Things to note. - Price is based on 8 guests in total. The property can accommodate up to 10 guests subject to an additional charge per person per night to use the sofa beds and linen. Please select the correct number of guests when booking. - One pet is allowed subject to our pet policy.
- Tiverton is for the enjoyment of paying guests and does not allow parties, pre-wedding occasions, weddings, functions, schoolies, or gatherings of any kind.
- Our caretaker lives in a neighbouring property for any issues that may arise.
A pre authorised amount of $500 will be held on your assigned credit card for any damages or excess cleaning/rubbish removal. Please ensure funds are available as access information will not be provided until funds are held. Funds will be secured 2 days prior to arrival and released within 7 days.
- No smoking inside the house. Ashtrays are provided on the verandas.
- Security cameras onsite at outside entry points.
- Children must be always supervised by an adult. - Single level house with a few steps from car parking to the veranda. Walker is available upon request.
Note - Full reservation payment is due seven days prior to check in. For Christmas & Easter periods full payment is due thirty days prior to arrival.

Spacious, open and well kept
The house and land was very spacious and we enjoyed a stroll around the grounds too. We appreciated the house heating system and the fireplace since we went in the middle of winter. Kitchen was well equipped. Location is great, just before the blue mountains and it’s on a hill where there’s a view of Sydney.
Room for improvement is that the sofa bed in the master was more like a single bed than a double bed, and uncomfortable if you slept in the middle because of the fold. I suggest update the listing descriptions on beds, and also get a sofa bed similar to the lounge one in the master.

Upgrade your oven
Whilst the stay was nice and the house and gardens are lovely, I could not believe that the oven is so sub standard.
We had a whole roast dinner planned for us however the oven itself struggled to get past 150c.
Whilst this may seem like a menial piece of feedback, consider the fact that I spent 5 hours in the kitchen trying to cook a meal for us which eventually was plated at 9:30pm.
Not ideal.
I wouldn't come and stay at the house again purely based on the oven.
Fix that issue and the place is great, and I would definitely return.

Hi Alex, thanks for your comments. Its such shame you didn't attempt to contact us we could have sorted the issue for you. Sounds like the thermostat has failed - which happens. With houses much like your home, I'm sure sometimes appliances stop working through no fault of anyones it's just life! We will certainly get it looked at and repaired, at least we now know about it! The home offers the discerning holiday guest, 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms + powder room, multiple living areas with open and combustion fire's, large screen Tv's and ducted air-conditioning. A family sized kitchen with modern appliances including dishwasher and large island bench ensure plenty of space to create your favourite meals. If you need to work while your are away, Tiverton offers a dedicated study with large work space - including Nbn Wifi connection. The property enjoys verandahs on three sides which take in the views across the Sydney basin to the CBD. Outdoor entertaining is a breeze with a covered gazebo including, gas BBQ, fridge, dining table and seating. The grounds are expansive and showcase many species of European cool climate plantings, sweeping lawn areas and two dams. Tiverton does not allow parties, pre wedding occasions, functions schoolies or gatherings of any kind. Security cameras onsite at outside entry points. Our caretaker lives in a neighbouring property for any issues that may arise. Unfortunately we do not cater for guests with pets
