient to the highway, gas station, and shops.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything that was needed was provided. Great communication with Charlene. It was the perfect spot for connecting with our family that live in the area. Beds were comfy and air conditioning kept us comfortable during the hot summer. We were so happy to find a place that accepts pets also so our puppy came along! Thanks again Charlene. We look forward to staying again soon!

The place was clean, the living room reclining sofa was lovely to relax in. The king bed was very comfortable. Love having the walk-in shower as we have some mobility issues. The decks out front and back allowed you to catch the morning sun out back & the afternoon sun in the front. A great place to relax with a book if we weren't out exploring the Cape Breton scenes. This place is centrally located to go to Sydney, Louisburg and for getting to the Cabot Trail. The host responded in a timely way to any questions we had about the place.

Good beds, excellent supply of kitchen utensils and towels. Nice to have a washer/dryer. Seems to have been under renovation recently and not everything finished. Excellent communication with host.

Best place to stay at with the most wonderful host in the world

Let me say the location of the property is very convenient as it has access to a convenience store, hospital, day care, salon, bus stop right across the street and also the house had everything in it including some kitchen appliances to toiletries ready. The thing that made the best experience for us was our host who were so warm and welcoming from the moment we landed in Sydney till day. I would like to thank Charlene and Donald for the best experience in Canada and to share their wonderful house with us.
